What a great hidden gem of place. Very atmospheric & superb service. Highly recommend.

Would like to say I could recommend this place however we were served by an incredibly condescending and rude member of staff (the young guy with the big mullet style brunette hair). Sadly I have heard similar reviews from multiple other visitors as well about him. He was unnecessarily disrespectful and condescending to my partner despite her being nothing but polite to him. Completely ruins the novelty of the place.

Went for a cocktail masterclass with Davey for my boyfriend's birthday. Amazing experience, Davey was very knowledgeable telling us all about the history of each cocktail. Incredible birthday present and very suitable for people who don't know a lot about cocktail making. Would definitely recommend and was very worth the money.

Niche little speakeasy with a good selection on cocktails.

What used to be fair decent cocktail bar. Now clearly has an issue with the toilets. So it just smells awful upstairs. And unfortunately, to add to that, the cocktails aren't what they used to be either. Shame really. Really gone downhill

Went out on a date with my partner last night and we had a great time, our waiter Nettle has made us both feel comfortable and looked after. They also created a very fabulous cocktail that tastes like a green starburst. Having a very personable and magnanimous waiter really topped our experience at a lovely speakeasy. The drinks are beautifully crafted and are also made to suit one’s preferences regardless if on the menu or not. 10/10 recommend this somewhat hidden gem for a nice date night or just celebrating with a group of friends. Downstairs is much quieter for a more casual and intimate experience.

Came in with a group of friends, was met with delightful staff. Molly served our every question and order amazingly, couldn't have asked for a better night with friends

Came in on a friends recommendation, the atmosphere and cocktails were fantastic, I loved the service from Davey and Molly, their “roasted bramble” and “spicy 50” were honestly some of the best I’ve had. Highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a cocktail evening. Defiantly will be back

A little Gem within Lincoln! Crafted cocktail you won't see anywhere else and the atmosphere to match! Callum, Molly and Davey made us feel at home and kept the party going! Would recommend to anyone looking for a good night out in Lincon!

Don't let the entrance fool you, if you can work out how to open the door, you'll be greeted with a beautiful hidden gem of a cocktail bar. Great selection, reasonable prices.

Lovely hidden cocktail bar. First time I've actually managed to go in as it's usually too busy. Very friendly, polite & helpful staff. Good prices. Didn't try the food, just had cocktails. Would definitely visit again!

I booked a table for 9, for my partners 50th birthday celebrations. I checked the website to see if they had any restrictions on under 18s as my son, who is 16 was going to be with us, there was nothing on the website at all. When we turned up there was a doorman outside spoiling the whole secret speakeasy theme completely. He asked for my name for the booking then checked everyone's ID. I explained that my son was obviously not going to be drinking, but this was apparently not good enough and I was told that my 16 year old would have to leave before 9pm, giving us 20 minutes. He was rude and arrogant saying he had total control over who he let in to his bar. We went in hoping that the bouncer would just leave us alone. We were shown down a staircase to what looked like a dark grotty hole in the ground, not what I was expecting from a 1920s style speakeasy. As soon as we sat down we were approached by another member of staff who was also rude and aggressive saying my son had to leave. We asked to see the manager and the bouncer arrived again saying he was the owner and doorman, manager etc. He said I had to ask my son to leave. We left after 5 minutes disappointed and insulted. This place is not what I was expecting at all and the way we were treated was shocking. It nearly spoilt the evening. Luckily we found a much nicer place that welcomed us and we had a lovely time. I can't imagine this place will last long as it was hardly busy but turned away 9 people because of a stupid rule that they created themselves. Would not recommend to anyone

Absolutely amazing bar! The staff are always so attentive and knowledgable to make recommendations, and willing to make cocktails off the menu when asked to. Definitely my favourite place to go in lincoln

Vice is a lovely little speakeasy cocktail bar I thoroughly enjoy drinking in. The atmosphere is always light and full of laughter. A great place to meet new people and make new friends too. The staff are very knowledgeable in all drinks they make and serve and even in the past, I have tasted new cocktails, they have experimented with for new menus. They greet every customer that walks in, with a big smile and a welcoming tone. Every drink I have tasted has been absolutely amazing and worth every penny I pay. Definatley somewhere you should stop by in the next time you are in Lincoln. You'll have a great time.

GROSS, the smell of the toilets as you enter made me gag while waiting to be seated. Bar staff seemingly drunk at opening which was at 5? Fine with staff having a drink but the glazed over expression on service was off putting. Could tell people at the bar being served worked there as all attention seemed to be on them. Atmosphere was not fun, dim and cheap surroundings, not what you expected for a hidden indie bar. Staff loudly farted and laughed about it. Don’t recommend.

I've worked hospitality to close to half a decade now. I can honestly say this is the best bar I've set foot in for at least 3 years. A lovely gentleman called david greeted me and gave me recommendations based on flavour profiles I like, ( I've never even been asked that before). A lady called Molly made my drinks and I'm pretty sure it came straight from heaven! It was absolutely incredible. I'd also like to comment on the fact that the bar was so clean, and in a busy cocktail bar that's incredibly hard! And the toilets were kept neat and tidy at all times (I was there for 5 hours I liked it so much) I'd love to give a massive appreciation to the staff I can honestly say you made my anniversary so wonderful.

A smart set up true to the spirit of the speakeasy. I enjoyed a Pear Force One and Dealer’s Gambit with a friend. Friendly service and from speaking to management I can tell they take their customer service seriously. If you’re thinking about going, do it.

Usually love this place. Tonight was a disappointment. Ordered a bottle of Prosecco for £30, got a bottle of Tesco Cava instead, supplier alternative apparently. Leaves a bitter taste. Edit: thank you for such a nice reply. I’d love to come back for that bottle!

Best kept secret in Lincoln! Molly, Jess, Teddy and the rest will always make you feel welcome. Cannot recommend this bar enough! The owner, Robbie, looks after everyone so well. If anyone comes to Lincoln this will always be the first place I recommend!

Good atmosphere, for a secret bar I was expecting something out of the ordinary,, but the drinks were basically large shots in different old school glasses, and strong lager in a bottle. There's a ground floor bar and a basement bar, with toilets on the ground floor. If you didn't know it was here you would definitely not go in, as the front window would not indicate a bar whatsoever, which was the fascinating factor in it. bit disappointing, but it was busy so obviously a lot of people love it and I may be wrong, was a good experience though. Neat menu on a bar code, not a great selection but added to the anticipation.

Perfect spot to just chill with a cocktail and an amazing group of staff to talk to. The owner also welcomes everyone with open arms and great respect.(Teddy is hilarious and Molly makes amazing cocktails) 👍

This place is fantastic! Great range of cocktails at reasonable prices. The menu changes seasonally, which is a great excuse to come back periodically. The team are really knowledgeable and good at explaining any ingredients you want more information on. It's definitely worth booking a table as it's not a huge place. Some of the best drinks I've ever had.

Rude and unprofessional staff ruined the experience unfortunately and we would not recommend. Our table was very close to other customers and after we’d ordered and received our drinks the couple next to us left. We moved across to the vacant seats to be more comfortable. After a few minutes we were rudely confronted by a waitress who said we had to move as they had 3 people coming in. We thought this strange as there was other larger tables free - however, we didn’t want to make a fuss. After the people came in and ordered their drinks, the waitress proceeded to drink shots with them on the house whilst standing within inches of us - clearly they were friends and moved us to seat them. Ruined what was otherwise a nice night in Lincoln, very disappointed.

I popped into vice with the girls for a quick one and ended up spending the entire night there solely due to the blonde barmaid with the sultry voice! Her customer service and knowledge of the bar stock had us from the get go! Just Thankyou whoever you are, 10/10 would recommend she definitely deserves a raise!

Popped in here for a few drinks with friends. What looks like a TV shop is a trendy little bar with 2 levels. The staff were polite and friendly. Quite a selection of drinks on the menu. Definitely worth a visit if you like quirky places like this.

A transcendent experience from start to finish. The hospitality received on the door started the entire evening. We were seated in a beautiful bar, in a wonderful atmosphere. The drinks where professionally prepared and were simply amazing. A wonderful experience was had by every member of our party and the staff (from the owner Robbie and bar manager Molly especially, big shout out!) couldn’t do enough for us. If you’re looking for an authentic speakeasy experience, you must find this bar! Thank you guys!

Staff were wonderful, we didn’t book in but they found us a space at the bar and they serve real cocktails and nice spirits, molly was particularly accommodating to our requests for cocktails not on the menu, they clearly know what they’re doing

Absolutely lovely venue, nice and hidden away. Was skeptical with the electrical shop front but was blown away when I entered the place.... Drinks were top notch and the staff were amazing and on point throughout, would highly recommend if you're visiting!

Love the idea of a secret bar, cocktails overcomplicated. Something simple done well would have been better. Good playlist, managed to fit us in without a booking. Lamp was broken in corner too.

been to vice and co several times and never had any issues, however we came in last night and was served by a very confrontational member of staff. I ordered a vodka and coke only to be told they have no vodka, so instead i ordered gin and lemonade. our drinks came a long time later and they handed me a gin and 7up, to which I told the waitress again that I had ordered a lemonade as I dislike 7up. her reply was "tough, 7up is lemondade" and walked off. on top of that, other members of our party, who's drinks came out just minutes after mine, got vodka and coke. when I challenged the waitress she seemed embarrassed. really disappointing as I had never had an issue with vice before, but now would be reluctant to come back just because of this lady's rude service.

Visited Vice & Co for a reward after shopping in Lincoln. What a delight this place is, warm, welcoming and a superb customer experience from start to finish. The bar manager was attentive and knowledgeable about the cocktails they serve. Beautiful interior with obvious attention to detail. Definitely recommend this place and will revisit.

Arrived at vice and Co last Saturday with my partner and received a warm welcome from the manager Molly . It's a great atmosphere with a 1920,s speakeasy bar theme and the dusky lighting really sets the ambience for this . We had 3 drinks and all were amazing ! If you're in Lincoln visit this place , you won't be disappointed!!

Was in last night.. miscommunication over a booking for a larger party. They didn’t seem to be able to manage the booking despite taking our deposit for it. Then we were told that the booking for for 1.5 hours instead of 2, but we only managed to get 1 drink in 50 minutes. Only half of use managed to get a second drink with the last 30 minutes of the booking. Unfortunately, this is not adequate, and they should not have taken our booking if they cannot cope with it.

A bar for real enthusiasts. I've never had a bad drink in this place. You can see the time, effort and love the staff have for mixology. Whether you're looking for sweet and comfortable, spicy and different or just a stone cold classic, Vice is the only name in Lincoln for cocktails.

What a great hidden gem, went with a friend and the bar staff were friendly and approachable (observing current covid rules) the cocktails were perfectly made and we loved the menu, some unusual cocktails and we enjoyed trying these. Can't wait to go again
