Nasty, rude and disgusting both the service and the food

Wish i could give this place a 5 but unfortunately i cant, the staff here are rude and shouted at my children down the phone. My poor daughter wanted to buy an indian with her birthday money as thats her favourite food and instead she got swore at. Im teaching my kids independence and all they got was mocked by a rude grown man, teach your staff some respect and maybe more people would order from here. severely disappointed

The food was absolutely delicious! It had the perfect amount of spice and texture and also arrived very fresh and warm. The delivery was also great, perfectly on time. Will definitely be ordering from here again.

The team at Masala takeaway was incredibly warm and hospitable. Their cuisine was nothing short of delightful, perfectly tailored to my preference for spiciness and devoid of excess sugar. The service was impressively prompt, making my wait feel almost non-existent.

Always ordered from here. Normally top class food and have always given them a 5* rating and recommended to others. Tonight, major disappointment, cold food, missing food, burnt dried bahjis. Had to phone the twice. Do t know if they have been taken over but definitely not their normal service or quality. I will not be returning.

Well I must say that this curry house has exceeded my expectations. I have had a few curries from here in the past but this must be the best one yet. I had a meal for two and what a bargain it was!! Delivery driver with a smile delivery charge competitive and the chicken was very succulent and not dry like others. I asked for my chicken balti to be Jalfrezi hot and it was perfect. Outstanding thank you very much!

First time using this indian was fantastic everything was spot on and the price was pretty fair too. This time our 2nd time was a disgrace with the quality of food.. dry chewy lamb on my main :(.. the worst thing was the onion ratia.. "shrek spunk" is the only way to describe it. And the samosas we received we're definitely shop bought asda have the same ones. Thought we found a gem with this place unfortunately we was wrong the standard of food was poor. We'll certainly be eating elsewhere. Customer service was polite.

If I could give more stars I would. Food was amazing, by far the best Indian takeaway either of us have ever had. Food was hot, on time, and DELICIOUS!!!!! Portion sizes were spot on, staff extremely friendly. I can’t recommend Massala highly enough - this is definitely going to become a regular for us!

We've used Massala in Ibstock twice in Jan & Feb 2022 and all of us enjoyed our food very much. We opted for collection and our order was ready on time both times, and the staff were pleasant and friendly. We will certainly be using them again.

Best Indian Curry around Ibstock! As an Indian after a long time got the pure Deshi flavour specially The Lamb Naga and The Raj Chingri Jhol! Got papadom free so worty of money! Definitely order again. Take love xx

Food quality excellent always delivered on time

This was the first and last time we have bought anything from Massala. The Biriani was greasy and tasteless with very few herbs or spices. The Garlic Mix Tandoori Nawabi was unexpectedly tasteless and oily. The Garlic nan had almost no garlic. Overall a very disappointing experience, especially at the price we paid.

First order from massala. Fantastic service with amazing tasting food! Well done massala I will be returning very soon.

We used massala on a friend's recommendation. It was the first Indian we'd had since the first lock down and I can honestly say I haven't tasted a chicken korma that wasn't more wholesome, flavoursome and tender. It very quickly was decided that Massala would be our choice of Indian takeaway without a shadow of a doubt. The staff are wonderful, they are friendly, generous, considerate and always have a smile on their faces. They are mindful of the community and the times they deliver and endeavour to deliver the highest quality food and customer services at all times. They have worked incredibly hard during the pandemic and are doing a fantastic job at keeping us all well fed with delicious mouth watering food. Keep going guys. Lots of love from us to you. By far the best takeaway Indian restaurant in the Ibstock area. The food is amazing it always tastes really nice, I have eaten in a lot of Indian restaurants across the UK on my travels and massala never fails with authentic Indian food, its always hot, the people in the takeaway are always nice and have a joke with you. Honestly the best don't bother with anywhere else.

Ordered through their website, smooth order process and delivery came on time. The mix grill I'd ordered was larger than most local takeaways and tasted great! Very impressed.

Ordered in the afternoon for delivery at 7:30. Order accepted for delivery at 8pm. Order arrived at 11pm, 3 hours late! Received no calls from the restaurants even though just eat had sent driver on their way at 8:30. Had to redial quite a few times before I could get through to chase where order was. Wish I’d cancelled as family were too tired to enjoy it. Pity as always had good service before from here.

Very disappointed been supporting this Indian since it first opened and always given excellent reviews as the food has always been sensational. However since they have re opened it’s done finished. First order 2.5 hours late and incomplete. Second order was late 10mins no problem but the food was cold and needed reheating and the food was not enjoyable at all definitely not the same chef and owner.... sorry guys but you need to find your spark again

Ordered the food and eta was 9:10. It was a little late but i must say this was the best experience i have ever had from a takeaway service. The chap rang me at 8:45 to explain and apologise the food would be 25 minutes later than stated. I was extremely appreciatative of his call. Under the circumstances of whats going on in the world we need to be understanding. And even if the food was awful i would still have been satisfied. My gosh the food was amazing. My first time here and it definitely wont be my last incredible service and absolutely fantastic fresh food. 5 star service. Definitely recommend.

It's a shame the delivery is so awful as the food is great. First time ordered the delivery was 2 hours late (given was told that they had a problem with a van). Now I thought I'd order again and still waiting at 40 minutes past the scheduled delivery time. Rang 20 minutes ago and was told the driver is 5 minutes away. Hmmmmmmm

Just had an amazing takeaway. We had a selection of starters and a lamb tikka main. Absolutely beautiful! Lamb tikka melted in your mouth and the prawns nice and juicy. Cooked to perfection. Fantastic service too. Have found our new local Indian. 😍

Wow what can I say first of all I'm a bit picky with new places ordered from here tonight food was pipping hot you only had to look at the chicken and it broke into pieces best curry I've had in awhile will definitely be ordering again the madras was beautiful even got a wet wipe and a sweet after delicious 10/10 👌👌

2nd time ordering from here as it was beautiful the first time. I ordered butter chicken which for the first time in my life was bright red and tasted exactly like a korma which I'm not keen on! Not impressed as butter chicken has never tasted like this before and it was only Luke warm by the time it arrived. Unfortunately I am not entirely happy with the food. But there delivery time was fast 👍
