The best restaurants in East Midlands

Been in to cooplands this afternoon. And there's a young man working there. He's very polite and welcoming and very helpful. Jeep up the amazing work. X

Food was absolutely lovely, really tasty and was piping hot. I definitely recommend this place!

Probably he is selling the most expensive cobs in the Nottingham. To be honest cob was tasty but considering the price, it's not worth the money

I cannot emphasise enough the quality of the food and the service at The Angel. My husband and I visited Ilfracombe for our 1 year anniversary and a few weeks before, I caught wind of this place and was lucky enough to get a table for 2 on a Saturday evening. My husband is vegetarian and I am a picky pescatarian and there was plenty on the menu for both of us. The food was really delicious, home cooked but prepared and served with professional style. We absolutely loved the aesthetic of the restaurant, it's intimate and beautifully put together. It was the best table service I believe I've ever had and we even had a chat with Carol the owner/chef about Sheffield, which she knew well. Whilst I understand they are now booked up until Christmas, if you ever get the chance to go, we would highly recommend it. What. A. Find.

Visited on Valentines night (with my amazingly beautiful wife, …. and both teenage boys with girlfriends) We had an amazing night, amazing food, so relaxing and made some special memories! Thank you so much, see you all soon (LOVE THIS PLACE SO MUCH)

Huge and always free parking. You get a £6 voucher for the restaurant. The restaurant is on the first floor. Qualified staff. Free toilet and shower open 24 hours a day.

The Bakehouse opened in June 2021 but by July 2022 it had closed. It was originally the garage to Kings Arms. Great idea but IMHO there is very limited demand for £3'50 Sourdough bread in Chapel. People buy Supermarket bread. the Pub also opened in July 2022 but by January was closed. It was at one time interested to buy but the upper part needed a fortune spent on it.

Been going here for years and always had amazing food! Definitely recommend, the staff are always friendly and really reasonably priced.

Just had a takeaway from Mash. Fabulous food, friendly service, worth travelling from East Leake for. Best curry I’ve had in ages. I really enjoyed this, hence this review.
