The best restaurants in Mansfield East Midlands

Visited on St Patrick's day. Would not recommend. Very unsavory welcome. The bar maid was more interested in her phone than finishing pouring my pint of Guinness (it had settled a minute prior) Then the karaoke speakers were overly loud and distorted, we try to raise the issue and they give us hassle, and deliberately raise the volume to cause us discomfort. The karaoke staff were not friendly. If anything the woman looked us up and down like we were dirt. Then we get told if we don't like it go somewhere else. I didnt have the choice of where to go, my mother flew in from Ireland and this is where the group was. We get heckled and laughed at when I walk off. (I'm autistic and the volume was causing me discomfort, the entire pub was distorted) Would definitely no recommend! If anything I want this issue to be addressed. There was no need for the volume to be that loud in the first place, and no need to raise the volume if we tell them it's distorted and causing discomfort. Really am seriously upset with the way we were treated here. Like I say, I didn't have the choice of place, it was where the group was at the time. Would not recommend.

The best Chinese in the area. The food is delicious the service is great and the delivery drivers are a credit to the golden bridge. Highly recommend 👌

Order was wrong delivery was longer than estimated and food was cold. Rip off not impressed

Ellie was very helpful serving me today and assisting with menus and guiding me to the golden eagle website to use the allergen filter. She was very friendly and always smiling. Would 100% be returning and recommending to friends and family.

Since the new owners took over the Sea queen is worth a visit. The batter is amazing, the fish is fresh and the chips are really good. The small cod is the length of a dinner plate so not really that small!

Ordered our food took 1 hour 20mins to arrive missing part of my order ,phoned them up they said get it out to me straight away ,40mins later I phoned still no missing food ,all they said was there busy ,not good enough ,got customers money so not bothered about customers ,burgers was cold on arrival ,still waiting for missing food 4 hours later ,never go to this place again

Never coming here again ordered last night from here and we’ve ordered quite a few times for here .. ordered a pizza .. woke up this morning and my partner and I had sickness a diarrhoea..had to phone in sick I was feeling that bad ..never coming here again!

Always order here. Food is lovely. They make changes where we have asked. They forgot to send drinks tonight but quickly redelivered them We will keep ordering Oriental Delight

Went to Swan for a couple drinks with the boys, got served by a staff member called Paige 10/10 service and very polite along with rest of the staff would recommend

Just not right, the food was undercooked and the food was cold yet they refused to replace and wanted me to buy more food. How it even makes sense, flabbergasted! Fraud

Terrible service . We waited nearly an hour for food to then be told certain items they had ran out ! The food was rubbish when it finally arrived .

Well, what can I say? First time ordering from King Chef and I must say I was pleasantly surprised. The food was fresh and hot. None of that glutinous after taste that you find in some Chinese meals. I'm over 70 and this was the best Chinese takeaway I've ever had. Will definitely order from them again. Thank you to the chef.
