Very good authentic Chinese foods, very tasty. A lot of flavours, also they sells coffee, bubble tea and ice cream on the side of take away which is bonus !!

Best Chinese takeaway in the area. Tasty food, fast & friendly service. We ordered online and it was ready in 20 minutes for collection. Very tasty food. Especially recommend the sweet and spur chicken and the salt and spicy chips

absolutely tasteless no vegatables & tinned pineapple we asked for plum sauce but they thought it be ok to just send it out in mountains of of soy sauce.. cheap tasting nasty meal..chicken chow mein & duck in plum sauce both just done in soy sauce. absolute rammel & cheeky to charge for it. will not go back there again.

Easily the very best takeaway in Mansfield. Website constantly fails. Shut at 9.30pm on a Saturday is complete rubbish. Had the best food ever from here for more than 20 years - sort out you service as currently it’s absolutely appalling

Used to be best Chinese in Mansfield and our local uts gone down hill and prices have gone up. Collection and food is soggy chips soggy chicken balls thick soggy batter and noodles sloppy very disappointed will try another one next time after being loyal for 4 years

Have used this place fairly regularly for over 10 years. The last five or six times I have ordered I have been really disappointed but have persevered as my other half likes a vegetarian option they do. I ordered over the phone tonight and stated that the food hadn’t been great the last few times I have ordered and got a polite “sorry about that” but no what was wrong ? How can we fix it ? response. So ordered as usual and got my meal within 20 mins when told an hour. Food was really poor again. Not sure what has happened but not the same food we used to enjoy from here.

Absolutely worst takeaway ive had. Our usual takeaway in ravenshead was closed so came here, never again. Spent £70 and at least half was inedible, chow mein was overcooked (dried noodles overboiled to the point of being slimy and oversoft beansprouts that were way past their best before date) ,sweet and sour chicken balls were way too pink for us to risk and never should a pancake roll smell like that, on a positive the curry sauce was lovely but you couldnt dunk a chip in it because there are no dentists to repair your teeth after attempting to eat them

We've used this takeaway for several years, always good service. Had some poor service from the home delivery service, we had to phone a couple of times as we seem to be waiting over two hours on a couple of occasions. Seems OK when you collect yourself.

I have used this place for many years now. They are always very busy which I guess is a clue in itself. The food is lovely, very well cooked and good quality. In all the years that I have been using them, they have never got the order wrong or been late. You get the impression that they are proud of what they have and do.

Disappointed, we used to order from here regularly but found a very nice chinese closer but they were on holiday, so we went back to golden Bridge. Very tasteless chowmein and the salt and pepper chips were very dry and boring. It wasn't horrible but it wasn't anything special. Sorry just being honest.

What a disaster. We placed an order by phone tonight. Ordered set meal D and some additional items. Over £110s worth of food, having family over for take out. Placed order at 6pm for 7pm delivery. The food came at 6.20pm. We had meal B not D. Food for 3 people. We called and after some discussion they agreed to bring meal D and the other items, take back the other food. They charged us twice for delivery and to add to their errors we were still missing an item, crispy beef. We just couldn't face another phone conversation. It's a shame because the food is good. The customer service needs some work.

I ordered online and it never came so I rang and ordered my food. My food came and it was incorrect, I rang to query it I spoke to a very rude owner who was shouting at me down the phone denying that I ever ordered the item when I know I did because I was embarrassed how to pronounce it and my fiend told me how to when speaking to them. The owners attitude to the whole situation was absolutely disgusting and put the phone down on me and did not deliver my food. Will never order again from them. There was no need to be spoken to like that

Cannot believe the poor quality tonight. Price up 50% and quality down 90%. Not the normal from Golden Bridge. Pancakes with duck all stuck together and cold. Thin strips of cucumber like door wedges. Prawn crackers soft.

Bubble tea is very good here, as are the sundaes etc. Have given the food a chance 3 times in the last year now and can say that it is very bland and disappointing I am sorry to say :( I hope that you can improve the quality and standards back to where you used to be, I know many people would appreciate it.

My go to takeaway for years and years. Have ordered from here so many times. Always good food infact great. Tonight. Wow. Awful. Chips undercooked and cold. Had to cook them ourselves. Pad Thai. Overboiled noodles in sweet chilli sauce? Actually Phoned and spoke to the manger about this this is not even remotely close to a pad Thai thought they had sent the wrong dish?! Chicken rubbery and tasteless. Chow Mein. Overcooked and ropey???? Also no prawn crackers? Honestly. This is my huge plea the owners. Sort it out. You are usually excellent. This was terrible. ☹️

The food is always spot on! I've never had a bad or incorrect meal from Golden Bridge and, it's always ready very quickly. When delivered, it's always hot on arrival.

Fantastic food. Little on the pricier side, but worth it. The meal was delivered earlier than suggested, that was a bonus.

We ordered from here for a family get together and phoned to pre order before opening Advised delivery would be within 90 mins … arrived within time frame We ordered £78 worth of food and it was all hot enough to eat and tasty with quality ingredients Most takeaways offer extras depending on amount spent we received prawn crackers but expected a bit more due to amount spent It was all eaten and complimented It is a more expensive takeaway but reflected in food

We collect a takeaway at least once a month ordered online. Food always of a good standard and staff very pleasant.

They missed food off our order again. We called to sort and were spoken to very rudely denying it. Our missing food wasn’t and still hasn’t been delivered. Avoid!

Needed a takeaway after a late night at work and have passed this place many times. In future I may stop many times. Ordered over the phone, collected 15 minutes later, and at home ate the nicest Chinese takeaway I have had in ages. Tasty, fresh and great service. Nothing else to say. Keep it up.

Used this Chinese Takeaway many times and tbf we’ve not had any issues. However, Tonight (28 Dec 2022) we’ve waited well over 2 1/2 hours for our food that hasn’t arrived. We then made a polite call to ask when our order would be delivered. We were then told that they were waiting for the delivery driver to return and that we would be next… (Does this mean the food had been cooked and was going cold 🤷🏼‍♂️) Another 20 mins later still no food … another phone call and still no explanation 0/10 Pathetic

I have been here many timeswhilst visiting my outlaws. Lovely food and regularly on time with the collection.

Been going here for years but no more the chips looked a week old no potato in them the curry sauce had a skin on it as if it had been stood along time their was 2 slithers of spring onion with the duck and it was stone cold it spoilt a good evening

2 hours 20 minutes for 3 milk teas to be delivered, yes, that’s 2 hours 20 minutes. And when you ring them to ask “oh it’s on it’s way” is all they can say. If you’re going to charge £4 for delivery, the least you can do is be on time!!! It’s not like you ordered a full blown meal. Add insult to injury, we ordered cold drinks, what we got was room temp. probably sat in the car for too long I presume 🙄

“Large” bag of chips was what any other chip shop would serve as small bag! And really disappointed that they were in fact oven chips 👎🏻 won’t be returning, much prefer Lin’s Fish Bar down the road!

Had a really nice takeaway, prompt and tasty, what more do you want.recent update tonight, just had a takeaway delivered with some prawn crackers as a freebee, please dont ever give prawn crackers away like that again, they were so stale, theres more crunch in a soiled dishcloth. Disgusting.

Used them for the first time yesterday & ordered from the website to have food delivered. Arrived within about 20 minutes which was fantastic the food was also excellent, will definitely use again.

Just got a takeaway from the Chinese had some sweet-and-sour chicken balls chicken was like Concrete had chicken curry also chicken very tough not a very good taste very disappointed I would not recommend also left Short chips

Just a heads up to the staff I don’t know what’s happened but the food today being Sunday 19th of June has taken a real dive to what it usually is with prices going up. Will try again at some point in the future

Great local Chinese take away, I always picking up - never had it delivered. Never had to wait more then 30 mins in normal periods, 60 mins during peak times. Normally order weekends. Great food and generous portions, never left hungry. Love the selection offered, broad and robust menus and even tried the new dessert selection too. It always seems really busy there and after 10yrs of my repeat business not had a bad experience. Keep up the good work! Great to have a local like this. I’ve not tried the online ordering yet, but great to see they have invested in different options to improve customer experience.

Shocking service tonight. We ordered a takeaway at 6.15 and was told it was 1 and half hour wait. Not a problem as we often have to wait. But when I rang them at 20.35 ( 2 and 20 minutes later) they said it would be at least another 15 minutes as it still wasn’t cooked and left the building. When I said we would cancel it because we’d gone past it by then. They didn’t care , just said “ that’s fine “ got the feeling they couldn’t give a damm!

I've been coming here for a few years now and I can definitely say it's the best Chinese I've had. It's slightly out of my way but always worth it. The staff are always friendly and happy to accommodate any of your food choices.

It was delicious, ordered king prawn Cantonese style, beef chow mein and chicken fried rice, and a couple of side orders the portions were large, hot and very tasty. The only thing was , it said online delivery time would be 40 mins, which gave us time for our friends to arrive and organise dri ns etc. The order arrived within 15 mins, which normally would be great, but it was very early.

We've always been to Golden Bridge for our Chinese takeaway anyway but the new cafe is absolutely amazing. I've never eaten so much ice cream!

Food came when they said it would be delivered, that being said 1 item was missing when I contacted them to inform them the woman I spoke to was very rude, called me a liar while laughing down the phone. Very poor customer service with a disgusting attitude towards customers. We will no longer be ordering from here again I wouldn’t even say it’s worth the 1 star I’ve given it

I would say Golden Bridge is the best Chinese Takeaway in Mansfield. They're great. The new Bubble Teas are fantastic too.

Fantastic coffee and milkshakes, Must try, recently opened definitely recommend. We had a biscotti Milkshake and an Americano coffee.

I ordered a takeaway from here ,went to collect got home and a dish was missing , phoned up, yeah no problem come and collect .I asked for it to be delivered? No sorry to busy.so off I went back in the bad weather .when I got there Instead of being greeted with an apology I was accused by the lady of lying and I had had the dish as she didn't make mistakes .I said I've got better things to be doing than driving backwards and forwards for a £5 dish and the rest of my meal that I wanted to sit and eat with my family was going cold .the man behind the counter then got a bit aggressive told me to take it and leave and he was doing me a favour this time .never used it again

Absolutely fantastic! Put in a good sized order online, opted to pay on collection. It was piping hot, really tasty food and felt completely safe Covid-wise throughout pick up. Just had another delivery from the Golden Bridge. Absolutely fantastic food and delivered within the timeframe quoted. We buy regularly,had one issue several weeks ago where the food didn’t arrive, we phoned to chase up and they had inadvertently put the wrong house number down (could happen anywhere) the delivery then came within 10 minutes. After recommendation we visited Golden Bridge being gluten free it’s hard to find a takeaway that caters to suit everyone. The beef in black black bean sauce and the egg fried rice was truly the best I’ve ever tasted (even before I was GF) we also ordered chow meins and sides and the rest of the family greatly enjoyed it. Well done Golden Bridge on catering so superbly for GF

Told to collect at 9oclock to be stood outside for 40 minutes in a massive que in the freezing cold clearly got far to GREEDY with money on NYE and bit more then they could chew. A very angry bunch of people queuing just like myself. Happily to take £40 from me for the Chinese though I have ordered from here for years and I will never order again. Disgusting. If they had explained in the first place this would of been the case I wouldn’t of bothered. Shocking service tonight golden bridge

We decided to start ordering from Golden Bridge during the lockdown and the food has been consistently good quality when arrived! The capital ribs, the sweet n sour, the chow mein are delicious. Good proper Cantonese flavours. 👍

We've ordered twice now and got the wrong order twice, shame because some of the food is really tasty but we don't order a lot and they just don't seem to be able to get it right. We ordered veggie and got meat samosas YAK! The guy who took our order was extremely ratty too because i misheard him, it was 5pm on a Sunday so they had only just opened .. ive heard great things about this take away.. we however are a little disappointed

Have always ordered from here gorgeous food normally however the last twice within the past 8 weeks the food has been terrible , cold just not the standard of lovely food we have had from here , we will be giving it a miss for a long time

Always been a avid fan but the last 2 meals have been bad. Amazingly fast delivery but not good food. Rice, chips, seaweed fine. Nothing exciting although I think very expensive at £3.10 for a portion of rice and £4.40 for seaweed!! The special chow mein at £6.00 was just a round container of noodles with 7 small pieces of meat around the size of a small 2 holed flat lego block and 1 shrimp. I expected large pieces of sliced meat and king prawn on top of noodles. Very disappointing. Also the man who answers the phone is very abrupt. I've met him in person and hes like that all the time but it's not good customer service. Sorry but it was 2 very bland and meatless meals now so we wont be using again. It has got far too expensive.

Ordered a takeaway via answer phone but I went to pick it up and apparently it hadn't been ordered according to them so I ordered and then I collected an hour later! Now it clearly states on the door you must order before and then collect, but there is no on-line ordering service and a phone service that is either engaged or no one answers!!! Food has been good previously so that is one good thing, but you really need to get a system for ordering reliably!!!

First time using golden bridge food was lovely

I used to shop here a lot. Several times a week. Loved the deep fried shredded beef in capital sauce, however they have changed their recipe and it's not a bit too sharp and vinegary. My biggest grip is they can often forget to deliver items. I once paid for 2 shredded beef 2 chips but they only delivered one dish. An hour later they turned up with the missing dish but no chips. Did they really expect me to just eat that on its own? But the biggest kick in the teeth they debited my card for the second dish without my permission. I clearly asked for two to begin with. So a ruined tea, unauthorized processing of my card info which they stored. That was the end of me using this chinese and hundreds of revenue lost from me.

We have used Golden Bridge for a number of years. They were always absolutely the best by a country mile. However of late the quality has deteriorated and how. If you enjoy an overdose of green peppers, onions and spring onions then you'll enjoy it. If you like meat then you'll be disappointed as you hardly get any and what you get tastes old. Won't use again I'm sad to say. Service quite abrupt as well. I think it's a downward spiral here unless changes to suppliers and attitude are made.

Ordered food for delivery. was told around an hour. 1 hour 45 mins later and still no food. Rang to ask where it was and was told cant tell me when it would be ready or be delivered. When I asked for a rough idea when, was told up to another 2 hours, and then phone put down on me.We've had a lot of food from here over since it opened so very unimpressed.

Ordered beef curry and chips was very nice and would go back again, not the cheapest of Chinese takeaway. I see reviews of the staff don't look happy, and they wasn't when I went in they need to put a smile on that face :-)But overall nice

First time we used golden bridge as we had heard good reports overall I was left feeling disappointed waited far to long 1 hour 40 mins having been initially informed it would be an 1 hour.Food was cold ,curry was to spicy and onions were not cooked and chips were god awful ! But the rest of the family enjoyed there’s ! I will be going back to my regular Chinese at least it will be hotter :-)

Always have delicious food here. A good hygiene rating is important to us, and we've never had the usual MSG "hangover" after we've eaten.

I think one of the best chinease I ever ate in EU. Samba fried chicken with broccoli is a spicy master.

A good selection on the menu. Reasonable prices. And more importantly tasty freshly cooked food. I can recommend the special fried rice. Me and a friend ordered a couple of dishes, a starter. More than enough for two. Good service, nice location.
