Best chip shop around. Consistently great.

Called tonight, wasn't sure what to expect, however, this is the best take away service we have had in a very long time, immaculately clean, brilliant staff, attentive and read the order back, freshly cooked to order, delicious in every way, 100% cannot find fault, right money, right food, honestly blown away!

Excellent fish & chips. Lovely batter, good fish size for small. Great tasting mushy peas. Definitely somewhere I'll go again.

Just great and very authentic. I came here straight after arriving from Berlin with my daughter and her boyfriend. Super fresh, super tasty. Large portions and a great team. Many greetings to the nice lady from Cyprus.

Nice fish, great chips, kebab was alright but very salty. Clearly a good place to eat considering the massive queue in the evening. Easy to park behind the building for a moment. Will be coming back.

Fabulous chip butty, in a box with newspaper at the bottom, very classy and just the right portion size.

Up here from Essex, working,needed some dinner found draycott fish bar online,had a right result the food was great,the portions were big and the staff seemed really nice and the price was very reasonable, will definitely go there again.

Our first time trying Draycott Fish Bar tonight and we will now make this our regular - fantastic service and great quality food. Fluffy chips, perfect fish and hand made tartare sauce to die for! A perfect meal, well worth the drive from NG10. We will be back again soon.

First time trying Draycott fish bar after being let down by our usual choice. Massively impressed and it will become our regular chippy from now on. I did click and collect which was handy as it was very busy, a great sign for any takeaway. The staff were brilliant. Really friendly and got through the orders Incredibly fast considering the amount of people who were ordering. The food was superb, not soggy, not greasy and really really tasty. The fish was superb and the batter was crispy but not overpowering. Would highly recommend to anyone.

By far the best chippy I have ever had. And I've had a few. Friendly staff. Very clean and tidy. Nice atmosphere between the staff. And the kebabs are 100% class. Wouldn't go anywhere else.

This is the best fish and chips in the whole area. I have had takeaways on two occasions and will definately be back. Food is excellent.

Food is first class but what is the point of ordering on-line if you have to wait in the queue when you arrive to tell them you are here for your food then to be prepared... defeated the object..may as well turn up and order

Located in the centre of Draycotts little village, this chip shop stands out by miles to others. We’ve never had a bad meal from this place and one the one occasion an order was slightly wrong they rectified it straight away. Friendly and helpful staff.. highly recommend!

I was going to tell a joke, but decided it's not the plaice. I think this place is so great is because they are afishionados. Friendly, great fast efficient service. But most importantly a lovely fish and chips every time I go in

Discovered this place at the weekend, as passing through on the way home to East Midlands airport. The food was outstanding, ordered a kebab for my son which he shared with my husband, who said it was one of the best that he has had!! I ordered fish bites, fishcake and chips, which were excellent value for money, as there were healthy portions for a family of four and plenty of leftovers. Customer service was excellent, the young lady behind the counter was very professional and gave my 14 yr old son some sweets!! Even though it is not my local, I will will certainly travel the extra miles to order again!!

Best chippy we’ve been to in ages. My wife popped in with my son yesterday, early evening. She gave my son a bag of sweets with our order, which was a lovely little touch. So kind. We’ll definitely use this chippy and travel to it. Prices are superb value too. Highly recommended. 10/10.

Was passing by, stopped for haddock and chips and mushy peas, plus tartar sauce, and OMG it was the BEST chippy meal I've had in years!! As fresh and tasty as when you you have great fish and chips by the sea! Mushy peas were amazing too and the tartatlr sauce was sublime!! Well worth a visit!!

Very frustrating because the food is nice, but its never open. Its open 4 days a week for only 4 hours and then only 4.30-8pm on a Thursday how can you run a fish and chip shop like that. The old owners were open everyday till 11pm at night. Shame as its lovely food.

Ordered for collection, arrived a little early so wasn't ready but made straight away. Nice to see the shop after it's recent refurbishment, much more room for customers now. Collections on the right, walk ins to the left. Went for a mixed kebab on naan, best kebab ever. will definitely be ordering again

A must place to visit, freshly cooked skinless fish in either traditional batter or bread crumbs, I had the pleasure of having bread crumbs and it's the best fish I've ever had, the chips were perfect and the staff were very helpful and friendly.

The food from here is just GREAT. The Quality is Guaranteed and the Cooking is to perfection. When I pass I get my tea and even though I have a 40 minute drive The food is so nice when I get home. We had small fish & chips Mixed kebab on naan Carton Gravy and Peas. The batter on the fish was not soaked with oil. It was light and crispy and the fish was nice and thick and so nice. The Kebab wowwww and I saved some for breakfast. Bang On. The Staff were all Great and Busy. I can see why they are busy . GREAT SERVICE GREAT FOOD and A Good Honest Price for what you get. Well Done Try the Gravy Mix ( The gravy poured over the Chips. Yes Please)
