The best restaurants in Bridge Nottingham East Midlands

What a lovely place! We went out to celebrate my son's 9th birthday and couldn't have asked for better experience. We have been greeted by a lovely waitress, smiling and very nice. Nothing was too much for her. The food was really nice, we have ordered 2 artisan pizzas, risotto and childs menu (which was very decent size), all was very tasty. Tiramisu and brownies for dessert - probably one of the best brownies we ever had. The manager was great too, went an extra mile to make my boy's birthday even more special. Would definitely recommend.

From outside this looks like a cosy traditional Italian trattoria, however a very different story once inside, old ,tired and scruffy. The toilets are a disgrace. Wonder what the kitchen is like? Only came here because a friend wanted an Italian meal for her birthday, however I should have followed my instinct and suggested we go elsewhere. Food absolutely horrendous, pizza frozen, prawn tagliatelle had 4 prawns in a watery tasteless sauce, have had better lasagne from Iceland. The man who I presume is the owner could do with learning some hospitality skills, and not hover around looking moody an unwelcoming. This is the worst restaurant I have ever had the misfortune to dine in. To be avoided at all costs. Would highly recommend Dino''s on Warser Gate, only about 200 metres away .

The staff were welcoming from the street to the bar. Nice weather, so sat outside and struck up a few conversations with others which made for quite an interesting afternoon. A kind of oldy worldy English pub, right in the middle of town. Definitely worth a visit.

We had a situation where we ordered off of uber eats but the delivery did not come, we ended up coming down to the restaurant and the nice lady there helped us and although Uber refused to reimburse us, Miss Korea decided to reimburse us out of kindness. I have been coming here for a while now and love the food every time!! Huge fan!

Vinimos a almorzar el día de Nueva York y había llamado por adelantado y me dieron la bienvenida. Comemos MUCHO. Es un pasatiempo. De todas formas, me sentí más como si hubiera vagado en un evento familiar como + 1 , así de amable y acogedor era el personal. Fueron conversacionales, muy amables con nuestros hijos, nos dieron recomendaciones personalizadas sobre lo que era genial pedir. El servicio fue tan grande, fue memorable y como dije, comemos mucho. ¡Gracias por un encantador almuerzo de un día en Nueva York con nuestros hijos!

The lady at the reception, 9pm roughly on weekends was extremely rude, disrespectful and not at all calm while taking order. We took a dine in option but after speaking to her we changed our mind and changed it to take away. She definitely ruined our mood.

Tuve otro magnífico almuerzo dominical en The Sun, esta vez de Navidad. Fue fantástico, todos los adornos, muy sabroso, excelente presentación y excelente relación calidad-precio. Una experiencia encantadora disfrutada por todos. Complementos para Michael el chef, Garry, Simon y el equipo. Me alegro de ver que The Sun está bien. 😊 Dale una oportunidad, no te decepcionará.

Good food, good value for money

For a Tuesday dinner time, it was full. Staff polite helpful and curtious. We were served promptly. Was very impressed. Clean and tidy, and tables cleaned straight away, not left

Stayed with a sports team for three night found the staff and hotel excellent. Special mention to Niamh (breakfasts) and Tony (evening meals) for being extremely efficient and polite and attentive.

Loved every moment on a Saturday evening and came back Sunday for lunch
