Good food but I found the Pathia a little too sweet. Chicken was beautifully tender. Great takeaway service.

my first time ordering from massala and quite possibly the best Indian take away I've ever had. The portion sizes are huge, the flavours are on point, it was lovely and hot when it arrived. Nice garnishes on top of my different dishes. Thank you for an amazing take away!

Really sad because we chose the restaurant for a takeaway after a recommendation, but ordered at 5.30 pm, put the time for 6.30 to be delivered and turned up 40 minutes late, Cold and even the poppadoms were stale.

WOW. what a great meal. value for money is an understatement. vindaloo had plenty of meat and potatoe is a deffo. restaurant was busy and advised it would be late rather than say it was delivered and left wondering where the food was. this food is awesome and authentic flavour is great. thanks team, you made our meal perfect. 5*****

We decided to order a meal for our anniversary. We ordered a couple of hours in advance for delivery and it turned up smack on time. The food was amazing! We have only recently moved into the area so thought we would try our local takeaway. We couldn't fault the food or service in anyway so now we know how good Masala is we don't need to try anywhere else. Amazing is the only way to describe our food and delivery service. I have just seen they have had a couple negative reviews. That seem to be abit fishy too me maybe some local comp! The staff at Massala have always been so polite and generous! Highly recommend ❤️

Great food and we order from here regularly but on this occasion it must have been busy because we had over and half an hour delay. But when food arrived it was lovely and still super hot!

Ordered at 7:26 with a time of 40-50 mins delivery time. Food turned up at 20:57. I phoned the restaurant at 20:50 to be told that it was on the way. The reason for it being late is that Appleby was a bit far away….take it off the list then.

Wish i could give this place a 5 but unfortunately i cant, the staff here are rude and shouted at my children down the phone. My poor daughter wanted to buy an indian with her birthday money as thats her favourite food and instead she got swore at. Im teaching my kids independence and all they got was mocked by a rude grown man, teach your staff some respect and maybe more people would order from here. severely disappointed

Best curry we've had in ages. we have used another for over a few years and it just became poor quality, with next to no meat in the dishes. But Massala is amazing quality and quantity for the price. definitely recommend to anyone wanting to try something tasty and new! It's our new favourite takeaway and we order it at least once a week every week as a treat, it's just that good 😋🤤

great place, order from here all the time and comes early more often than not

1st time ordering from here. Food was delivered on time and was nice and hot which was a plus as you don’t even get that with some places. Food quality overall was good. Popadoms tasted fresh and crisp. Naan could have done with a bit more filling for me but that’s a personal preference. Starters, curries and rice were also good, my wife is veggie so she tends to have a couple of starters as her main. Hopefully get the same result when we order again some time.

Best takeaway Indian food in the area. Simple as that. Nothing else needs saying.

Great quality of food, unfortunately the vegetable curry was missing for the Biryani, which I gather is our fault for not checking as we collected it. We will certainly not make this mistake again and will ensure we check each item before we leave with our takeaway.

I order food at 20:10 and it didn’t arrive until 21:40. By this time it was too late to enjoy. The positive was that it was hot and nice but this will be the last time I order from here.

Bit disappointed this time. Usually the food is great! This time it was watery and the texture was off. The chicken was dry. The naans and popadoms were lovely as always, and the food was hot. I’d guess that it was just a busy time tonight.

the most oily Indian food I've ever had. the tarka dhal was not edible and had to request a refund as was just lentils in oil. the curry I ordered was very very oily but managed to syphon some off to eat it. would not order again, probs the worst Indian I've ever had and cannot understand the 4 star reviews.

At last! We might have found a decent Indian Takeaway. Slightly late but understandable as we’re not on their doorstep. Good sized portions and great menu choice. We will definitely be ordering again soon!
