My family and I recently enjoyed a delightful dinner at Miller and Carter Wollaton. The restaurant's newly refurbished decor was simply stunning, providing an inviting atmosphere to dine in. My husband and I ordered steak for our entree, which was cooked to absolute perfection. Our daughter opted for fish fingers and fries, which were equally delicious. But what truly made our experience special was the exceptional service we received from Aneta. She went above and beyond to attend to our every need, even taking extra care to ensure that our daughter's multiple allergies were accommodated. Aneta's attention to detail and kindness truly made us feel valued and appreciated as guests. Our daughter was especially thrilled to be treated like royalty, receiving coloring activities and even dairy-free passion fruit ice cream that she couldn't stop raving about. Overall, we had a fantastic time at Miller and Carter Wollaton and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a delicious meal and top-notch service.

Seb served us tonight, I understand it was his first day. He was polite, courteous and well informed. He apologised for not being quick on the iPad but all in all he did well.

Weird wedge salad tasty but in a bowl was difficult to eat. The steaks we received were luke warm and went cold quickly. I had a tastier warmer steak from The Bulls head Breaston yesterday!! For a fraction of the cost

We visited early Friday evening and at that time the restaurant wasn't busy. As we were on our way to an event we did not want a special meal and so, looking at the beautiful menu, we decided on a simple steak and fries each and decided that we would return another time when we could do one if the other options justice. The staff were very polite and our waiter (Sartis/Sarfis) very good. My husband, who usually prefers medium rare steaks, ordered medium as that was the suggested way his steak should be cooked. I also ordered medium as that is my preference. We were quite surprised when the salad came immediately and the steaks came within 10 minutes of ordering. We were even more surprised when both steaks were VERY rare, seared only minimally on the outside and very bloody in the middle. My husband could eat his like that, but I couldn't and had to ask for it to be cooked more. When it came back, it was ok, but (the same steaks, which was fine were) still medium rare at best. It was quite clear from the time it took from the waiter taking our order to us getting the meal that the steaks had been very undercooked and had not been rested for even a minute. It would not have been possible given the quick turnaround time to cook them to medium and rest them appropriately. We did accidentally get another fries with my retuned meal, but all that was said by what appeared to be the front of house person who returned my meal was "Oh look you've got extra chips now, hope that's better" before walking away. The whole meal still cost over £60 for something that I've had better in my local pub and it was disappointing that my husband had to watch me eat with him having finished. We also felt very awkward as we could see from the reaction of the 3 people standing chatting at the pass that we were clearly just awkward customers. From going in the door to leaving took 50 minutes! Given that it was not massively busy, we are not sure why the cooking of the steak was very rushed. We really now can't decide whether to try it again, as we are torn between the great reviews and spending £150 on an expensive steak only to be disappointed. Was the lack of care because we had ordered the cheaper option? Who knows? Either way, a disappointment.

We visit M&C every year for my husband's birthday. The food is exceptional, the staff is professional and friendly. I have asked for a quiet larger table as my husband loves a bit of a butchers block feast for his birthday celebration, the staff was extremely accommodating. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner, as we always do. Steak was cooked to perfection and dessert was delicious I can’t remember when I had a cheesecake tasting this good last time. Keep doing great job and we will visit soon.

The food was really nice, everybody told me how good the steak was and didn't disappoint, table arrangement could do with a look at as there's limited space to pull a chair out unless in a booth

Had a lovely evening at this Miller and Carter - atmosphere was great, restaurant was tidy and well presented. All the staff were friendly and helpful, our server Sheron was wonderful, very chatty and polite and nothing was too much. Will definitely be back.

Booked a table for five for a birthday meal. All the food was excellent, particularly the rump steak on the fixed price menu enjoyed by my wife and I. The meals took a long time to appear though, about an hour.

Excellent restaurant offering a really great service and setting. The food we had was excellent (ranging from a filet mignon through sea bass and a meal made up of starters and sides) and the service really friendly (thanks, Danika). If you aren’t there for the steaks the mains are a little limiting and veggie options aren’t great (perhaps not a surprise) so drop a star on food but overall we’ve been a couple of times now and expect to go again.

We had table booked for our anniversary and our booking was at 7pm, we were there at 7.20pm and parking space wasn’t available and took us 10 mins to park as well, afterwards waited at the door for staff 10 mins and they told us our table is no longer available. It was very rude and disappointing experience.

Very grown up type atmosphere here Ambience is calm and quiet Food is exceptional but it isn't cheap but you know that it isn't going to be from the branding and the class and style of the building and decor through to the he menu. Would visit again for a treat, date night or special event or occasion. Staff were friendly and welcoming as well And very accommodating for tables available booking and walk ins.
