I travelled 25 minutes each way to collect this takeaway after recommendations and reviews.. WoW what can I say the food was stunning fresh, hot, soo flavoursome I have already recommended to other family a friends it is well worth even if your further away. I will be back again very soon 👊🏻

We travel up from London to see family and have visited twice now... Both times made large orders without notice. Parking is super easy. The service is friendly and funny... Like visiting family. The food is cooked with love.... Fish, chicken, patties, coleslaw, veg, callaloo all cooked to perfection. They know what they are doing! You can also see that the place is kept clean and tidy. We will be back! Thanks for looking after us!

I mean it is a £7 pizza - whats not to like. Friendly and efficient service too.

Absolutely awful do not buy from them, we excepted the food to be good considering the price and awards they have received. (We had large chips, a fish, 3 fish cakes, curry sauce and peas: cost us between £30-£40) How they have the awards I will never know as the chips were all dry and all 5 of us left them. The fish was thin ate more batter than fish. We aren’t particularly fussy with quality of food but having to really chew the chips and eat just batter really did push our limits. Waste of money will be sure to never go again and tell others not to either. We went years ago and it was lovely but it has really gone downhill and I wouldn’t even pay £3 for what we received today. It was so bad we have had to go out to another chip shop and buy from there as none of us really took more than a few bites of the food from Cod Scallop.

Food is good but service has really let them down lately. We've had orders take 40 mins as opposed to 20 mins for collection... Items invariably always get missed, meaning is having to go back and wait for these to be made whilst food gets cold. Customer facing staff seemed to be used to this as the norm and don't really acknowledge the sub par service. Also, understand cost of living etc but certain items price increases don't make much sense to me. Was a great local spot but going to leave it a while before ordering again.

Very disappointed with my second visit to Mr man's. Constantly asked if we are ready to order. Starters were given out without correct explanation meaning someone ate someone else's starter so had to wait for another one to be prepared. My ribs starter wasn't even ribs, it was battered chunks of grisly meat. They missed a main meal, which would have been remedied sooner if they came to check. When it arrived the only apology was a joke that they didn't want to serve it raw. Value for money was terrible, i will not be back.

Been going to Wollaton Fish & Chip bar for over 30 years. We would never go anywhere else. They ate delicious and very generous portions

Pizza deals are good and love the garlic sauce but please learn some customer service skills. I’ve never once come in and had a smile or even asked “can I help?”. Always stood there talking away and just hand you a pizza. You could walk away with anyone’s food, they really don’t have a care in the world. Sort your faces out please 🙏
