Had the special curry. Amazing value. Big pieces of each meat, freshly cooked, great portion. Asked for it a bit spicy and it was spot on. Friendly service. Will be going again.

Situated just off the Kettering Road this small take away was a nice find, and have ordered a few times now. The staff are very friendly and accommodating to modifications as well as requests. The prawn toasts are very plump and the peking sauce was quite tasty. It is nice to see some vegetarian options like the tofu and pak choi options.

The best Chinese takeaway in Northampton. We were recommended Evergreen Cottage by friends and would definitely be visiting again. We were greeted by a lovely gentleman at front of house who took our order. Our food was promptly prepared within 10-15 minutes, quite impressive considering it was New Years Eve, how busy there were and how much we ordered. I would recommend Evergreen Cottage for the great food and always being welcomed with a smile.

Took my partner as a birthday gift as he hadn't been there in years. The food was excellent as always and had to ask for doggie bag to take home as couldn't eat it all we opted for the Classic Menu for 2 well worth the money.

237 Birchfield Road EastAll the reviews are before 2023. We are now in 2025 and their food is terrible!! Burnt bbq ribs, but happily served, special chow mein without sauce was totally bland, no flavour whatsoever. Things have really badly gone down hill
