I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience here was disappointing enough to warrant one. The food was shockingly underwhelming — bland, poorly prepared, and definitely not worth the steep prices they charge. For what I paid, I expected at least fresh ingredients and some attention to flavor, but what I got felt more like a rushed afterthought than a proper meal. I won't order again.

I flew all the way from Australia to England just to eat at this restaurant — and it exceeded every expectation. From the moment I walked in, the aroma alone told me I was in for something special. The atmosphere strikes that perfect balance between cosy and refined, with warm lighting, friendly staff, and the kind of buzz that comes from a kitchen doing everything right. Now the food — incredible. Every dish was a masterclass in flavour and authenticity. The butter chicken was rich and velvety, the lamb rogan josh fell apart with a spoon, and the garlic naan was so perfectly blistered I’d come back just for that. Spices were bold without overpowering, and everything tasted freshly prepared with real care. Special mention to the house-made chutneys and the mango lassi — both unforgettable. You know a meal is extraordinary when you’ve crossed hemispheres for it and are already thinking about your next visit. If you’re in the UK (or even if you’re not) — make this place your next destination.

Brilliant service from our waiter Zikora.

We travel up from London to see family and have visited twice now... Both times made large orders without notice. Parking is super easy. The service is friendly and funny... Like visiting family. The food is cooked with love.... Fish, chicken, patties, coleslaw, veg, callaloo all cooked to perfection. They know what they are doing! You can also see that the place is kept clean and tidy. We will be back! Thanks for looking after us!

Great deals great pizza and great staff

Got a takeaway, cooked to order. They use beef dripping which is fab, not seed oils. Nice crispy batter, well cooked chips. Make their own tartare sauce(not tangy enough) and ketchup (too sweet). Try their Monday deal, £6 fish n chips n a drink.

Ordered at 8 pm, arriving 8.50pm granted 10 minutes here or there for delivery. It's now 9..22. It's still not here, and the staff explained it's just eats driver issues. Because a driver hasn't been assigned just yet. I was informed the food was ready and sat on a hot plate since 9 pm. Can't wait to see the standard of this order , probably going to be cold. It's now 9.30. And not here. 9.38 arrived surprise Surprise it's freezing cold. From reading other reviews the owner blames the delivery provider, surely if that's the problem the owner should get a better delivery service. £40 wasted thanks Burg burgers. Please don't waste your money.

First ever time visiting and everyone was accommodating from start to finish. This was to celebrate my daughters 16th birthday n was 7 of us. We ordered from the apertiser menu, to maximise trying different foods, why waiting n looking round it was impeccable, clean, decor was on point, Foods arrive rather quickly n table filled up... Best ingredients used and cooked to perfection. Nothing was to much troubles for staff if you wanted anything to order they made sure it was as asked for... menu choices were incredible and had gluten free and nut free options and vegan too. So anyone with food prefences are most covered and accommodated. Best time was had by all our party . Staff was attentive checking that we was OK. They even sang happy birthday with us to my daughter... Thank you Mr Man's for making it a memorable visit If I had to say one negative thing I'd say I needed music for ambience of Chinese sounds
