Fantastic place for toddlers to play and parents to chat. I’ve never known my busy 20 month old be so absorbed in equipment before. It’s easy to keep an eye on your child with clear sight lines while you enjoy a drink and food.

Super little cafe, excellent breakfast, very good value and lovely ingredients lovingly prepared for a hearty breakfast.

Called in here for a take away cob one Saturday lunch,very friendly service and our order was quickly made up,one Ham salad and one cheese and onion,both were delicious with quality ingredients,this will be our lunch shop from now on.

Beautiful visit here for a jacket potato and cake not long ago. Food was delicious! Can’t wait for an icecream in the warmer months! Absolute gem of a place

Exceptional dinning experience. The depth and combination of flavours of the meal was some of best I have had. Lovely atmosphere with staff that put you at ease and made the whole visit a pleasure.

Coming to this pub was our second attempt. We like craft beer and we tend to visit different pubs with such options. The prices of some beers are shocking and have to admit that it is not as worthy. I had better elsewhere for a better price. A dark stout (if I'm not wrong) tastes like diluted with water. The pub has definitely a unique atmosphere. It feels a bit stuffed there with no air circulation at all. We might come back, but it won't be our first option on the time-out.

This place is a little gem! Dropped in on a wet Wednesday and was told about their latest creation, The Cuban Sandwich with Mojo sauce. Wow! It’s got, ham, pulled pork, cheese, pickles, mustard, and I don’t know what else! But it was simply delicious. All the elements combined beautifully to create this culinary masterpiece. The coffees were great too. I also love their attention to detail, everything was beautifully presented and the take-away packaging is environmentally friendly. If I pass through Newark again, I’ll definitely make a bee-line for The Loft.

Great place for a few drinks, not tried the food yet as only stopped in for one drink but it looked and smelled great when I saw other people ordering

Menu requires you to be an expert in not so popular Indian food. Pricy. Staff were very nice though. The actual food was a 6/10. Outside screams something different, inside it was rather basic.

I popped in the Happy Sundaes on Thursday after seeing a advert in the Free Newark Magazine. I had a Crepe with Lemon and Sugar and a cup of tea. The Crepe was delicious and red hot. Soaked in Lemon and Sugar. I will definitely be back . A.C

We dined here on a Friday evening before a show. The food was absolutely delicious and piping hot. The service was attentive and it was all reasonably priced. We will definitely return.

The taste is excellent, and the Thai stir-fry is delicious. It will satisfy those who love Thai food. I have tried many Thai restaurants in the UK, and this one has the most wok flavor. The price is reasonable and the decoration is beautiful. The downside is that there is no parking at the entrance, so you need to park at a nearby supermarket, which is a nine-minute walk away. Moreover, there are no Thai drinks available, which is a pity.

I have travelled from huntsville Alabama on the recommendation of my brother to try out this authentic Mexican food and I must say… The beef was tender, moist and incredibly flavourful. The cheese inside was almost fluffy. It was so delicate and melted to the perfect consistency. The spice level was immaculate. The beans on top were just a perfect addition to an already perfect collection of ingredients. 9.6/10 best quesadilla I have ever had

Proper jackets, nice staff, great portions - perfect. We used to get jackets from this place around 30 years ago, and they’re still as good as I remember them! 🥔🧀
