The best restaurants in East Midlands

Fantastic atmosphere, caring service without being too present. Snacks were excellent, onion very delicate and the hogget amazingly cooked. Missing sides are not altering the experience since the tasteful bread and butter brings enough satiety but would have been interesting to see what the chef can bring on that end. One of the best 1 star I have been to across Europe.

I was quite disappointed by the experience unfortunately. I was looking forward to a veggie roast, and had seen they did homemade nut roasts etc but all they had were vegan sausages. They were the cheap ‘birdseye’ frozen type I could have bought from the supermarket. And I paid £14 for the privilege! I didn’t get a Yorkshire pudding either like it said on the menu. We were also sat next to a table of about 10 young lads who were quite loud, even though we had booked! There was a whole empty restaurant behind that they could have sat us in too!

Don't be fooled by the fact that this place is in the sleepy village of Gedling. Inside it is a smart cosmopolitan venue with great food and great staff. Well worth a visit if you are looking for great quality Italian cuisine in this neck of the woods.

Great place, gluten free food available and very tasty. Staff were young and very accomodating and well trained. Will definitely have fish & chips there on out next visit. Thank you.

DONT ORDER ANY KING PRAWN FROM THESE GUYS I JUST SPENT £8 ON A PRAWN CURRY AND THEY PUT 3 KING PRAWNS IN WITH 90% ONION AND MUSHROOM for £8

I stayed one night in room 10. It was extremely well equipped, with an excellent shower room and good value for money. Good beer, friendly service and tasty breakfast. If you like staying somewhere with more individuality than a chain hotel, this place should suit you nicely.

The food and service were both amazing. We visit nottingham a lot, and will definitely be booking to go here again

A great place ,entertainment was provided ala singalong food was all good!

Little food for the price.. Ordered a biriani and just got a small tub of oily sauce with the rice. Won't be having a take away from there again.

This restaurant is a hidden gem in Nottingham. From the minute you arrive the service is excellent. Food is great and the prices are reasonable. Staff great. Would highly recommend
