Olé Olé Tapas Bar & Restaurant in Lincoln

Extremely busy but managed to squeeze us in. I cannot fault anything, amazing food, fabulous staff and a lovely atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Very nice and friendly service. The food was very good and tasted like in Spain. The interior design also added to the nice atmosphere. My boyfriend and I eat at many different restaurants and we were not disappointed this time either. I highly recommend this place!

Our second visit here in 2 months this time we had lunch rather than dinner. Nevertheless the food and service was commendable as per our previous visit last year. Tapas choice is excellent and we are trying new dishes on every visit! Good selection of wine too, and sherries are a nice addition. The manager also allowed me to sample some before making my choice - nice touch! Just need to add a not too sweet and not too dry sherry to the list please

Highly recommend Olé Olé Tapas. The staff are amazing and the owners are very welcoming and helpful. The food was amazing and waiting time wasn't long. Restaurant wasn't too crowded as well and the atmosphere is great for large groups.

Have been here twice already and booked in again to go back in. First visit was December and the whole place was packed..so busy..bit the atmosphere was brilliant. The service was so quick and slick! Excellent choice of small plates and wine. Food is served almost immediately. I've always booked but I'm told they never turn anyone away. You may have to wait, but you won't be waiting long.

Disappointed, extremely poor service, seated in bar area and told we could have drinks and order food, given menus and over 1.5hours later no one had even asked or even made an attempt to come and take an order. Ended up paying for the drink and walking out, could have quite happily walked out. Certainly wouldn’t recommend, and probably won’t go back, at least be honest with customers don’t seat people if you can’t serve them

Superb food and service for a reasonable price. We will certainly be revisiting Olé Olé next time we are in Lincoln.

This is a fantastic place to eat, the food is amazing and the service is spot on. Everything was cooked to perfection and the flavours were on point. I will definitely be going again.

We arrived on a Saturday night, quite early but without a booking. The welcoming staff managed to seat us in the bar area as the place was full, which is a good sign! We actually loved our table and didn't miss being in the restaurant. The food was delicious, we ordered 7 tapas and we were stuffed and very happy! Best Spanish food I've tried in the UK, will definitely visit again when we're in Lincoln next 🥰

I booked a table for 2 for our 1st wedding anniversary which at the point of booking there is an option to tick for a special occasion. This was pretty pointless as it turns out that it made no difference to our experience, with no mention from the staff of it being a special occasion. The food was good, albeit a little dry and salty for some of the dishes. The service was prompt and friendly. The atmosphere was unfortunately a little too noisy for my liking and any chance of a romantic anniversary meal soon disappeared. All in all we would visit again but not for a special occasion.

Arrived 5 minutes before being booking time, no one to acknowledge we had arrived and then stood 20 minutes without being asked if we wanted a drink or anything. Eventually sat down, asked for some water three times, ( wine arrived but no water ) before getting up and going back to front desk to ask. Food was ok, fish was incredible, pork was tough, meatballs delicious and chicken also good. Was told they would sort us out with the bill, they didn’t and only got bill after asking twice again!! Great potential but service is shocking. Some beautiful restaurants around so could do much better.

Whenever we come to Lincoln we make a point of coming here. The food is absolutely delicious and always reminds of wonderful meals in Spain. The restaurant and staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming.

We love the concept of Tapas but often let down by the process adopted by English establishments. However... We grazed our way through an assortment of dishes throughout the evening in a buzzy atmosphere. Very relaxing and enjoyable. The service was excellent and one of the family owners made sure we were well looked after thoughout the evening. it's a shame we were just visiting Lincoln and not a resident - this would certainly be our go to restaurant. We've now got a good excuse for another visit to Lincoln.

Fabulous place.. managed a late minute booking on a Friday evening..and was certainly not disappointed from the moment we stepped foot in the place..a Lovely location..all staff were excellent..food was fantastic.. and prices were great..Its probably best Tapas I've had ..

Great food and great location (opposite the Castle). There is parking onsite, but limited. We went for a family thing, staff were perfect. I dearly hope with the current budget changes you can stay open.

An excellent evening with a friend. Very busy & buzzy, lively atmosphere. Excellent range of dishes, mostly served fresh & quick - just a small criticism that there was a wait between some of the dishes being brought out, but nothing that spoiled our enjoyment. It was my friend's first visit & I don't think it will be her last! Excellent service too - all the staff who served us were confident, friendly & efficient.

Had a lovely evening, my daughter treated me for my 51st birthday. Although when attending the ladies listening to 3 women snorting coke...wow...bought u to staff attention...to be told sorry we asked them to leave earlier..OK fair enough...but then to leave later and find the same staff in the back with these drug addicts...wow.....whoever owns this....take a look what's going on here....lovely place but wow

So much food! Set menu is great if you are dining in a group. You can order 6 tapas from the menu and 1 side dish. Appetizer is Jamon with cheese and bread. Everything is so good and tasty.

Tapas is our favourite way to eat. It's our go to whenever in Spain and we've had the opportunity to eat variations of it all over the world. This place is probably the best experience we've had. From the welcoming front of house team to the exceptional food, the whole experience was fantastic. If you're in Lincoln for only one night then this has to be the place, more than one night then you're doing yourself an injustice by not coming here! We also have a daughter who is gluten free and the menu could not have been clearer.

Great atmosphere and friendly, welcoming service. I would have given 5🌟 for the food. It was super speedy getting to the table and was quite delicious, but I forgot to ask for no parsley, and it was covered in it…

Went on a monday night and it was still packed! The attention the staff gave us was second to none. They even heard that it was my sons birthday and brought a cake with a candle out, all singing. Amazing. My only regret is that I couldn't spend more time there and just graze on every dish on the menu. Just, brilliant. Thank you guys, I'll definitely be back.

This place is amazing must visit the staff were amazing very attentive, happy and very helpful mentioned it was my sons birthday even at 21 they brought cake candles and there best singing voices and never charged us and he even got a pressies lovely place extremely clean thanks everyone !! 5 🌟

Have been, in the past, and enjoyed it. This last visit was a disappointment and won't be going again.

Such a thrill to find this gem. All of the dishes we ordered, which all happened to be vegan, looked, smelt and tasted amazing. Lincoln was such a beautiful city, eating here was the cherry on top. Bravo!

Second visit.... Amazing food (again). Table of 4 adults, 12 tapas (and bread and Aioli tbf)... Ample food to go around. 11 different dishes, none were disappointing. I'd list what was particularly nice, but I'd list have to list all 11. OK, if I must. A 'special' of patatas bravas with (I think it was) chorizo and an egg. AMAZING. Was in Barcelona last year and ate tapas more than once and (genuinely) this was nicer / better food. Also: Friendly staff. Lovely atmosphere. Nice sangria too. What more could we ask? Will be back again... Thanks and (FWIW) well done for being an excellent restaurant!!

A chilled out place to eat. Great selection of different tapas, however I did find that the dishes were quite salty. I would come back again but would stay away from the pork/beef dishes as they were just so salty. Good atmosphere and friendly staff

Been coming here for years, never had a bad meal, portion sizes are bigger than they've ever been. WOW!!!! Excellent food and menu choices... the chorizo and potatoes were excellent. I highly recommend you try this place if you haven't yet.

Drove from Cambridgeshire to meet daughter at Uni, got stuck in traffic, hurried from Uni, stumbled up Steep Hill and 10 mins late for booking. Needed to decompress, so lovely glass of Rose and feasted on the bread. Unfortunately when the food came I wasn't very hungry. What was so lovely was the waitress provided take away boxes so daughter brought what was left back to Uni digs... Parents have lived in Spain for 30 years so accustomed to Tapas and this didn't disappoint.. Daughter is a fussy eater and thoroughly enjoyed the chicken in wine sauce, patatas bravas, and meatballs... I loved the beef stew.. food, staff and atmosphere all wonderful... Muchas Gracias!

Food and service were amazing. We tried a couple of the specials and were very impressed. The only reason the atmosphere was rated a bit lower is because there were 3 or 4 glasses/dishes smashed while we were there which caused my partner some anxiety. Highly recommend the traditional sangria. Overall a great place to eat, with great staff.

Fantastic place , staff and service good, busy the night I went which added to the atmosphere, been a few times, will recommend to my friends and family.

We went without knowing anything and we were pleasantly surprised by what a good restaurant it is, impeccable service, very friendly and helpful, we come from Spain and we felt at home, the food was excellent and abundant quantities

Fantastic food which is very popular due to it being great. We had a table of five and had the set meal which included bread, olives and ham and cheese which was delicious. We were then served our choice of six large tapas and each was great. The potions were large enough for us not to be tempted with any dessert. Would definitely recommend a visit and we will return when next in Lincoln.

Just had the lunchtime special as always. We travel out of town to come to this tapas restaurant. The food and service is absolutely top class. I thinks it's very reasonable price wise and large portions.. 10 out of 10.

The food is so good. It's really good. Even had to ask if the chef was Spanish because the food was that good. Service was good. Didn't have to wait too long. Good wine selection and tapas selection. It would be nice to have a 3 - or 4-way special option to sort the confusion with the 2-person lunch. Otherwise, all was great.

Brilliant tapas best in lincoln

Went for lunch with friends, 6 people last week. Initial order for drinks and food very quick. Tapas etc arrived quickly and amount and taste of food was excellent. Have been before but sadly the service was disappointing this time. The young woman serving us didn't ask if everything was OK and didn't come back to replenish the drinks. Had the feeling wanted us to finish the meal and go. Would recommend but hopefully the service will improve.

We ate very well, the place was beautiful, located in a spectacular place and after eating we went for a walk. We highlight the attention of the server Santiago, very friendly and committed to ensuring that everything scores 10 points. Totally recommended!!!!

It's amazing if you like the same fried potato cubes with virtually everything, disguised as different dishes with the transparent use of sauce. The chicken goujons were overcooked and dry. The bread was good. We sat at the table for 15 minutes before drinks were ordered. Just over an hour after arriving, the food order was taken. Service was slow.. Food orders were confused. I would love to say that this visit was out of the ordinary, but this was a second visit - neither one by choice and both poor. Fortunately, the company was good - and we had been for an amazing pizza at Gino's at the top of Steep Hill, so did not leave still hungry ...this time.

Great food - we had three tapas dishes each (two people)which was probably one too many as the portions are generous. Friendly staff but it’s a large restaurant and they were rushed off their feet, consequently the service was a bit slow. Minor quibble though- I would thoroughly recommend.

Great food and a great experience. My main praise however was the host, he was friendly, helpful and even replaced a dish that wasn't cooked to his standard, free of charge and without me even asking. Really exceptional.

Wow, our new favourite place. Amazing to be transported to Spain for a couple of hours. Service amazing, vibes and buzz amazing, sangria and cocktails amazing and the best Tapas anywhere! Definitely recommend and will be back soon. Best to book through OpenTable as gets busy. Thank you Ole Ole for a memorable Tuesday evening.

A group of friends meet here once a year. The staff (including the owner) remembered us and treated us like family. The food was excellent and the service was fast and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble.

After spending the day visiting Lincoln cathedral and castle with the family, asked a local for a recommendation for somewhere good to eat. The lady in question was very helpful and kind by taking us to Ole'Ole, which was a short distance away. Let me just say the service was excellent, the staff were polite and helpful, but the food was on a different level, if I could give a score more than 5, I would. Every dish was exceptional, and we ordered a lot. Two of many, which particularly stood out, were the Estofado and the Coliflor al Horno. The dessert and coffee are great too. If you're ever in Lincoln, visit Ole'Ole'

Came in for a meal with my family in a big group a few weeks ago. Fantastic experience from the waitress Georgie. She honestly made our experience so much better! it was very easy to order and the food was good. Its a shame the rest of the staff didn’t seem too impressed to be there but Georgie made us feel very welcome. Hope to be served by her when we come again. :)

Authentic spanish tapas with solid flavours at very reasonable prices. Really attentive and friendly staff. I recommend the Pollo al Ajillo and the Tarta de Queso.
