We had a curry from here on Thursday omg the curry tasted amazing I love it was the most delicious curry I’ve had for a very long time highly recommend one of the best curry places in Burton Latimer

Sadly the lady in the cafe was quite unfriendly as we had arrived after hot food was being served. Managed to get drinks and a couple of dry scones. Nice selection of home goods and books.

Useless online experience. They seem to have changed their ordering system and old login details don’t work. Impossible to register for new account because activation email never arrives - I’ve tried three times. Resorted to competitor Mama Mia.

Cant fault the place food 100% staff

Superb service and fresh food right at the end of the evening at closing time. Served with a smile. Great people.

Waited 1hour 10 minutes for delivery. Our food was underwhelming, tasteless and bland.

The food was good value using the blue light card discount. Gail, the lady behind the bar is a credit to the restaurant. She quite clearly worked harder than any other staff there. The bar was busy, Gail was the only One serving and was quite happy to do so. If she was not happy, she hid it well. Some of the other staff were visibly not as busy, and certainly not as friendly and helpful as Gail.

Despite booking months in advance be prepared to be called the night before your stay to query if you really need the accessible room you have booked.

We had a family Sunday Lunch at The Vines We all really enjoyed it The roast beef was very good and plenty of it we only had 2 roast potatoes each so we asked for some more which we paid extra for but they were worth it Three of us had the Cherry Bakewell Eclair with Almond ice cream which was really lovely and nice to have something different for dessert The staff were very helpful and friendly

If I could go lower than 1* then I would, heard positive reviews about the place, gave it a try, completely backfired, food we ordered was completely bland & too dry, like they have been sat there too long & were someone else’s previous order & wasn’t made fresh.

Terrible service Ordered takeaway via the telephone repeated 3 times what we wanted delivered:- 2x Chicken BYIRIANY 2 XONION BHAJI 2 xBOMBAY POTATOES 3X POPADOMS AND 1 KEEMA NAN. FOOD arrived LUKE WARM order was wrong no popadoms rung up to complain sent a man out that came to the door with a bottle of coke!! Told him to go back and tell them that I wasn't happy and then he came back again with some popadoms. We had guests so we plated the food up and had to heat up each individual plate up as it was cold. Costed it up via the Menu on the website and it should have been ££41.80 including delivery not what we were charged which was £49.25 (we paid cash). NO APOLOGY!
