Wouldn’t order again. The food temperature was lukewarm, the chicken tikka Massala is from out of space very grainy and some weird red color. Not traditionally tasting too. Naan bread was very doughy and not cooked. Awful

Unfortunately they forgot our drinks that we ordered which was a bit disappointing, as we had chosen this place because they offered soft drinks. Otherwise the food was nice, a little too spicy for me though.

Expected better, the Korai didn’t taste of a great deal, starter again no flavour, disappointed.

Food great as usual however salad missing for mixed kebab which kind of spoilt the starter a little.

my first time ordering from massala and quite possibly the best Indian take away I've ever had. The portion sizes are huge, the flavours are on point, it was lovely and hot when it arrived. Nice garnishes on top of my different dishes. Thank you for an amazing take away!

Really sad because we chose the restaurant for a takeaway after a recommendation, but ordered at 5.30 pm, put the time for 6.30 to be delivered and turned up 40 minutes late, Cold and even the poppadoms were stale.

Really delicious food, delivered on time. Great selection of vegetarian options and every single dish we have tried is absolutely delicious! This is our favourite takeaway we have tried in the area and will definitely be a place we order from regularly.

Ordering In for delivery. Usually there's alot of flavour and enjoyable, but this time i ordered a lamb bhuna and a paneer balti. And they were both sweet with hardly any spice at all. Also Oily I could scoop the oil out with a tablespoon. Coconut rice was good. Onion bhaji wasn't crispy enough for me. Long story short. Oily, need some more spice. And bhaji need more crispy.

We decided to order a meal for our anniversary. We ordered a couple of hours in advance for delivery and it turned up smack on time. The food was amazing! We have only recently moved into the area so thought we would try our local takeaway. We couldn't fault the food or service in anyway so now we know how good Masala is we don't need to try anywhere else. Amazing is the only way to describe our food and delivery service. The food is the best I’ve ever had! I can’t believe there’s other Indian takeaways still in business! Massala absolutely blow all competition out of the water! Every time we’ve ordered it’s perfect! I have just seen they have had a couple negative reviews. That seem to be abit fishy too me maybe some local comp! The staff at Massala have always been so polite and generous! Highly recommend ❤️

Great food and we order from here regularly but on this occasion it must have been busy because we had over and half an hour delay. But when food arrived it was lovely and still super hot!

Ordered at 7:26 with a time of 40-50 mins delivery time. Food turned up at 20:57. I phoned the restaurant at 20:50 to be told that it was on the way. The reason for it being late is that Appleby was a bit far away….take it off the list then.

Wish i could give this place a 5 but unfortunately i cant, the staff here are rude and shouted at my children down the phone. My poor daughter wanted to buy an indian with her birthday money as thats her favourite food and instead she got swore at. Im teaching my kids independence and all they got was mocked by a rude grown man, teach your staff some respect and maybe more people would order from here. severely disappointed

Best curry we've had in ages. we have used another for over a few years and it just became poor quality, with next to no meat in the dishes. But Massala is amazing quality and quantity for the price. definitely recommend to anyone wanting to try something tasty and new! It's our new favourite takeaway and we order it at least once a week every week as a treat, it's just that good 😋🤤

great place, order from here all the time and comes early more often than not

1st time ordering from here. Food was delivered on time and was nice and hot which was a plus as you don’t even get that with some places. Food quality overall was good. Popadoms tasted fresh and crisp. Naan could have done with a bit more filling for me but that’s a personal preference. Starters, curries and rice were also good, my wife is veggie so she tends to have a couple of starters as her main. Hopefully get the same result when we order again some time.

Best takeaway Indian food in the area. Simple as that. Nothing else needs saying.

Great quality of food, unfortunately the vegetable curry was missing for the Biryani, which I gather is our fault for not checking as we collected it. We will certainly not make this mistake again and will ensure we check each item before we leave with our takeaway.

I order food at 20:10 and it didn’t arrive until 21:40. By this time it was too late to enjoy. The positive was that it was hot and nice but this will be the last time I order from here.
