Best chippy in town and maybe even wider spread but I haven't tried them haha. All the staff are amazing, food always top notch and portions are immense. Keep it up guys!

I'm a driver got tobe worsted chip shop iv bein in urderd keaba meat and chips kebab cold and coverd in grease chips warm and greasy never agen couldn't eat was going chuck it out window but don't think rats would eat it

I visited SoI for the first time tonight with friends. We had not booked and it was not a problem getting a table. We received a really warm welcome and the owner came to speak to us and recommended dishes for us after checking what sort of things we liked. He recommended a dish for me that was not even on the menu. I ordered this and it was superb. The food that we all had was delicious, the service was attentive and I will definitely be returning with other friends.

First time here, it's bigger on the inside.... just like the Tardis!!

Apsolutley brilliant local pub! This it really one of the best pubs in England! The atmosphere is fabulous, and so is the beer! Exactly what a good pub should be!!

We have used Massala for 6 years now and we can categorically say that the quality and taste of the food has always been exceptional. The owners are so friendly, professional and passionate about their food and for giving their customers the best service. They go out of their way to deliver top, quality food every time. We wouldn't go anywhere else.

I meet up with friends every Monday, breakfast is wonderful, done to how you want it, wonderful poached eggs , yolks runny just right , white of eggs perfect, a friend always has a full English breakfast, always looks perfect, she has never had to complain, in fact next Monday I will have that breakfast it looks so good, owner and staff always so welcoming and great service, my sister and I had a high tea, for her birthday, it was fabulous and really worth the money.

Great local pub, buzzing on a Saturday night. Live artists at weekend. Efficient and friendly bar staff.

A quaint pub, but need to educate some staff on daily product's, as asked a couple of questions about the menu and the lad had to keep going to find out but apart from that the food was really nice
