Brilliant pool table and atmosphere

Great friendly pub, brilliant band "TripHazzard" as well!

I came in with friends for an evening recently. There was a band on and it was a nice atmosphere. There was a great mix of young and old in there and everyone seemed to get on.

When I come here people look at me like the legend elvis. I may be on the rock n roll but I am a str8 up G. Respect.

A nicely decorated local pub at the Low Leighton side of New Mills. They serve well kept Robinsons real ale and alongside a sizeable TV near the bar a projection screen can fill one half of the bar with the latest sports fixture. A fireplace stands ready for warmth in the colder months.

So welcoming and friendly. Lovely atmosphere, karaoke great! Will definitely be back. Travelled from Rugby.

Nice company, nice service, clean pipes mean nice beer.

The decor is wonderful with nice art on the walls, a fireplace, and some quirky items for a lovely atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and it was all just very lovely. The selection of non alcoholic drinks were really great, and there were sanitary products in the women's toilets, which shows the level of care this place has.

A fantastic local pub with great beer, sports on multiple TVs, live music and brilliant staff. The landlady and lord are the stars

Had a great time at the Hare & Hounds. We'd gone out for a works night out,the atmosphere was fab & who doesn't like a bit of karaoke. We ordered some pizzas, which I thought were a little overpriced considering they were frozen. That being said, they tasted lovely. I would definitely go again.

We called in last Sunday evening, 13th Sept. No food available (fair enough it was quite late) so the man behind the bar suggested that we go to the excellent Indian over the road to order a take-away. He said they would deliver it to the H and H. That worked well, and the same kind man even brought us plates and cutlery to where we sat outside on that warm evening. We had some drinks and thanked him for his great kindness. It was well beyond what we would have expected from him, unfortunately didn't get his name, and we were sorry not to return there as we were leaving the following morning. What great service! Good beer, good decor just the banks shaft places like this by making them put a minimum card charge on for punters which makes it a pain...

Visited this pub for the first time to see my mates band The Cadillacs, and found the place very friendly and welcoming, a good selection of drinks and dog friendly. Live music every Saturday. Will definitely be back.

A very well kept Robinsons pub, friendly bar staff and the usual selection of drinks. They have lots of screens, including a projector, which they show the big sporting events. They have a courtyard outside and some tables as a smoking area. Live music every weekend, and normally a good turn out
