Loft in Newark and Sherwood

This place is a little gem! Dropped in on a wet Wednesday and was told about their latest creation, The Cuban Sandwich with Mojo sauce. Wow! It’s got, ham, pulled pork, cheese, pickles, mustard, and I don’t know what else! But it was simply delicious. All the elements combined beautifully to create this culinary masterpiece. The coffees were great too. I also love their attention to detail, everything was beautifully presented and the take-away packaging is environmentally friendly. If I pass through Newark again, I’ll definitely make a bee-line for The Loft.

My friend had booked this restaurant as was new and liked supporting local businesses. We booked for lunch and wasn’t disappointed. The menu was filled with lots of choices from breakfast, open sandwiches, chips, salads, sweet items. The food we had was amazing, I had goats cheese stack(open sandwich with salad and mango chutney), served with rosemary chips. It was very yummy and a very good portion. Loft is a very nice little place and would highly recommend.

Called in here on a day visit to Newark-on-Trent and was highly satisfied with our Cream Tea. Efficient service and staff and beautifully presented.

I have been for breakfast ,lunch and coffee with my niece a couple of times now excellent service (in these strange times ) the food is well presented ,fresh and delicious and the array of drinks ,and milkshakes fab .great value for money

I visited the loft today treating my husband for late lunch I had booked the table we was greeted with a smile and table was ready . The menu had lots to choose from when the food came it looked and tasted delicious so if you want to eat in a upper class place everything was perfect friendly staff specialy laura who served us well worth a visit.

Have visited several times and can't fault quality of the food - beautifully presented and tasty - a really nice fancy breakfast - only one request - to put more hot water in teapot please as it only really serves one small cup size - but thanks for our breakfast today, served outside where by-passers admired the food also !

First time in this smart, little cafe. Staff were very friendly and helpful. They do a lovely range of toasted-type sandwiches, usually with small, herby roast potatoes. We had the Spicy Tuna Melt and a Sweet Bacon, Brie and Sweet Chiil Sauce toastie. Both were plenty big enough and also delicious. Would highly recommend a visit
