Brilliant service, all staff are lovely and friendly. The interior is stylish and clean. The food was decent but could be better but I really enjoyed my drinks and I would likely return when I’m next in the area.

Went to canero lounge today with a group of parkinsons group I had lounge breakfast not the best I've had in there. Sausage only just cooked bacon was screwed up in pieces and had to ask for has browns forgot to put on plate beans just warm worst food I've had allwas been great food .guys .

We eat here quite often. Lovely attentive staff, good food served hot which is a big plus and reasonably priced. Big gluten free menu and vegetarian options which is very very rare and greatly appreciated. Our first choice for lunch when we visit Derby city centre.

It's a bit dark inside, but the decor and atmosphere are interesting, and food is tasty. We had a breakfast.

£15 For Korean chicken burger that is smaller than McDonald's cheeseburger, with overdried chicken inside. Soggy fries full of oil, and shitty tiny splash or coleslaw. Just a robbery. Cocktail had almost no alcohol inside. Used to be better place.

Beef Chilli Brisket was beautiful. Would definitely recommend if you like a bit of chilli, if not you have Yoghurt to cool your mouth if your struggling. Theyve set up a table for children's crafts. Putting 1 star as cannot put 0, My disabled wife and I were in here having a drink and my wife is a diabetic so she had a sandwich but we bought drinks here. I need to have what looked like a kid come up to us with glasses and say due to allergies we're not allowed to eat other food. Tried to explain about my wife being a diabetic, he basically didn't care, he was shouting at us, he made us feel victimised. We both left our drinks and walked out. A real shame, because we would always pop in for a drink, then we have more than one. Not anymore it made us feel uncomfortable and we won't be coming back again avoid if you have diabetes.

The outside does not do this place justice. It's gorgeous inside. The food was amazing and staff were lovely.

The overall atmosphere of the restaurant is spectacular, and the place is amazingly decorated giving a cozy vintage vibe. It’s a really calm and quiet place with many places to choose from to sit. Great for meeting friends and having brilliant food whilst doing so.

I go to Canero Lounge quite regularly with different friends. Its such a chilled environment. Love the different vegan options. The food is amazing and the staff are lovely and friendly too.

First visit with my granddaughter who is a Vegan. Excellent choice of dishes for her. Friendly welcome, nice seating areas, I chose the lounge breakfast, smoked salmon was so tasty, eggs were perfect. Granddaughter had Vegan burger with salad and coleslaw, definitely no complaints about her food. Prices were very reasonable. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely tapas, included a drink great value and very tasty. Service was good. A little let down on first impressions as we're greeted by a kinda annoyed lady that there was 6 of us. Taken right to the back of the room on what seemed a quite rather empty evening.

Food was good but not very warm. No-one came round to check everything was OK.

Had the tomato and mascarpone sandwich, was excellent. Our coffees - mocha and latte could have done e with being a lot hotter though

The place is good and nice, I just wish they did singles nights for 20s and 30s still like they used to.

Won't be back. The girl with the drawn on eyebrows is very rude and the other one wasn't much better. I thought it was just me she was being rude to but then noticed she was rude to her colleague in the kitchen too.

This place is great, staff are super friendly, the food is always great and on time, and the atmosphere is superb, 5/5 across the board

Called for breakfast today. The Lounge eggs with bacon was tasty and filling and my wife's Smashed Avocado brunch was equally well received. It was early, and therefore empty, so any sort of atmosphere was lacking but the staff were friendly and the service quick and efficient. The only negative was that it seems a little expensive against similar out of town dining places, but maybe that's because I'm not used to city centre prices. Overall a positive experience, but I'll perhaps try having a lie in next time and arrive in time for an early lunch, as the tapas look good and appear better value.

Vegan sausage sandwich only had one sausage sliced, and the bread was a bit bleh.

We've been to several lounges around the country, but carnero was our first as well as our local. You can never go wrong, food is always of good quality with a wide selection of drinks. Staff are always friendly and last time we went we took our 4 month old puppy with us, staff were perfect with her and all 3 of us felt welcomed

Amazing food, the service was so fast and friendly, and they are so good for allergies - two gluten free teenagers in our party found plenty of options and were well looked after, with allergy flags in all the food. Came back twice and didn't have a complaint between us!

My friend and I had a lovely meal here, we both had the same, a Beyond burger with fries. It was my friends first vegan burger and she said it was great, the burger toppings helped, especially the melted applewood cheese. The fries were perfect, the coleslaw was ok, seemed vinegary, a good vegan coleslaw is hard to find The restaurant itself is really different, interesting and huge, I can’t remember what is was before but they’ve made a large space really comfortable The staff were very friendly, attentive and we were checked on a couple of times. I really enjoyed my burger and would definitely come back

The Buddha bowl left too much to be desired. They're great for an all day breakfast but seem to be lacking past that. The Drinks are great.

Amazing bar. Exciting menu, delicious food. Staff are all wonderful. Our server Amy has a wonderful smile and amazing attitude. We put through quite a large order and she did not bat an eye. 10/10 would recommend anyone come here the vibe is amazing and it's an amazing place to chill and socialise

First time in Derby, and Carnero did not disappoint. Wonderful food, very tasty, great staff and atmosphere. However it's always disheartening when managers have a meeting at a table with diners and hearing uncomfortable business conversations whilst trying to eat.

Myself and my two daughters decided to have brunch at Carnero lounge and so glad we did. Food was delicious, easy to order on the app and the service throughout was excellent. The girls were all so friendly. Had a couple of drinks before we went to the train station and they were amazing too. We sat outside and it’s a great place for people watching! Highly recommend and we will return….we’d like to try the tapas!

Lovely meal had the Beef Brisket Chilli......excellent meal also added chorizo. Served by friendly attentive staff.

Great selection of menu, nice to see a different variety of food compared to standard pub grub food. Buddha bowl was really nice and tasty, good coffee and we also ordered a chicken, avocado burger which also went down well. Staff all really friendly and nice. Ordering really easy through the qr code on the table.

This is the perfect place to meet up with friends for a drink and a bite to eat.

I am here once a week for an event gathering and everyone is incredibly lovely, this is one of my favourite places to go to, also the food is amazing!

Finding a place that is genuinely wheelchair friendly is not easy. The staff at Carnero lounge were brilliant - allowing us to reserve a table and using elephant’s feet to raise the table. Furthermore, the food was fantastic! First rate all round - definitely worth a visit.

Had another lovely time here. Food is fantastic with vegan and gluten free options. Thank you to all the staff yesterday especially the gentleman on the tills in the morning Saturday 27th April He was so kind explaining to me the difference between tolerance and allergies with reference to the meals. It was really helpful.Thank you. This although vibrant is also relaxing and has little areas to sit and enjoy company or on your own.

Had a delicious aubergine harissa flatbread. There's also a kids playing area which my toddler enjoyed while I had lunch.

Very enjoyable little lunch here at a reasonable price. We went because my son is vegan and there's a separate vegan menu! He was happy with the all-day breakfast and I enjoyed the 3-tapas deal. Staff were very helpful and polite and the photos and artwork covering the walls was very interesting. Will return.

Food was awful. Avacado rock hard and looked rotten. And side order of fries would not have fed a bettle.

Always enjoy Carnero. Can’t pick a favourite, love the big breakfast, had some great burgers, tapas is yummy. Great menu! I went to the opening night. And have been a fair few times since. My 3 year old loves the play corner and craft table. He may work leaving meal there. Always a winner in my book!

I was visiting some friends in Derby from London and came here for brunch after reading the reviews. The staff are very polite and their food is top quality for affordable prices. The hash browns are the best I’ve ever had :) The atmosphere is lovely to sit and look around and they also have some quiet ambient music. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a spot to eat. Will definitely be coming here again :)

Excellent dog friendly bar/restaurant. One of our party was vegan and another was gluten free and the choices for both were excellent and very varied. The prices are reasonable and the food was cooked perfectly. We will definitely return.

Food was nice. Only thing was the portion of chips was pretty stingey and the chef constantly banging the bell was a bit irritating. Otherwise pretty good.

Lovely set up and the food was delicious. We were booked as a table of 11. This unfortunately resulted in some of the food been bought out cold and some dishes quite late to arrive to the table. But the food quality was spot on and the staff we super helpful. My only advice would be to keep those covers warm and try and deliver those big orders in a more timely fashion.

It was my first time for me here and I met a friend. It's so relaxed and lovely ambience. Had a get together with a larger group for the Tuesday Tapas which was really enjoyable and the staff worked really well to get all orders ready. Food was wonderful and especially Gluten free menu. I was recommended this place due to the GF menu and we were not disappointed by the range that my boy could have. Almost matching the regular menu. The staff were friendly and the food was great. I went with family (and we loved the board games whilst waiting) but would like to try with friends as the cocktail menu looked great!

We met our grandchildren here on Shrove Tuesday, just like we did last year and the experience was just as good. The pancakes quickly arrive and there is a great choice of toppings. Very pleasant staff, building with atmosphere. Thank you!

I’ve been many a times to Carnegie lounge over the last six years and I’ve always had mixed views. When I’ve been in the morning or the day time the food has been great. But on too many occasions the food in the evening, especially midweek days has been well below standards. For example; chicken wings seem to have been microwaved and have dried up. I ordered a beef dish that arrived with next to no beef which was sent back for a replacement. The replacement returned with NO beef to the amusement of my friends. Please don’t offer food, or reduce the selection during midweek evenings if you cannot reproduce the same standards of the weekend and daytimes. Staff have always been very polite and happy to help. Just a shame about the food… sometimes.

Unfortunately the only things on the plate were the hash browns, the beans were stone cold and were sent back to be warmed up and unfortunately they came back slightly warm, left the beans and won't be returning.

Had a lovely few unexpected drinks this week at carnero. We popped in for one but the buzz and incredible play list kept us there. One of my colleagues wasn’t sure what lager she wanted, and the bar lady, Amy I think, was very considerate in waiting and helping to guide our choices. A few espresso martinis cruzcampos and rums later, and we had to leave. Shame we had eaten as the food smelt delicious. Will definitely be back. Thank you all x
