Hidden gem as tucked away off nearby Steep Hill with 7 small tables, thus a quiet and intimate setting. We ordered the Omasake Set for 2. The sushi was fresh and delicious. The waiter and chef were friendly and knowledgeable.

Delicious food. Lovely choices and service with a smile. We felt well looked after from the start.

Food was bangin. Service was really really good. Reasonably priced. Really lovely little restaurant. Will defo be returning x

Would recommend as long as you book a table as it's a small venue. Food was lovely and so was the staff. If you want an alcoholic drink, you have to take one and they charge corkage, just FYI

It's a rare treat to find Japanese cuisine, especially omakase, in Lincoln. While the experience differs slightly from what you’d find in Japan, the quality of the omakase offered here is impressive for the UK, with excellent value for money. The sashimi is also very fresh, adding to the overall enjoyable dining experience. This is a small restaurant, so if you're planning to visit with a group, be sure to book in advance to secure your spot.

The best sushi in Lincoln with the friendliest service and the freshest fish! Never once had a bad visit there. I love their delivery service just as much, but nothing beats the cosy atmosphere of their beautifully decorated, small restaurant!

We cannot recommend this place more highly. The food was absolutely incredible and the staff were really knowledgeable and friendly. We already know that we’re coming back to this hidden gem.

Brilliant food but terrible vibes from the waiter, who was unfriendly and without tact. We were the only people in the restaurant for most of the time. At one point, while saying nothing to us, he started wiping the floor at the bottom of my chair after I had splashed some soy sauce, already embarrassing but the sighing certainly didn’t help. It felt like a shame to be eating such a nice meal while feeling so uncomfortable. If not for the atmosphere I would have loved to try the mochi. I’d recommend trying the food to takeaway!

2nd visit to LincSushi and it’s easily some of the best sushi I’ve had in a while - it beats a few London places I’ve been to for sure. Can’t fault the quality or the chilled atmosphere. Super fresh, Takoyaki wasn’t chewy, shiru miso soup really flavourful and the Osaka set lunch I almost couldn’t eat it all was a generous portion. A real hidden gem tucked away in Lincoln and you can tell each dish is made with passion and love. A must visit if you like Japanese flavours and a relaxed meal. Looking forward to trying the eel next time!

I've been eating at LincSushi for over a year now and I can safely say it is the best sushi in Lincolnshire, if not the entire Midlands. Agnes is a remarkable sushi chef who crafts some of the most inventive and delicious sushi I've ever eaten. All of the wait staff are friendly and know their stuff about sushi, too! I visit roughly once a week, sometimes more, bringing friends and also doing solo sushi nights as well. Whether I'm relaxing alone with a book and a hot bowl of miso gyoza or laughing with friends over my absolute favourite, a big bowl of chirashizushi, I always enjoy my time here.

Good food, friendly service and fairly priced. First time visiting this place had the Tuna sushi and pork Gozas, both dishes were delicious. I would recommend and I’ll be going back to try more from the menu.

I've got mixed feelings about this restaurant. The food and presentation is good and certainly worth the visit. The service is good. I felt somewhat let down by the corkage. Not only was it not specified anywhere but at £5pp is a tad steep. Not only is it high for providing a glass of wine to drink from but is high compared to the excellent food value. The server managed to contact the owner, Agnes, who agreed to remove the fee. All rather unnecessary and took the shine on what was otherwise a lovely meal.

I went on my 22nd birthday 🎂 with my Brothers and it was very enjoyable. The atmosphere was chill and the vibes immaculate ✨️ The service was attentive and welcoming. The food came out with great timing. Since the tables are quite small it came out gradually which was monitored diligently by the staff. The pricing is fair for the quality of food you get. They gave me a sushi birthday plate with a little candle, which was sweet of them 😊 If I lived in Lincoln I would go more often. Also, shout out to Max the server for chatting with us, super nice guy.👦

I am a sushi fanatic and this is the best sushi I have had in a long time! You feel like you are eating art, it is so well presented and the ingredients are always fresh with the most interesting but wonderful combinations! To top it all off, the service is also excellent. Would highly recommend.

I Love Lincsushi, it’s the first time I’ve sat in, but I’ve had several takeaways and it never disappoints 10/10 recommend! I’m allergic to gluten and milk and they cater well, they’re able to adapt items. Plus all their soy sauce is gluten free.

This place is amazing! I went here with friends and the food and service is greate. I did have a bit of a hard time with the menu but the staff ( a lovely lady named Emily) helped a lot and her recommendations for foods where the best! I will definitely come again.

It has been a great experience as always. I visit the restaurant or order deliveries at least 4/5 times per month. Food is very good and the waitress is super lovely and helpful.

Two adults and two children for lunch and it was delicious! Service was fab and felt really chilled out.

First visit and won’t be the last, beautiful food and very informative for the first time to an authentic sushi restaurant. Our only disappointment is that we didn’t bring any cash to leave a tip. Highly recommend!

Awesome fresh sushi in a lovely setting

We have eaten at LincSushi a few times now, following a recommendation from another customer. We’ve experienced their menu both in the restaurant and many times as take out and our experience is only getting better. The staff are amazing, but they’re always welcoming and very friendly. Agnes takes her the time to make the most beautiful creations of the menu. We have ordered at very peak times and the wait is no problem as it’s so worth It- You can't rush perfection. Best Sushi we’ve eaten, so don’t hesitate to place an order or pay the restaurant a visit.

No doubt this is the best sushi restaurant in Lincoln, good taste fair price and convenient range of selections. Music tracks could be better. The waiter my friend Max did absolutely great job!

Absolutely delicious again, we returned for the 2nd time into this restaurant (we’ve had takeaway before too) as always everything was delicious. Today we had a mix of everything our favourite was the spicy tempura prawn uramaki. The salmon roses are a real treat. You can tell the team take great pride in the food they serve.

A hidden gem in Lincoln. You'll struggle to find a place as authentic as this in the midlands. Food was fantastic. My partner has been to Japan 7 x and said its as close to authentic as she has had in the UK.

The best sushi you will find. Every piece of the sushi platter we had last night was incredible. Enjoyed with with children who love all the variety and tastes. You won’t get better sushi that this by Agnes and her talented team. If you haven’t tried it yet you’re missing out.

I’m a bit spoilt with proper authentic Japanese food as loads of Eastern Europeans :) I meant we absolutely in love with sushi and absolutely can’t accept all this stuff what selling in supermarkets. I live in the UK for 8 years, in Newark and was so upset that we didn’t have any nice Japanese restaurant surrounding area. And then I found Linc Sushi! Oh my god it’s absolutely gorgeous food! Thank you Agnes, your effort and taste absolutely worth 30 mins drive! Every time it’s just a little ecstasy. Me and my partner will come over again and again, definitely! Thank you ever so much 💖

Soup was lovely and flavoursome, sushi was delicious and brilliantly presented. Service was friendly and professional. Only small criticism is the coffee could have been hotter. It was luke warm/cool when it came out. Aside from that, great experience.

I went in for lunch today solo. The atmosphere was simply relaxing and authentic, it felt like I was in a spa. Great music, very tasty food. The salmon sashimi was so light, fresh and creamy and all was beautifully presented. A nice variety of drinks and the matcha latte was just right. Lovely plants and little extras that really improved my day. The service was outstanding, very quick and attentive to my needs and beyond. Absolutely will go back with my husband soon. I have been to Japan and this was the best sushi I have had in a long while.

This was my second visit to LincSushi and was simply excellent. I have a bad dairy intolerance and the waiter was super helpful in finding out if I could eat the Takoyaki (I could) and then we shared the Omakase sharer for 2, was a lovely selection, different to my previous visit and just as good, if not better. It is quickly becoming my new favourite restaurant in Lincoln.

Love this place!! It’s about time we had a decent sushi place in Lincoln. I lived in Japan for a couple of years where they obviously have the best sushi on the planet, I can safely say that this is the closest I’ve had to real, authentic Japanese food outside of Japan (Barring London) Fresh sushi, great atmosphere, delicious takoyaki and they even have Kirin lager! Our new favourite place.

My wife and I visited LincSushi this evening and we were not disappointed! We have sampled Sushi across the world and this is by far the the best we have had the pleasure of eating. The platter was aesthetically pleasing and the flavours were a sensation to the taste buds. If you're visiting Lincoln and love sushi, definitely sample the delights on offer!

Delicious sushi with a great range available, including an expansive vegan menu. The only negative is the slightly cramped tables, but I appreciate it's difficult in such a small shop to lay things out and the staff have done the best they can with the space available 👍

Fantastic food! The staff were so warm and welcoming. I can’t say enough positive things about our evening. Amazing place and we are so lucky to have it in Lincoln.

I went here because of the high reviews, but as a tourist I won’t recommend ppl who travels to get sushi in Lincoln. I was quite impressed with their homemade dessert( especially the cake) and their miso soup. But other than that, our omakase platter and takoyaki were d’Issa pointing. The takoyaki and chicken karaage were clearly reheat from frozen packages. The food in omakase platter were just plain, we were expecting something different. The menu was limited and pricier given their food quality. Nevertheless, the service and atmosphere were really good.

Absolutely beautiful sushi, really lovingly prepared, and the wait staff very friendly and gave excellent recommendations and even gave us a bonus tea on the house! Very fresh, reasonably priced and probably the best sushi I’ve had. 100% recommend

Amazing place to go with friends or family to try Japanese food in the very city centre. All food was so freshly cooked and tasty. “Salmon Tower” impressed all of us:) Matcha Japanese tea was the most unusual tea I’ve ever tried. Absolutely authentic and cozy atmosphere.
