The best restaurants in Kettering East Midlands

Afternoon tea disappointment. Terrible service throughout our afternoon. It was meant to be special occasion for us , unfortunately it was ruined by waiting staff who couldn't care less. Every time we wanted to order something my husband had to get up go to the bar and ask. We waited for 30 min sitting at our table and nobody came in to take our order . Shocking behavior for such a lovely place. Food was good but really do not recommend this place .We expected something really nice ( even McDonald's will bring you food to the table ) .

My friends and I hired the orangery for a bridal shower afternoon tea. The team were incredible both via email in the lead up to the day and on the day itself. It could not have gone smoother and it is a day that I’ll remember forever thanks to the wonderful team that were a part of it - special thanks to Polly and Emma! P.S - the egg and cress sandwiches are a high that I’ll be chasing for quite some time. Absolute perfection.

We had a catch up with friends for drinks while on holiday from Scotland. Unfortunately one of our party took unwell, and Richard the landlord and a colleague provided exceptional customer service by taking him back to where he was staying. We can’t thank them enough for taking the time out on a Friday night to do such a grand gesture. We are back in April, and will definitely take another trip to this wonderful place.

Ordered egg n bacon ..asked if have on toast as didnt want pancakes or waffals.and ordered extra toast ...got charged extra toast just to have egg bacon on toast wanted more money if req extra.was told ok to changed it to toast .con

Very friendly and helpful staff, helping me get 2 disabled people in and settled. Food was amazing too. Will definitely go again when we're in Kettering

Sitting out in the garden decided we were very hungry and fancied a takeaway . We decided on Dominos and it came very quickly. There was plenty and all very tasty.

£3.50 for a 9" garlic bread and it was drier than a piece of toast with nothing on it and they weren't interested in rectifying the issue. Two bites and it was crap. And just too add the place looked grubby. Wont go there again and you should also avoid

Didn’t visit restaurant but had takeaway - best Indian food in 20 years can’t believe didn’t know this place existed will now be a regular - food perfect excellent value great choice.

Hadn't booked for a Saturday lunch but the manager still found us a table almost instantly. Happy to accommodate the dog, the servers were all smiley and friendly, their service was fantastic, the food was excellent (cheese soufflé 👌) and a lovely walk afterwards. Go, you won't regret it

I love the good...they do so nice food , Have you clean? Very good quality and very tasty. I will recommen.

The photo showing the dirty carpet must be years old as this Pub has not served food for many years, but if you want a great welcome and great Ales this is the place to be.

Their bar lounge is very comfortable. We took our dog into the bar/lounge for Valentine's day lunch. My husband really enjoyed his fish and chips. Lovely atmosphere/ambience. We' definitely go again.

Very nice place, good food, we tried all the 🥩 , good, medium rare as asked. Will go back for sure.
