Don't waste your money,the food is disgusting,we spent 50 pounds on 3 dishes mine was completely inedible and went in the bin ,each dish with crispy beef on was horrific,that dry I couldn't smash a piece on the floor,I gave them a call only to be met by the most disgustingly rude woman,I felt like I had been robbed,the food was definitely stale probably reheated from days before! I will never ever use again and I will make sure I spread the message far and wide in the area that this place is to be avoided,it's never ok to treat a paying customer the way they did ,

First rate takeaway with first rate service

A lot of garlic powder used in every dish and leave a nasty taste in the mouth.

The quality of the food here is unbelievable and unbeatable beautifully cooked amazing portions amazing food

Everything I have ordered this year has been overly greasy, even the seaweed tastes overly greasy. The pineapple fritters had way too much batter and hardly any pineapple inside them. I order the duck which was nice but for almost £10 I would have liked more than 8 little oieces of meat, it was 80% fat, skin and a couple of rifle bones which was also an unpleasant surprise. I'm really not sure I will order from here again. This used to be the best Chinese takeaway in Mansfield!

It's a nice shop, food cooked fast and always piping hot. It's not just this Chinese takeaway but for some reason whenever I eat Chinese food it always tastes over salted. Maybe it's me but it's only Chinese takeaway that tastes like this. Prices are good here and portions are generous sizes. Meal for 1 for example will feed 2 people no problem.

The best Chinese in Mansfield.

I ordered from the wrong restaurant in error but was unable to cancel in time so am out of pocket by £64 :-( 1 star given because I was unable to collect food.

1st time ordering do to the one we use being temporarily closed we wasn't disappointed the food was amazing hot and prompt delivery we will definitely be switching to wok wonder can't wait to try other dishes on the menu

Wok city need to train thier female delivery driver that was working tonight in the art of customer service. It is not acceptable to have your casual hired staff swear at customers under any circumstance. The food though not the best i have ever had it is certainly not the worst to be had local. Sadly the exsperiance and level of swearing by your female delivery driver means that you have lost any future custom from me

Worst exspeariance ever from the swearing female delivery driver to ordering the food. 1st rule of customer service is never have staff swearing at customers. 2nd rule is to act accordingly when customer brings such to your attention. Food is very bland while everything tasted the same. My soup tasted just the same as the curry I had the egg fried rice was if not burnt then very close to being burnt. Even the dog turned it down. Price is resonable Service is slow and the is more atmosphere on mars.

Just moved to the area and this was our first Chinese takeout. It was delicious! Arrived in great time, everything we ordered was hot and had great flavours. Lovely delivery lady, so glad we picked here to try will definitely be ordering again!

This place is beyond amazing! I've been looking for a really good Chinese takeaway for over 20 years and I've finally found one. The food is excellent, the portion sizes are generous and they are always on time. Absolutely outstanding!

It was our first time using this takeaway and I can honestly say it's the best I've had in the last 20 years. The food was absolutely phenomenal and the portion sizes were very good. I've tried loads around Nottingham, Mansfield, Pleasley, Shirebrook and Clowne but none have satisfied us, until now. Safe to say we'll be back and recommending Wok Wonder to others.

Fast delivery but worst takeaway I’ve ever had, the sweet & sour balls were badly burnt on the outside and the chicken was dry & hard under the batter I had to throw the food away it was so bad

Chicken balls were burnt. The ribs left a horrible taste in our mouths after eating. Very sickly and just not my cup of tea. Sorry but won’t order here again it’s all in the bin £30 down the drain

Disappointed, battered sweet and sour balls were overcooked and burnt. Sauce was as runny as water, lemon chicken no longer strips of nice chicken. More like overcooked cheap 'popcorn' chicken, this was presented on a bed of lettuce filled to two thirds of the box, with the chicken scattered on top, Plain chow mein had a burnt peanut taste. This used to be our favourite but won't be returning. Such a shame as always been fantastic in the past.

We ordered sweet and sour battered chicken, chicken satay, wonton, and chips all very over cooked / burnt chicken was so dry in the middle we couldn't eat them. The chicken noodles were nice but let down by the rest.

Over cook food was very disappointing after reading reviews seem it was a good place to order but turn out not to be.

Been using these for a few year now and always had a lovely meal. Tonight I must say something was different! It was gorgeous more than before. All the dishes seems to have more flavour and tasted so yummy. The plain chow mein omg it was a meal in itself. So flavoured and so tasty. Keep up the good food. Thank you so much.

Beef curry was poor , more like a heavy sweet tomato sauce

Food delivery time was estimated between 19.15 and 19.35. It arrived at 19.55, even though the app updates said "enjoy your food" like it had already been delivered. It was cold when it arrived, reheated chips do not taste nice and you shouldn't reheat rice. All in all for my birthday treat it was not very nice at all.

Chow mein was the sort of noodles you can buy in aldi,won't be using again.

When I made order it was accepted and 30mins was added to my preferred time. At the estimated time my food said it was on its way, 30 mins later I rang the takeaway to be told they were awaiting a driver! It would be on its way soon…. Over 30mins later it did arrive. Food was good, although not very hot.

Extremely disappointed with this order and yet we have had so many lovely meals from this restaurant. The rice was stale the salt and pepper chicken was extremely dry and inedible. The chips were cold. The ribs were covered in a sort of breadcrumb and just gristle. Not one of the 5 of us ate our meals 😞 a very expensive meal and 90% of it went in the bin 😞

The first time I tried was unfortunately also the last. Lovely people but the food leaves something to be desired. Everything tasted the same (noodles, rice,prawns, ribs, chicken balls). The chicken ball batter was dark brown, really hard and seconds away from burnt. The sweet & sour sauce was dull looking and gloopy and tasted of vinegar. The ribs were dry and chewy. The prawns were ok but had no taste. As poor as the food was, I genuinely feel bad giving this review as the owners were lovely, but I have to be honest. Real shame.

Been going to this place for years and every time its perfect. Staff are lovely and the food is great. Always comes piping hot. Delivery said up to an hour but came in 15 mins. 10/10 wouldn't go anywhere else

Food was on time as requested, the delivery lady was very friendly but the food was very poor quality. The salt and chilli chios were awful and the seaweed had lumps of brown sugar in it and was way too sweet. The sweet and sour was vinegary. Although there was PLENTY of ingredients in all the dishes, I’m sorry to say that it didn’t taste fresh , I hate to say this but I will never eat from there again.
