Lovely, delicious food and drinks, nice staff.

An excellent lunch for our party of ten people. Will be back for dinner next time so we can imbibe a glug or two of Italian red.

Food and drinks are delicious, but portions quite small and not all menu items available. Service is friendly and helpful but forgetting - said to come back in 2 minutes to take our order and disappeared. Good central location, vintage atmosphere and clean well-stocked amenities 👍

The setting was lovely and the staff attentive but there are no excuses for over pricing of this magnitude. The vegetarian menu in particular was ludicrous. £30 for a cauliflower steak is outrageous and totally unjustified as it was neither inventive nor particularly well executed. There are plenty of restaurants in London offering inventive and delicious vegetarian and vegan food for a fraction of the price. You should only consider charging this amount if you can deliver something exceptional.

I would love to be able to review the actual food but unfortunately after 3 hours and multiple phone calls it did not arrive until 30 minutes after we called and cancelled and started cooking....

When in Stamford we love to go to Frothys for breakfast, usually have full English which is great but this time we fancied a change and we had the scrambled eggs, black pudding and mushrooms ,absolutely fantastic. Staff and owner very friendly Will be back

No 1 Kitchen in Stamford absolutely blew us away! From the moment we walked in, the super friendly welcome set the tone for an unforgettable experience. The space is quirky and funky, oozing character and making every moment feel special. 😍 The drinks menu is fantastic, offering a refreshing mix of creative cocktails and classic choices that perfectly complement the vibe of the place. But let’s talk about the food – it was next-level! One of us had the signature burger, and it was nothing short of remarkable. And the Brie burger? So, so tasty that we couldn’t stop raving about it. 🍔🧀 Every detail, from the ambience to the food and drink, was thoughtfully curated to deliver an amazing dining experience. We'd been kindly treated to a meal voucher at Knead venue as a Christmas present so thought we'd enjoy an early Valentine's meal at Paten & Co, where we haven't been before. We booked an early table and were seated on the first floor. It's such a beautiful building and we'd not realised how big it is on the inside, total Tardis! We were also delighted to take advantage of the free bottle of wine offer, meaning we had a very good value for money meal out. We started with cocktails - a P*rnstar Martini for me and a spicy Margherita for my other half. Both delicious. Starters were also great - loved the whipped Brie especially. Mains also excellent, I asked for my chicken in a box without the bun and that's why it perhaps doesn't look as pretty as it might otherwise, but it was all so tasty. Service was really friendly and prompt without feeling rushed. We'd definitel visit again.

We have been here a number of occasions but this time the service was terrible. We had to wait ages to give our food order and the waitress wasn’t particularly friendly. Waited 45 minutes for our breakfast even though other people had arrived after had their food before ours. Once our food arrived the lady said they were doing another egg as the one on my plate was over cooked even though we had to wait ages. No apology. Won’t be returning again.

This was our first visit and we were met with a very friendly welcome by the lady behind the bar. The food is cooked fresh by the equally friendly chef. I had beef lasagne with chips and salad, my husband had Bang Bang Chicken with Rice. Both were delicious. We will definitely eat here again.

There’s an argument that you shouldn’t recommend good place as next time you come there are no free tables. Saying that the bacon sandwich was the best I have had in a long time and the pancakes fresh and cooked to perfection. We’ll be back!

A lot of pastry on Cornish pasty, heard a few swear words from behind in an accent, but I guess it was a bit busy. I was a little concerned, the front team were good. Coffee was nice a bit upset having to pay for a small sachet of brown sauce. I went to the toilet the corner was mucky behind the tap.

Love it here - they always cram as much in as possible! Great value. ...and the pork and stuffing sandwich, Christ!
