Casa Latina in North East Derbyshire

Visited on Valentines night (with my amazingly beautiful wife, …. and both teenage boys with girlfriends) We had an amazing night, amazing food, so relaxing and made some special memories! Thank you so much, see you all soon (LOVE THIS PLACE SO MUCH)

Lovely evening last night, excellent service, very welcoming and friendly,atmosphere transports you to the Mediterranean. Christina and her husband so lovely felt like family,all dishes explained. Good choice of Tapas dishes with mouth watering flavours,excellent 💯. Lovely Latino music and even had a party bun with candles brought out for my sisters birthday and all staff singing to her, such a lovely touch. Definitely will be returning,and highly recommend this restaurant to anyone. Why go into town when you have this little gem on your door step. Thank you to you all ❤

I went pre covid and the food was wonderful but wasn't impressed this time. I must say that the staff were good but the food wasn't. It was only luke warm when it was served and stone cold when we ate it, they brought all the dishes out at once. What they could do with is food warmers on the table to put the plates of food on. The bread was like eating dumplings - doughy.

We visited our good friends in Dronfield and left them to book a restaurant. They choose really well, from entering the restaurant we were greeted with smiles and friendliness we had a choice of a couple of tables. Good selection of drinks, we were should to our table and left to peruse the menu, with great options. We selected the breads and several tapas dishes. Ate here last night food was delicious especially the prawns, service second to none, Tracey and Greame (2 of the owners) were exceptional hosts will be visiting again shortly 😀 😋

I am a regular visitor to Casa Latina and it is always a fantastic experience. Food is of the highest order, a good selection of quality wines and service to match Cristina and her staff are very hard working and attentive. Very highly recommended.

I have now been twice to this amazing gem of a restaurant, the food is amazing, as are the lovely welcoming staff. Will definitely be going back, we've told all our friends about Casa Latina, would highly recommend....

I have no experience, I am in Valencia Spain and I am trying to contact casa latina .org, as I am also setting up an NGO in Spain related to the world of Latin migrants and I would like to know if you have anything to do with this issue.

Went last week to Casa Latina and had the meatballs, chillean bread, arancini and steak. Food was absolutely delicious and topped off by great service from the waiters who were all polite and smartly dressed. Would recommend 2-4 dishes depending on appetite as they're a decent size but not massive- it is tapas! 10/10 would recommend

I came here with my mum last weekend to celebrate her birthday. We had a wonderful evening, the food was incredible and the service and atmosphere were absolutely fantastic. We will be back very soon.

Casa latinas a lovely restaurant with an absolutely beautiful atmosphere, the food there is to die for and the chef neil is an absolute crack, shout out to the staff, particularly Kai who showed great service and was very sociable, would definitely come again. :)

Nice quiet place, with coffee and cake during the day time and a bar and bistro at night. I think it is a bit of a hidden gem- my niece was late in coming for coffee one day and the lady behind the counter just made another cafe latte without even asking anything. She was very attentive and kind and refused payment for it. Sensible service like that is extremely hard to come by and will make me be a repeat customer. If you want a quiet little place to met for a coffee or just have some down time on your own then this is the place. Cheers.

Would love to give this place a 5 star review. The reason for this is that the staff are lovely, the atmosphere was amazing, and the restaurant it's self was beautiful, however the food was below home cooking, we left hungry. If the food was good this would be a great spot in Dronfield.

Our second visit in as many weeks! Lovely food, staff excellent and the music added to the atmosphere. Owners were so friendly. No rush and added bonus of a Cuban singer. Especial thanks to Sarah who remembered us from previous visit. Menu has plenty of variety but concise enough that is is well cooked and freshly prepared. Can’t recommend it highly enough.

Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff, good food. Nice and airy, dog friendly. What more could you ask for.

Visited here on Friday night the food was excellent, we had a lamb dish chicken and chorizo also had prawns excellent service from the 2 young waiters the only thing what spoiled it was an old man who hovered over us constantly and it then took him over 20 minutes to add up our bill, hopefully next time it might be his day off

We just enjoyed a fabulous Tapas meal at Casa Latina. The waiter welcomed us to our table and efficiently took our drinks order and later our food order. The staff are attentive, efficient and well dressed in black which is always a good sign of an excellent establishment. The food came that came out from the kitchen was superb. Every hot dish was hot and cooked perfectly. I always judge a tapas restaurant from the quaiity of the meatballs and these were perfect. Nice and dense and full of flavour with a rich sauce. The Gambas (King Prawns) were delicious and the chef had butterflied each one which you rarely see done. A very nice touch. Just the right amount of garlic and you defintely don't feel short changed with the amount of prawns. We also had Empanadas de pollo and they were delicious, filled with plenty of The portions were generous. We had 6 dishes between 2 and was about right with a few picking dishes to start.

We visited here as a family meal, food was very tasty and plentiful. We ordered six tapas dishes for two people and there was enough for us both. Very nice we will return at some point.

Had the most amazing experience at this spot. The food was amazing and the customer service was top notch. The owners were amazing people and so friendly, they made our night. if I could give this restaurant more than 5* I would. Would definitely recommend.

You may be suspicious, a Latin place in a small village in Derbyshire. Don’t be. Amazing food, great atmosphere, lovely hostess. Highly recommend. The mushroom goats cheese was a particular delight.

This place is an absolute gem! The food was so flavourful and fresh, and the prices are very affordable. The service was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable, and I loved the music - perfect place for a night out with your partner or a celebration with friends! I highly recommend Casa Latina!

Made the effort to visit yesterday with my wife to find it was a private party and quickly told to leave..no signs outside informing the public or any notification on this site. Poor show and wont be getting any business from me or family. Dont bother .....
