The Naked Marshmallow Co. in Lincoln

I’ve never been to naked marshmallow as a store before and I was immediately greeted with a smile by Oliver. I was so impressed by the variety of flavours and options they had which made perfect Christmas gifts for my family. Oliver was funny, talkative and was really happy to help. Will definitely be back to buy more (for me) Oliver was a true asset to my in store experience :)

They had run out of fluffe, I was not a happy bunny! I had walked all the way up that hill for nothing. But I tried the hot chocolate which was really nice and treated myself to a pack of salted caramel marshmallows which were also really nice.

I’m not a huge fan of marshmallow but loved the variety of marshmallow, drinks and the interior of this unusual shop on Lincoln’s beautiful Steep Hill. If you’re looking for a sweet treat it’s the perfect destination. Tried the hot chocolate topped with marshmallow. Heavenly!

The food and drinks are great, big portions but it’s gets a bit filling after a while. The prices could go down a bit. The atmosphere is great and the service is perfect. The customer service is fantastic. I think this place is nice and you should visit when in Lincoln.

Staff was so helpful, first time having a marshmallow fluffy and I had caramel topped with Turkish delight it was amazing and the best bit was that it was all vegetarian. Super impressed 😁

Such a fun little place! First time visitor here who will definitely be back! Wonderful service and delicious hot chocolate that can be made with oat milk!

A delicious reward for walking up steep hill!

This place is a nice fun stop for kids and the price is reasonable. The Naked Marshmallow offers a wide variety of toppings and options but prepare yourself for the sugar coma that follows. The fluff cup was just too much for my two boys. Great little treat at the end of a long day and to try once or twice but mostly a tourist stop.

Although it looks delicious, the fluffe is too sweet and gets sickly after a couple of spoonfuls. Staff seemed annoyed we were there and ordering process was a little confusing. Overall, it’s worth trying once (by sharing a pot of fluffe within a group) but wouldn’t come back again.

Definitely worth a visit but be aware, they are very sweet and sickly. It’s definitely worth it though. There’s loads of choices to pick from and friendly staff to help

Had the most exquisite iced hot chocolate from here! We loved the shop, the staff were really friendly and the hot chocolate was out of this world! Yes, it was extremely sweet, but let's face it, you don't go to a "marshmallow shop" if you aren't expecting something sweet!? It was a delicious treat as a well done to me for getting up Steep Hill. My only wish is that we had one closer as we live in Norfolk and visited Lincoln for a weekend away! Loved it and will 100% return if we visit Lincoln again! 😊

Bosh, Good, Amazing, Naked Marshmallow are the best Milkshake place in lincoln. I don't do if buts or maybes I do absolutes and this place is the go to milkshake place. The staff are very helpful and provide great recommendations.

(Updated from 3 to 5 * after the owner response, which addressed concerns and confirmed we can pick up marshmallows locally, and that vegan/vegetarian will be carried in store. Perfect!) The drinks are tasty, although just a bit sweet and large. Big disappointment as we went expecting to be able to buy the naked marshmallows in shop as we live locally, rather than having to order though the post with all the resources needed for that. There were only a couple of 'token' packs in the shelves and no option to buy anything close to the range from the shop. How ridiculous is that! I see no reason to not stock the actual marshmallows, even if they are stocked in the back. What a massive lost opportunity, aside from making people that live near the factory having to order online. Please start stocking the marshmallows in your shop, even if just the most popular brands of the normal and vegetarian ones. Sadly we will just walk past until this happens as the drinks are just too sweet to be having often. It feels like the shop is based only at tourists and doesn't care about locals wanting to buy locally.

Small shop so a short line fills up the entire thing. It's very pretty inside with the bright colors and watching their chocolate fountain drip. It takes a while to make the order but it's worth the wait. The staff offer great customer service. This is a cute hot chocolate shop that gives you an experience like never before. They offer you a hot drink and a large amount of marshmallow fluff on top with toppings like cookie crumbles, syrup, honey comb, and more. It's very messy so don't wear white when eating it.

Really decedent hot chocolate and delicious. I tried a dark chocolate hot chocolate with vanilla fluff and cookie dough, very rich in the sugar but also tasty...and a little messy! My wife had a dark chocolate hot chocolate with vanilla fluff and sponge cake, she liked it but was saddened that the cake was a tad stale. We also grabbed some churro marshmallow festive box and tried it later at night, very tasty would recommend highly.

Wow! Imagine fluffy marshmallow with milk chocolate and cheese cake chops. It is so delicious but so sweet so if you love sweet things, you are absolutely going to love it! The staff are great.

The lady behind the till deserves 5* as she was lovely, polite and helpful but sadly the hot chocolate was a bust. so sickly and a mess to drink with the fluff on the top it was all fluff no hot chocolate by the time I managed to scrape some of it off, I think I had too high expectations sadly.

Massive well done to Rhian who was working alone and dealt with a queue snaking around the store and out the door without breaking a sweat! :)

Not somewhere I would visit for a coffee, especially as only takeaway coffee, I would visit a coffee shop, but then they are not a coffee shop, a marshmallow shop whatever that means. If I wished for a desert, ice cream from the ice cream parlor in Bailgate (which sady has closed) or Bell's tea rooms top of Steep Hill or maybe an affogato at Bailgate Deli. Colour scheme garish, not in keeping with the character of Steep Hill. Depressing a local business opens and lacks empathy for their surroundings. We are in the midst of an obesity pandemic. A sugar tax long overdue. Obesity already costs the UK an estimated £58bn a year in NHS costs and lost productivity. Those hit worst by junk food are those in poverty. Takeaway plastic cups are not good. Plastic pollution is killing the planet. Micro-plastics are everywhere, in our water, the air we breathe. In our bloodstream, lungs, brain tissue. There are no litter bins on Steep Hill. Will we see a trail of plastic and other takeaway rubbish? Hopefully not. Do they send out litter pickers to collect discarded rubbish? Sadly Base Camp a coffee shop half way up Steep Hill no more. An excellent coffee shop. For coffee, only two coffee shops of note. Coffee Aroma and Madame Waffle, where can sit and relax with a coffee served in glass or ceramic, the only way to appreciate good coffee.
