I will start with a positive, our young server was amazing and the drinks were lovely, I wish I had taken his name. The rest of it wasn't a good experience for my sons birthday meal. The 2 T Bone steaks ordered were raw and chewy, chips and all the sides cold. I had to laugh at the garlic mushrooms, looked like they were from a tin and warmed up in some garlic butter. The Mediterranean veg looked like it had been half eaten and we didn't touch it. I had a fillet steak, which was raw and I couldn't finish, but this time we were tired of complaining so didn't. To be fair they knocked off the T Bones off the bill but it was still really expensive. Never again Miller and Carter.

Sarks was very polite and professional, we will be coming again soon.

Had a wonderful meal at Miller and Carter Wollaton all thanks to our fantastic waiter Adam and lovely bar staff! The restaurant was very busy when we were there (Saturday 25th January) but Adam still made us feel special and made the slight wait for the food seem not so bad. The man who served me my drink at the bar (sorry didn’t get his name) was also lovely and made sure to serve me first when someone tried to jump the queue as he knew I’d been waiting longer. Thank you Adam and the bar staff!

The food was lovely. Our waiter was so pleasant and efficient. One thing, we were given soup spoons for our pudding (which was a very small thing). Otherwise, superb. Lovely crockery, cutlery and glassware. Would havae preferred a proper napkin. Ambience good. Nice and airy interior. Plenty of elbow room. Would have liked to see a specials board, but hey, I suppose most people would opt for steak. (I had sea bass).

Seb was our server and he was brilliant so kind and so good at his job! Thanks Seb for a great evening you were brilliant

I can be quite particular about dining out, especially when venturing to a new place and spending a bit more. However, my concerns were unfounded this time. The service was outstanding thank you Aneta, the wait times were brief, the food was fantastic, and the atmosphere was quite pleasant. I highly recommend trying the squid, even if you're not typically a fan – it's a unique experience that's definitely worth a try! Enjoy your meal!

We had a server called Adam at the wollaton restaurant who was an absolute gem. He was very welcoming and helped us out when it was needed. In the past we had a server who wasn’t the nicest which made us not enjoy our meal. However, Adam went above and beyond to make our stay that little bit more special.

Went for dinner on Saturday after returning from a great week away in Tenerife. It was so busy but from start to finish it was fantastic food service were great and we will absolutely be back again soon. Thankyou

Absolutely unpleasant experience I don’t understand how a restaurant can be so full of staff and yet no one to actually sit guests down. Why have a booking system if there is no one to actually take guests to their seats. Never coming back to the steak house in nottingham ever again.

We had an amazing time for my wife’s birthday. Great location and phenomenal steaks. We were served by Myles who was super friendly, helpful which made our evening even better.

My first - and probably my last - visit to M&C fell far short of my expectations. Reading the majority glowing reviews here, and with recommendations from friends, I can't believe I'm writing this. We dined here to celebrate my wife's birthday and left not only disappointed but actually quite annoyed. Both of us chose from the Rare Treats menu, I upgraded and went for the sirloin and my Mrs opted for fish & chips. Our starters (chipotle chicken bites and cauliflower wings) were good, and the fish & chips were fine but my steak was a disaster. Firstly, it arrived cold. I sent it back and the one that replaced it was worse. I take my steak medium but the replacement was blue to rare, so that went back as well. If the first steak was injury, the second one just added insult. I don't know if the chef was offended by having the first one returned, but this one seemed to imply that he or she had been. Wait-on staff tried their best but at this point my confidence in the kitchen was destroyed so we finished our drinks and my wife finished her main, and we got the bill, which was discounted to the point that effectively covered the cost of my starter.

The best experience we’ve ever had at a restaurant! The food was absolutely delightful, best steak ever and the crème brûlée was spectacular!! And our server Myles was very kind and funny, made us feel super welcome with it being our first time there. And because it was a birthday meal they gave me a free brownie sample with a candle on top ❤️ definitely going again in the future!!! ❤️❤️❤️

booked in advance for my son's birthday - 18th Jan 2025 - it was so busy - no place to stand let alone sit down and wait for your table to be ready - we waited 30 minutes in the cold doorway before we walked away. People in front had been waiting for over 45 mins. won't bother again - let down

We visited tonight after receiving a voucher for Christmas. The food was amazing, I had a Ribeye steak, and it was so full of flavour. It was very busy, but Adam, our waiter, was very attentive, and we really couldn't fault the service we received. We will definitely be back!

Very overpriced and steak did not look like a 300grm steak. At £33.50 for that it was a rip off. Peppercorn sauce was basically tasteless out of a packet. They don't make much fresh on the premesis. Deserts are boight fro. Supplier. Gaucho this place certainly isn't.

I don't do reviews.. But this place deserves it! We went to celebrate my friends birthday on the 6th of January and we couldn't be happier about the experience. From the beginning till the end all the team was fabulous and made us feel welcome and special. They did a great recommendation so if you are indecisive like me, this is a plus! Food and dessert were amazing worth the price. We wanted to have some memories from the night and the team even direct us to the good spots to take pictures 📷 truly felt at home. We visited on the 18th December for lunch, I had been a few months before but found that some things were of the menu. This was a little disappointing because I don't eat meat and the fish and veggie options were quite limited. I had the Crown Prince salad as a main and It was a little boring, the people that I was with had steaks and they did enjoy their meal. The setting is good and very relaxing.

Freezing cold restaurant all the customers were with the coats on so rude service as well. We went there with the little kid so we didn’t have a chance to live our little boy it was starving. the restaurant temperature it was -0 I have never experienced that! Never! Omg no much to say about the food cold steaks rushing to have are food with are jacked on. We have spent 150£ not worthy. When the bill come and we didn’t left any service to our server because she didn’t deserved, what unlikely even the service it was so rude. We ask her if it’s any problem with the hitting she said that it’s to cold out side that why it’s cold in side. All the Air conditioners there where off for all the time that we were there. The worst worst experience ever!
