My daughter with milk and egg allergies was desperate for some vegan ice cream on our long trek up Steep Hill. Unfortunately our timing was just out and we missed the ice cream place where we had intended to go by 3 minutes! We happened to walk by this place and when asked were told they had 2 types of vegan sorbet. Now my daughter gets pretty frustrated at being fobbed off by the offer of sorbet in place of ice cream (the latter containing milk/cream of plant based variety and the former being frozen squished fruit with no milk/cream) so was initially reluctant to try it. We are SO glad she changed her mind. In all honesty, the sorbet was absolutely delicious and better than any ice cream we have ever tasted! It was creamy AND fruity (we had a scoop of the lime and a scoop of the strawberry). She loved every mouthful. We will definitely be buying again when we visit Lincoln in the future. Thank you for making a little girl with allergies incredibly happy 🥰

We had such a lovely breakfast at Bailgate Deli! Our group included 2 vegetarians, 1 pescatarian, and an omnivore, and everyone found something delicious to eat! We ordered the avocado toast, porridge, pancakes, a fruit smoothie, and lattes, and everything was fresh, flavourful, and beautifully presented. They were also accommodating to my peanut and tree nut allergies, which has been a struggle for me in the past with vegan restaurants. Highly recommend!

Best sushi and sashimi I’ve had in this part of the country and pretty good value too. Nice decor and music, very friendly and attentive staff. Went at 5pm to avoid it being busy as there aren’t lots and lots of tables. Thoroughly enjoyed my visit. I did however leave my grey cap there unfortunately ):

What a hidden gem this place is!! Really enjoyed our visit here, we first walked past it and the smell of the food just hit us! It smelt amazing so we went in for some cocktails on the night which were great! Friendly bar staff, couldn't fault the owner (really nice how he interacted with everyone. We had lunch the following day there and the food is just beautiful... I recommend the pork belly bites as they are cooked to perfection! Will definitely pop in again next time I'm in Lincoln.

All round great pub. Nice courtyard, great selection of beers, changes regularly. Nice friendly atmosphere. Old school pub, always busy.

El personal es amable y siempre una comida encantadora aquí, lo recomendaría encarecidamente. Se pone muy ocupado, así que vale la pena reservar con unas semanas de antelación.

The best in Lincoln for your Indian food is ace great service and price good regular customer in all the years never had a bad meal 😀 👍

I’ve never been to naked marshmallow as a store before and I was immediately greeted with a smile by Oliver. I was so impressed by the variety of flavours and options they had which made perfect Christmas gifts for my family. Oliver was funny, talkative and was really happy to help. Will definitely be back to buy more (for me) Oliver was a true asset to my in store experience :)

Came here for a Saturday afternoon drink. Beautiful historical building which was surprisingly big. Absolutely loads of seating both inside and outside yet didn't feel too crowded. Service at the bar was friendly and quick. Lovely atmosphere. Dog and child friendly.

This is a very good restaurant. Pies are the main items on the menu but there are other choices. The pies however are very, very good and my advice, unless you don't eat pies, is to have one of them. The pies are excellent, with very nice pastry and a choice of interesting fillings, and they are served with lots of very tasty gravy and lovely mashed potato. One portion of the side vegetables will be enough for two people unless one, or both, is very hungry. The haslet sausage roll starter is very good but it is a generous size and one of these shared between two as a starter would probably be enough. The staff were all very friendly. There is a relaxed atmosphere and we had a very enjoyable dinner.

Fabuloso lugar, nos encaja en la misma noche que nos decepcionó otro restaurante. Quizá fue una bendición. Tuvimos una comida fabulosa. El personal era muy amable, acogedor, tranquilo y atento. Nuestra señora era Lauren y ella era fantástico en aconsejarnos qué pedir. Ella nos atendió muy bien y el ambiente del lugar era relajado y animado. Gran hallazgo gracias 😊

Best chippy in Lincoln by a long way.

Staff were pleasant. Served quickly. Lots of seating inside and a nice outdoor area too to sit and chill
