Pancake House in Kettering

Before taking a seat I was informed of a 30min wait for food and only two other tables in use. Kids really enjoy the milkshake and crepes but feel menu is on the pricey side. Older female member of staff is very frantic and came across slightly rude, made me feel as if I was a hindrance not a valued customer.

came here for breakfast and it was terrible had to ask for sauce and got a tiny pot of it also had to ask for sugar for my coffee mushrooms were uncooked didnt look appealing pancakes were burnt at the bottom terrible, paid £40 and still left hungry couldnt eat it, not coming again!

Friendly service from the staff. Nice fresh coffee and the breakfast menu is pretty extensive, from pancakes (of course) to crepes and toast with all kinds of bacon, sausages and vegetarian options.

Popped in with the Grandaughter and little one and was very impressed,that I popped in again with my other grandaughter the next day. Lovely and clean and very friendly and cheerful staff. Great menu. Opted for Americano coffee and Bacon bagel both times. Banana milkshakes and children's beans on toast also went well. Lots of sweet menus to choose from too! Recommend this place.

Im disappointed with the service. I went in with my son, we’d been waiting for a table outside in the rain. we sat down ready to order and a member of staff asked us to move as they would be reserving this table for a bigger party. There were no other tables available. Other than a two seater high bar table (there was three of us and I am 38 weeks pregnant). Meaning we had to leave the shop with a crying 7 year old. I feel maybe they should of planned this better to avoid disappointment.

I came in here this afternoon with my mum (Been wanting to try for ages) We sat at a table and there was a purple cloth to one side of table, the waitress came over in quite a stern/harsh way saying "I need to clean table (Fair enough) that's why I left my cloth" My mum said SORRY we didn't know, it was just her tone of voice that got me and my mum looked quite peeved/upset. Anyways we sit there decide what we're having, waitress says I'll be with you in a minute, rather than take our order she carries on cleaning table approx 10 tables. We waited and waited then decided to WALK OUT, I'll NEVER set foot in this place again!!

We popped while hunting for breakfast and we’re very lucky to stumble across this place. The pancakes were light and fresh and the service was great. Big selection too

Ordered breakfast from here via Uber eats and I was highly delighted. Excellent food and looked really good ( often deliveries from other places look a bit underwhelming) needed a minute in the microwave to get warm enough but that was hardly their fault. Will happily order from here again and will visit when safe to do so. It was a very good price.

Highly recommend this place. Visited at my daughter's request. Great prices and portions and amazing food. Waffles, bagels and pancakes all fab. Oreo milkshake an absolute must. Will be back

So glad we found this little gem. Food comes in good portions, quality coffee, have visited a few times now. Has become a family favourite to go to.

The Pancake house has lovely menu. A lot of mouth watering dishes which meet both adult and children's appetite. A very warm, clean and relaxing environment. you are allowed to choose the type of bacon you want.

Our family all enjoyed our brunch at Pancake House, where we had ordered a variety of savoury and sweet dishes, milkshakes, and smoothies.My Classic Chicken Club crepe, Gundel waffle, and Strawberry-Snickers milkshake were truly delectable.We will certainly be returning to this fine, seemingly family-run establishment to enjoy more of their tasty fare.

This is a very nice Pancake restaurant that is also great value for money. It’s very clean and modern looking inside and the staff are very friendly. We have been many times and always had a great experience here, the kids love it too.We have an autistic son who is very specific with what he eats and likes his pancakes cool before eating so they put it in the fridge while the others are being made so it comes out cool and at the same time as the rest of the order. We love the the Pancake House and will be back again soon.

Popped in to have something to eat and I was blown away by the selection of food there. They sell both savoury and sweet grub that are all made in an open kitchen so I was able to see what I was going to be served. On thop of that, everything is freshly made! So if you want the usual "1 minute microwaved-pancakes", this place is not for you.To sum up, the food was really yummy and the milkshake is superb. I will definitely go back there.

Popped in with young grandchildren. Great staff in there. Came and sat with young grandaughter and helped her choose a milkshake. They loved it.

The pancakes are amazing and a huge choice for both adults and kids. We all loved the food on our visit and the prices were very reasonable. They were busy when we visited but service was still adequately fast. Will be visiting again soon!

I like to support local businesses and thought would give it a try. Nice milkshakes. Good selection of pancakes sweet and savoury. Very noisy in there and was hard to hear or have a conversation. Chairs being scrapped very noisy. Not recommended for people with hearing aids as my mum couldn’t bare the noise either. Will perhaps come back again when a very quiet period as can imagine it being nice

Popped in not expect g much but wow!!! Needed a dairy free and the chef and waitress didn't bat an eye!! I had the most amazing waffle piled up with fruit et. And maple syrup. We're definitely going to be going back again

I loved the atmosphere and the kindness of the staff. The pancakes are delicious and huge. Not a problem to ask some special. For example I asked vegan pancake and it was on my plate 5 minutes later.

Fairly quiet on a Thursday lunchtime so decided to give this place a try. Our verdict was this it was ok and we should try it again sometime. Friendly service and the pancakes arrived quickly ....perhaps too quickly. Felt that the pancakes had been made awhile and the ham and egg added after we ordered. So perhaps a little disappointing but Kettering needs places like this so we will return for sure.

Ordered two chocolate milkshakes this afternoon. Friendly service and delicious tasting milkshakes. The menu has plenty of options with fair pricing. However, my girlfriend found a bit of peanut butter in her chocolate milkshake which came up the straw. Luckily she does not have any allergies. We notified the staff and they were very apologetic and quickly resolved the problem by making a new one. Maybe they need to wash out the blender to prevent this in the future, especially for customers who have peanut allergies! All in all though, it was an excellent little stop. Definitely recommend.

Fantastic service, very nice staff. And their pancakes.... yummie!!!! Highly recommended! We will definitely go back.

Went to the Pancake House at the weekend. Went there with my daughters, one boyfriend and fiancé.

Really good food. Reasonable prices with quite a large selection and (most importantly for me) very tasty waffles!

We visited the day after it opened, ordered pancakes with maple syrup and asked for bacon on top too. We ordered a mocha and a snickers milkshake too.

Went for breakfast with my Nephew, great nephew and great niece, nice place and everyone enjoyed their food and drinks, my great niece had Nutella and strawberry pancake and stopped short of licking the plate, my great nephew had ham omelette and ate it all, nephew had eggs and bacon pancake with maple syrup and really enjoyed it and I had eggs benedict, generous portions and really enjoyable, my great niece had decided she wanted to go back every day, so that first visit was a success. The staff are friendly and it is really clean.

Our 2nd time here. Great waffles, crepes and milkshakes. Lovely members of staff. Nice variety menu. Well worth a try.

Our breakfast took ages to come. While we waited we watched a couple who ordered after us get their order (identical to ours) first. Conversation was difficult because the blender used to make smoothies from frozen fruit was going most of the time. It was painfully loud. The noise alone would've made me leave if we hadn't already ordered. After a good half hour the food arrived. It was all barely tepid. The ingredients were low quality. The egg had been blackened on a hotplate but was uncooked inside. The pancakes were not served with butter, although the staff were quick to bring some when we asked. The maple favoured syrup was cheap and unpleasant. We ate what we could and left as soon as possible. I felt queasy for some time afterwards.

This was our second visit to the pancake house, as our first visit was actually a good experience. Sadly the second time will be the last time.

I had eggs benedict. The hollandaise was clearly a cheap jarred version, very vinegary. One slice of that square supermarket value ham so thin I worried I might cut myself. Won’t be returning.

Me and my friend went here today and I'm disappointed with what I got! I ordered a strawberry and nutella waffle and I specifically asked if it was real nutella, she said yes... it wasn't real nutella, it was cheap chocolate sauce. I really wouldn't mind that it was just chocolate sauce if she had just said no it's not real nutella but she lied to my face and told me it's real nutella. big portions but very disappointed by the chocolate sauce sold as nutella...

Walked in, and really enjoyed the look of the place! Menus and prices great! Ordered a take away which was made in ok time. Specifically asked if the nutella advertised was genuine nutella and was told yes, to watch my waffle be made with Tesco 10P chocolate sauce! The waffle was bad quality and I asked the lady 'can you add chocolate bars on to the waffles?' As I seen a massive range of chocolates all over the shelves. She said yes and me expecting snickers all over the waffle melted etc with nutella, the woman hands me a bar of snickers in the wrapper??? And chargers me £1.50 ?? I asked her can you put it on the waffle and she put the whole thing boom on the top. So I paid 1.50 for a mini bar of snickers :/

I’ve been here a couple times now, it’s one the best places in Kettering! Amazing food! ❤️ Real wholesome food! Best scrambled eggs I’ve ever had! Staff is excellent! The only thing I could say would be to make it bigger but it’s not possible as it’s a fixed size! But absolutely recommend this! Great for couples dates too!
