Decided to treat myself with a coconut milk cappuccino, bacon 🥓 bap and a chocolate tiffin after my physio appointment. Excellent coffee and chocolate treat 😋 the 🥓 bap had already been scoffed 😂

I want to highlight how amazing the three serving this morning were. Having severe peanut/tree nut allergies it's actually quite scary to drink/eat out. But once I mentioned my allergies the guy made sure to check the allergen folder and also asked his colleague to wash his hands prior to making my drink to avoid cross contamination and talked me through the measures they will take. Never have I had someone be so cautiously thorough and put me at ease. Also I went back up to the counter to get a napkin and it was below where the pastries (which some contain nuts) were behind the counter. The lady went to grab some for me and then I overheard the lady and guy saying about my nut allergies and saying they will both wash their hands and get a fresh pack of napkins out of the box instead. I want to thank all three for making the effort to be so careful. It not 'over the top' it's they understand its sometimes life.

Tbh this costa aint as good as others staff seem like they simply cannot be bothered everything seems a lot of work that noone wants to do. Cleaning always looks like it needs doing as tables and work tops are sticky. You stand there waiting to order to be ignored whilst they have a chat and play around. I ordered a salted caramel frappe it was discusting i order easy 3 a week this had to be the worst ever it was cold but not as cold as it should have been there was no sprinkles on the top and far to much cream like 50% was cream. There is a huge car park so thats easy parking but sadly like 1 bin??? all n all very disappointing and a total waste of my time and money. I dont mind losing money i can make more, but i will never have my time back. So in conclusion.... Boooo

Really dull inside no atmosphere. Bit scruffy. Coffee/strawberry frappe ok. Service as good as they could when busy. Counter bit messy.

Went in just before lunch weekday so wasn't too busy, staff very friendly and service was quick with a smile! Enjoyed our coffees.

One of the better Costas on the many I have visited. Nice service, most of the vegan range was in stock (unlike many others) and there were plenty of socket points

Disappointed to not get a vegan sausage and it seems to have taken off the breakfast deal.

I am very disappointed with the cleaning in this place! VERY DIRTY! I also noticed you do not have enough staff members, and some of you look busy and disorganised. If I came to spend there £12 I would really appreciate you clean this coffee shop or will take it further! TOO DIRTY! Do something! #costacoffe

Convenient situation, but the pastries mid morning was not fresh!

My absolute favourite local Costa, the staff are always lovely here no matter what time of day and my drinks are always made to perfection!

I like costa, nice drinks and good food, however the prices are horrific! Also the same windows in store have had dirty kids prints on them all week, the same crumbs have been under the same tables, and the bins are disgusting. There is obviously no cleaning schedule in this place, and I can only deduce that the management don't care. Also the customer service is awful. Same ladies on in the mornings that make no effort to smile or ask how you are, despite me smiling and saying 'good morning how are you? The reply back was a straight faced 'what can I get you'....rude.

There was a small queue (3 in front of me) and quite a bit of a wait. Came on after work tto meet a friend. Coffee was hot and tasty when it did eventually come. Tables a bit dirty and some needed clearing . Very few sandwiches but plenty of cakes.

Always good to get coffee. But just that little bit better from Costa

They will stop serve even its 15 min left.

Great Service ordered via app and collected with no fuss

Looks nice but maybe cleaning should happen. First time I’ve looked at a coffee machine and felt uncomfortable about getting a coffee. Staff are ok but always too few, and the cakes are always kept in their boxes instead of being put on display. Air con is always off too. Having read through the other reviews this clearly a place to avoid. The overall themes are “dirty”, “closes randomly “, “slow”, “stuff not available”, and unhappy staff (aka poor attitude etc but probably because they don’t like how it’s run either) I guess the franchisee is paranoid about wastage and spending money on staffing. Sweat the assets, sweat the staff and strangle a business. I wonder how many other ways they can find to cut costs. Shame really and there are plenty of other coffee shops around. The Costa coffee less than 5 minutes away is 100% better for example.

Staff are all very welcoming good people.

The coffee machine was filthy, the staff held the cups around where you drink. No saucers for latte or drinking chocolate. Tables were dirty.

Staff have a bad attitude even when they get the order wrong. Manager needs to get a grip.

Popped in after my son had a little operation for a cuppa and some cake. There was a little queue but didn't wait long at all. Found a table straight away.

Nice Costa never been to this one . Put off is the staff use headsets and thought they was talking to me but there talking to each other. I like full attention on customer ideally.

Was only serving hot drinks, staff was on phone to friend when serving customers and drive thru was closed.

Ok as Costas go. There is plenty of seating, relatively quick service, and it was clean at the time of visit. It has a drive thru, which I have noted can be really busy at times. Lots of parking, as on a retail park site, but pay attention to the signs so as not to overstay your alloted time or a fine will be heading your way! Some outdoor seating is available as well.

Friday 27th January 2023..just drove into this Costa coffee at 18.22 CLOSED!!! I knocked the door a worker come over to me said we are closed...l explained website says open til 19.00. He replied we don't have a contract with Google closed early. Disappointed won't visited this Costa again

A nice retreat when you have time to spare

The place was busy, and the staff were clearly stressed about it. They were very polite, and nice but the queues were long. The cake we had looked nice, but tasted a bit generic and didn't meet expectations.

Had to wait in a long queue for 25 minutes just to give our order...... Surely its not hard to take the orders and let us sit down to wait for it..... 2 staff standing around and only one person making the coffees....... Very poor customer experience

Always prompt and friendly service

Broken coffee machine and no points available, so it felt much less of a good experience.

Awful Costa! Drive Thru is closed with a sign stating the coffee machine is broken. Went inside, massive que and only 2 people serving. Very slow service. Took 15 mins just to get 1 cappuccino. Lack of staff seems more like the reason the Drive thru is closed. The whole place looked messy and needs a good clean, behind the counter looked like a bomb had gone off! Same cups used for what looks like the whole day for the coffee, looked dirty. I desperately needed my coffee, i hope i don't get sick from poor hygiene standards! Staff don't seem to care that everyone is waiting. Yes it's frustrating but we can all understand staff shortages, would a "sorry for the wait" really hurt them to say? Definitely not a good experience here. Will not be visiting again, I would have got better service, coffee and cheaper across the road at McDonald's!

Compared to other Costa’s in the area this one has been the most disappointing. I ordered a medium Chocolate Fudge Brownie Frappe. I wouldn’t call it a medium, minimal dairy swirl compared to normal and the barista forgot the toppings on top. I’ll go to the one down the road next time. Such a let down

Nice to pop in before heading home having finished work. Lots of people came in after us despite the place closing in under an hour. Only one person serving so queue longer than usual. Didn't want food or cakes luckily as these were behind a screen or out of stock. A nice interlude after a busy day

Very clean and nice friendly staff

Nice spacious place offering a drive thru option. The tables are kept clean, toilets are too and the staff are friendly. The only negative would be that it does get very busy at peak times with queues running outside, not Costas fault though, it just reflects the popularity.

Have visited this Costa several times over the past year. Unfortunately it seems to be a regular occurrence that the drive thru is shut, or the store has been closed early with no reason given, which makes it very hard to know when you can actually grab a drink from here, or rely on the opening times. Usually end up going to the Costa in Tesco over the road since the service and drinks are better there

Well service was super slow at 4pm on a friday with 3 staff and about 10max people in the store, the person making coffee would only make one drink at a time and not once to i hear or see them clear or clean the milk steamer also saw them pure a coffee shot into a well used coffee mug... Tho i did get the most chocolately hot chocolate I've ever had from any costa hence a two star due to poor cleaning standards.

Seems under staffed and the layout of the store is awkward when waiting for coffee etc.

First time visiting today as I was in the area for work and desperate for some food and a coffee. I ordered a brownie, panini and an iced latte and it came to over £17. I realised once I'd made payment that this must have been a mistake, so I asked for a receipt. The young lady serving was unable to print me a receipt, so I asked her for a breakdown of costs so I can record my business expenses (and also check the pricing!). Once she read back the individual costs of my order, it totalled around £10 something - she still hadn't realised or mentioned the fact she had just taken over £17 for the order. I very politely asked if there is a mistake as the maths doesn't add up... she then said 'Oh yeah, I've charged you for three lattes for some reason... sorry' She then refunded the difference. Not a huge issue, but for an overpriced Coffee Chain which I tend to avoid (unless desperate), I most definitely would not be happy with them over charging me. Perhaps the staff should be more careful when taking the order, to ensure there are no mistakes.

Shayla, wow. A lovely lady. I really hope she does well in her life. We had a lovely conversation about allergens. SO KNOWLEDGEABLE, so refreshing. I didnt know what coffee I wanted, she layed out the pros and cons of them :-). She baked the banana bread herself too

Perhaps we caught this Costa on a bad day, Sunday a couple of weeks ago about 2pm. Every table needed cleaning and clearing, each staff member had a headset on and all seemed to be holding their own conversation while serving, which was rude. Even when the serving queue had cleared, nobody set about clearing the tables and even when one girl did start clearing them she was still holding conversation with other staff and when near our table covered her mouth which gave the impression she was talking about us. Overall a really poor experience that I won't be repeating.

Was closed, website says 8pm and was closed at 7.30pm.

Didn't have any cold drinks, didn't have any straws, 2 drinks took more than 10 min to get ready even though it was only 2 people before us, when our drinks were ready the girl who made them just turned her back to us and didnt even hand them out even though we were standing right there. Very poor service pity because it's in such a great location.

The only reason for the low rating is one member of staff tall skinny female was very unprofessional laughing and joking though thier mic to other members of staff then was also talking on her phone while serving customers I told her three times I wanted to pay by gift card but she was more bothered by chatting to someone on the phone and her friends through the mic. She never even acknowledged us standing there waiting to be served meanwhile the que was backing out towards the door. Not professional at all!

Drinks are always well made and staff are lovely, especially Millie who works at drive thru - she was super helpful and friendly! Her great customer service has made me a regular here now 🤩

Its good the coffee ☕ is good and tea's. No good if you are in a rush,as they are slow. Plus if you go in late afternoon,the chances are they have filled the counter for the next day.you cant bye any 🍰.i tried but was told i couldn't.as the counter was being filled for the next day. But i still go in again

This place is so irritating! Randomly opens and closes so you never know if it will be open. Drive way is sometimes randomly closed. Never has any hot choc powder. Urghhhhhhh!!!!

I had to say products were of a good quality and coffee wasn't burnt. I'll give it 3 stars only because it took almost 10 minutes for a warm milk and 2 chocolates to be served.

All the Costa fare and good service with loads of great comfortable seating available.

Arrived at 2:15pm; sat down with drinks and a bite to eat, only to be told at 2:30pm 'the shop was closed and we had to leave by Staff who was curt. Nothing like feeling staff are being paid to jack in work early and still get paid!!

The server spent 10 minutes talking to someone else without even acknowledging us, then proceeded to be really slow with our order and ended up giving us a dirty knife.

Coffee is mediocre never fully hot and the service is indifferent. The Costa in Tesco's nearby is 100000 times better.

The actual cafe is disgusting, it looks like the never clean the place, the place was only built last year. The staff are so lazy and slow, they all need to be trained from the ground up again. The quality of drinks is very inconsistent. Only reason it gets two stars is because of the drive thru, which is slow as well. Not a very good atmosphere and place to go, one of the worst costas I've been too.

Good COVID cleaning. Tables and chairs wiped between users. Shame that so many tables occupied by people working on laptops when seating is so scarce.
