The most wonderful pizza and such an authentic experience in the heart of Stamford . Celebrated my birthday here and we had a lovely evening.

A lovely sunny day to sit outside and have pizza! The pizza was superb, tasty toppings with an authentic base. Service was excellent - polite, swift, and enthusiastic. We were sat near the drinks booth and watching the staff making drinks added to the ambiance. Superb late lunch. Highly recommend.

Absolutely top class beautiful tasty pizza and food! Just like being in Italy! Great setting and surroundings, had a day out to Stamford (we are from Norfolk) and I googled this place beforehand, they did not disappoint! Service was great and staff super friendly and with a smile! Drinks were nice and very reasonable price for the whole meal! Highly recommended!

Fabulous evening! A great welcome from the manager, Julio and the service throughout the evening was super friendly and helpful with the explanation of the menu choices. Such a great atmosphere and fun vibe there… the food was delicious with a great choice. Great value for money and we will be sure to go back for more. Thank you.

Lovely small but friendly pizza place. Was surprised, after seeing the large outdoor space, that inside it only has 8 tables, that wasn’t a problem and I would love to return in the summer to enjoy the outside eating area.

We visited this little gem to say farewell to some friends visiting from Scotland. Staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive. We sat down, ordered drinks, quickly followed by mains. When the meals arrived they were perfect ! Great pizzas, amazing chips and staff so happy it was infectious. After the meal was over we paid up and left to continue on our night. Approximately 45 minutes later I had a phone call from my father stating that I had left my wallet at the restaurant and a staff member had hand delivered it back to my family home. This sealed the whole experience as a highly recommended meal and evening out.

Great pizza, sat outside in the sun. Staff were in a hurry, if they had been a little more laid back it would have been a great experience. Good value for money, would eat there again.

Ordered a takeaway from here and was asked to wait 50 mins before the order was ready for collection was happy for that as it meant we could have a beer while waiting for it to be ready on collection and dishing up it was not really hot and it tasted like it had been ready for quite a while and left to one side while I ran the clock down to pick up time a real shame as it completely ruined the pizzas! Didn’t query it! Just won’t return

Had these pizzas a few times, very good, albeit a bit wet in the middle if too many toppings. However each time we have been we have noticed that because the place is so small, they store stock in the dining area. Nothing wrong with that, quite decorative actually. But the only tins of tomatoes on shelves are Strianeses Peeled tomatoes. It says on label of large tin what they are. No San Marzano tomato stock in sight. So why on every pizza description do they state they use San Marzano? With no pasta on the menu I cant imagine these other tomatoes being used for anything other than their pizza sauce. Why lie? Change your menu descriptions to reflect what you are serving! They are delicious as they are!

Da Mario’s has been recommended to us by many people so we called in this evening having reserved an inside table. The atmosphere was great, very busy, lively and the staff attentive and helpful. Our food was delicious, best pizzas in Stamford. We really enjoyed our evening. Thank you

The staff were quick, attentive and very friendly. From being seated to being served, to asking for additional black pepper, the bill... couldn't fault the service. We were served by 3 separate staff members, but everything ran smoothly and was great on that front. Pizzas were delightful. Just the right size and the tomato base was gorgeous. Prices were very reasonable. It makes you wonder why people pay £20+ for a pizza from Domino's, when you can buy this for less than half that price. We ate outside, and whilst the tables were quickly wiped down and made ready for new diners once others left, just some general TLC could go a long way. I get that it's *outside*, and you can't help the weather or the elements. But before opening (or maybe after closing every night), could you stack the chairs on the tables, get a wide brush, and dust off the patio area? We were sat in a corner and the amount of dead leaves, debris and bird poo that had accumulated was just a bit irritating. I don't mind chucking my handbag on the floor (it's certainly not a posh one), but I didn't want to put it in a pile of damp leaves and other detritus. Please note that this is the tiniest, most niggling complaint however. It would not stop me returning and I would absolutely encourage other people to eat here. We will definitely be back when we're next in Stamford.

Pizza was good but lacked flavour. Dough underwhelming. Wallpaper glue like base. To rub salt into my wounds we were made to wait over an hour for our pizza even though table was pre-booked for our group. On asking about the delay the waiter said that there had been a large amount that of takeaway orders which were taking priority over restaurant orders. Disappointing.

Lovely restaurant in middle of stamford, lots of outdoor seating under cover. Food was amazing, made freshly with high quality ingredients. Great service and reasonably priced. Will be going back there again.

I’ve visited here more times than I should admit and couldn’t recommend more. If it’s sunny and you can get a table outside, do so. There isn’t normally a long wait and they will serve you drinks whilst you’re queuing. The best pizza I’ve had...
