What a hidden gem! Fantastic food and amazing service! Staff were really friendly and the food was good pub food dive superbly. Rare to find a pub that does simple food really well.

Pub is lovely if you just want a drink. Food on the other hand not very nice me and my partner had fish and chips which tasted like washing up liquid and made us feel instantly sick. Wasn’t worth nearly £50🤮

Moved recently to Keyworth we’ve been several times to the restaurant and have always had an exceptional meal

I recently celebrated my 30th birthday at Jenkins Bar, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish! Carolyn and the team were so accommodating, making the entire process seamless and stress-free. The venue itself has a fantastic atmosphere - intimate, stylish, and perfect for a celebration. With the number of guests I had invited, I opted for exclusive hire (upstairs and downstairs), which worked brilliantly for a mix of family and friends. So many of my guests commented on how great the space was, with many saying they hadn’t known about the bar before but would definitely be returning! One of the highlights was working with Luke, the mixologist, to create a personalised cocktail for the night - it was such a fun and unique touch. The bar staff were fantastic, keeping up with a busy night while staying friendly and efficient. Carolyn’s clear communication throughout the planning process also made everything so easy, and on the night, everything ran smoothly. We had no problem meeting the minimum spend - safe to say, everyone had a great time! Another big plus is the bar’s location - just outside the city centre, making it easily accessible without the usual city crowds. I also really appreciated the flexibility of being able to bring our own food and drop off decorations earlier in the day, which made setting up stress-free. If you’re looking to support a small, independent business with a unique venue for a private event, I highly recommend Jenkins Bar. A huge thank you to the entire team for making my birthday so special!

Four of us went for dinner tonight and we all loved it. The fish and chips was fantastic, as was the desserts. Thank you. Lovely oldie pub too - long may it continue

This is a fantastic wee pub, great selection of beers at a very reasonable price. The bar staff are very friendly and efficient. This is a pub as pubs should be.

Went for a lunchtime jazz session, great ale, great food , albeit cobs sausage rolls pork pies crisps they were excellent, staff very friendly, great atmosphere for chilling out!

Didn't eat only had cocktails, lovely place

We had two roast beef Sunday lunches today. We've eaten here several times, and the food, staff and environment are 1st class. Todays takeaway lunch was great, we couldn't fault anything, and we will not hesitate to have it again.

We had a fantastic lunch, food is delicious and very reasonable, We Steak Pie & Ckicken, Bacon & Stilton sauce, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Food was brilliant, traditional Korean. Service was slow. But given our big group they did well. Unfortunately, the restaurant is small so only good for small groups of people.

Such welcoming people. No pressure. Sitting in garden to eat wasn't an issue with a tab. Very refreshing not having to pay up front. Food was delicious and the homemade pie....my hubby was in heaven Guys you must visit this place they are absolute diamonds xxx

We didn't have food from there.as it was a private party .but the staff were very friendly

Best chippy in town and maybe even wider spread but I haven't tried them haha. All the staff are amazing, food always top notch and portions are immense. Keep it up guys!
