Olé Olé Tapas Bar & Restaurant in Lincoln

Fantastic tapas bar, we were very warmly welcomed, staff really friendly. The food was superb, I especially liked the Cauliflower (coliflor al horno). Great atmosphere, really buzzing vibes even at 5:30 pm. An authentic Spanish experience right in the heart of Lincoln. Loved it!

Called in during our stay in Lincoln. The olives are very tasty and the 5 tapas dishes we had were all excellent. Service was also excellent. May I also add that it is dog friendly (in the bar area only I think) we had actually booked in advance and mentioned we had a well behaved dog. No problems at all. Deffo recommend

I wanna say this place is wonderful. Fab staff, always smiling, there to help you and got the Spanish vibe which I really adore. Food was great. The location is the best in the city. To get there, you would have to walk uphill and on the way, you have the chance of visiting the big cathedral. If you're a fan of garlic and prawn, go for it. It was one of the best things served there. Also, ask the lovely staff to take a picture from you and, instead of Cheers or Cheese, they would ask you to shout Ooollleee which is kinda funny. Highly recommend.

Best Spanish restaurant in the UK! I am from Spain and I was sooo impressed by what Amador (restaurant owner) with his family, has created in the most beautiful part of Lincoln. From the moment you cross the door of Ole Ole you feel you are in Spain. The warm welcome, the smiley and helpful staff and the decoration, all is a 10 out of 10. And the food...OMG. Amazing flavours, it took me back to my beautiful Andalucia. The tapas menu is outstanding and the quality of the food is extraordinary. What to recommend? the chorizo, paella, calamari, adobe fish, pan tumaca, patatas bravas, croquetas....If you are in Lincoln please don't miss this restaurant. A trip to real Spain in Lincolnshire. Thank you Ole Ole team for such a great evening! We will be back

Since our discovery of Olé Olé at the start of the year, we have visited on several occasions and have never been disappointed. The staff are always warm, friendly, accommodating and welcoming. Most importantly the food is decidedly of a high standard and interesting, the menu always providing opportunities to branch out and explore new tapas dishes. Some of these have provided taste experiences for myself surpassing what I have experienced in highly rated restaurants elsewhere in the country and Europe. Highly recommended and budget friendly.

Absolutely disgusted at the way my mum and sister was spoken to!! After booking this venue for mums 80th well in advance for a large group to celebrate, they went in to pre pay for drinks and some food to be told 'can't do that it's too messy' surely this would of helped?? And then to say the menu has all gone up and continued to be extremely unprofessional and rude! This upset my mum and sister and ruined our plans!! Luckily we have got in elsewhere so will enjoy her 80th and give our custom to a more friendly accommodating company!!!

Enjoyed the night, staff efficient and friendly, and humoured my attempts at Espanol 😅. Party of 4, and we opted for the set menu, thinking it was better value, but in hindsight, I'm not sure. Food great 👍 Estofado a bit bland, but rest were tasty. Selected mid range wine at £28. It was a 14% Rioja, very nice. De primero could have more portions as their were 4 of us, but tasty. The vibe was great, and the restaurant was buzzing. Total bill was circa £180+ for sharing Tapas, drinks and we tipped well. Overall, when back in Lincoln, would revisit. Recommended.

From the second you walk in you feel welcomed into a bustling (But not oppressively loud) family atmosphere. All of the staff are fantastic. The food is superb too, with all dishes incredibly tasty. Portions are great and the staff are on hand to guide you ordering. Highly recommended.

Amazing from start to finish. Out of this world

Popped in without a booking for an early evening meal, whilst wandering around the city during our short stay. They were able to accommodate us despite a very busy booking diary. Fabulous food and great choice, we went for one of the set menus and there was loads of food. Really enjoyed it. Given how popular the place is on an evening and how small the place is, we'd say it's perhaps time to look for bigger premises as I'm sure they'd fill a bigger restaurant.👍

Fabulous! We booked online on the day. Great service from this family run restaurant. Good portions on the small plates we had 4 between 2 of us which was plenty and left room for a desert! I recommend the Sangria, but the house wine was good too. I highly recommend this place.

If you want a slice of Spanish cuisine, culture and welcoming hospitality this is the place to be. Great decor, inspired by Lanzarote art and the work of Caesar Manrique. Great vibes, lovely staff and service with delicious tapas portions. We ate sea bass, prawns, dates with bacon And an amazing tortilla, soft and fluffy, utterly delicious!!! Teamed with Spanish wines, sherry and a complimentary caramel vodka. This was a great restaurant experience. Chat to the head honcho about all his favourite places. He is super knowledgeable. We left feeling like friend! Will definitely return!

Wow and well done! It was by far the best Spanish food we had in years in the UK. Normally you fly out to Spain and have such a good food experience, but not this was a big surprise and a very yummy one!

A beautiful meal and atmosphere como siempre here. A fantastic birthday treat in one of my favourite places with my favourite food! Authentic and tasty! The sangria is phenomenal too by the way 🍷 And thanks for my free bottle opener aswell! 🎉

We have been here a number of times now and this restaurant never disappoints. Lovely food, great atmosphere and excellent service. The complimentary caramel vodka shot at the end of the meal is a nice touch. It's not the cheapest of places but I can highly recommend it.

Excellent value Tapas restaurant, first visit, busy on arrival which is always a good sign. Decent choice of food and portion sizes are bigger than we are accustomed to. Prices are very reasonable and we wouldn’t hesitate in visiting again.

Ole Ole was one of the few places open in Lincoln on the Monday of our 3 night stay. We were glad it was. Atmosphere is good and the Tapas were great. The portion sizes were slightly larger than at our favourite Tapas restaurant at home in Shrewsbury so we over reached ourselves slightly having bread beforehand and then 3 Tapas each. However, it was all wonderful. Definitely recommend it to anyone.

If you are Gluten Free you are in for a treat! The menu is 90% GF and the food is excellent! I hadn’t been before and everything that was recommended was incredibly tasty and full of flavour. Excellent service, very friendly happy staff and overall great atmosphere to enjoy yourself with friends 🤩 can’t wait to return 🤩

Tastiest tapas in Lincoln. Best restaurant in Lincoln. Tried a couple of the specials as well (chorizo croquettes and a potato, egg and cured meat dish) and they were scrumptious!

Wonderful food, great service and big portions reasonable prices!

The food was so good I didn't take photos until after we'd finished everything.... Would really recommend the calamari, Andalusian fried fish (kind of like subtly spiced/smoky fish and chips style fish with light batter), the little chorizo and garlic prawns. The cafe bonbon with condensed milk is also a very nice dessert drink. I would definitely visit again next time I'm in the area. Prices also very reasonable around £40pp including alcoholic drinks, sharing board and all those tapas and dessert! Atmosphere is also relaxed but you can still dress up if you want to make a date night of it.

Was recommended by a friend and so glad we went here. It was amazing, very welcoming and friendly staff, quick service and the food was amazing. With good portions. Will be going back on my next trip to Lincoln.

Honest to god the first good food since I live in England. Such a taste , the staff extremely friendly and nice. I think that is just amazing place to eat. We actually used the meal for two options and the price at the end was great as well , managed to taste 8 meals but to be honest I would just do with the bread from the starters just out of this world 🌎🌎🌎🌎

This is the second time we have been here the first time on a Friday evening, amazing food and a brilliant atmosphere. This time we went on a Sunday afternoon this time the food was not as good as before which is a shame but we were one of that last bookings of the day and the kitchen closed half hour after we arrived so maybe the cooking staff were eager to go home and this is understandable.service was brilliant as with many establishments the atmosphere wasn't as vibrant as a Friday evening but still ok

What a great restaurant. This is my second time here first was in the summer and now a valentine's meal in February. Both equally as tasty! Loved the fact the owner was digging in and part of the team, speaking calmly and respectfully to his staff and chatting with the customers. Service was rapid and with a smile and it was obvious that this place was so popular. Food...well it was stunning. Had a slightly smaller menu due to the day but it didn't matter, the food was to die for. Even had a rose given to all ladies on the night which I thought was a lovely touch 🌹😍 Will be coming back again! Thank you 🥰

One of our favourite places to eat when in Lincoln. The service is great, the food is wonderful and we always leave feeling very full. If you love tapas then Olé Olé is a must visit.

Very nice and friendly service. The food was very good and tasted like in Spain. The interior design also added to the nice atmosphere. My boyfriend and I eat at many different restaurants and we were not disappointed this time either. I highly recommend this place!

Highly recommend Olé Olé Tapas. The staff are amazing and the owners are very welcoming and helpful. The food was amazing and waiting time wasn't long. Restaurant wasn't too crowded as well and the atmosphere is great for large groups.

Our second visit here in 2 months this time we had lunch rather than dinner. Nevertheless the food and service was commendable as per our previous visit last year. Tapas choice is excellent and we are trying new dishes on every visit! Good selection of wine too, and sherries are a nice addition. The manager also allowed me to sample some before making my choice - nice touch! Just need to add a not too sweet and not too dry sherry to the list please

Have been here twice already and booked in again to go back in. First visit was December and the whole place was packed..so busy..bit the atmosphere was brilliant. The service was so quick and slick! Excellent choice of small plates and wine. Food is served almost immediately. I've always booked but I'm told they never turn anyone away. You may have to wait, but you won't be waiting long.

Disappointed, extremely poor service, seated in bar area and told we could have drinks and order food, given menus and over 1.5hours later no one had even asked or even made an attempt to come and take an order. Ended up paying for the drink and walking out, could have quite happily walked out. Certainly wouldn’t recommend, and probably won’t go back, at least be honest with customers don’t seat people if you can’t serve them

We arrived on a Saturday night, quite early but without a booking. The welcoming staff managed to seat us in the bar area as the place was full, which is a good sign! We actually loved our table and didn't miss being in the restaurant. The food was delicious, we ordered 7 tapas and we were stuffed and very happy! Best Spanish food I've tried in the UK, will definitely visit again when we're in Lincoln next 🥰

I booked a table for 2 for our 1st wedding anniversary which at the point of booking there is an option to tick for a special occasion. This was pretty pointless as it turns out that it made no difference to our experience, with no mention from the staff of it being a special occasion. The food was good, albeit a little dry and salty for some of the dishes. The service was prompt and friendly. The atmosphere was unfortunately a little too noisy for my liking and any chance of a romantic anniversary meal soon disappeared. All in all we would visit again but not for a special occasion.

Arrived 5 minutes before being booking time, no one to acknowledge we had arrived and then stood 20 minutes without being asked if we wanted a drink or anything. Eventually sat down, asked for some water three times, ( wine arrived but no water ) before getting up and going back to front desk to ask. Food was ok, fish was incredible, pork was tough, meatballs delicious and chicken also good. Was told they would sort us out with the bill, they didn’t and only got bill after asking twice again!! Great potential but service is shocking. Some beautiful restaurants around so could do much better.

Whenever we come to Lincoln we make a point of coming here. The food is absolutely delicious and always reminds of wonderful meals in Spain. The restaurant and staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming.

We love the concept of Tapas but often let down by the process adopted by English establishments. However... We grazed our way through an assortment of dishes throughout the evening in a buzzy atmosphere. Very relaxing and enjoyable. The service was excellent and one of the family owners made sure we were well looked after thoughout the evening. it's a shame we were just visiting Lincoln and not a resident - this would certainly be our go to restaurant. We've now got a good excuse for another visit to Lincoln.

Fabulous place.. managed a late minute booking on a Friday evening..and was certainly not disappointed from the moment we stepped foot in the place..a Lovely location..all staff were excellent..food was fantastic.. and prices were great..Its probably best Tapas I've had ..
