The Parkhouse Milestone Restaurant in Kettering

Excellent food , me sirloin, wife Fish and chips, friend pie. No complaints. Welcomed the 30% off. I am disabledbut found no problems.

Food was ok but had to wait 50 minutes for the food and no apology for how long we had to wait. Also booked upstairs and was moved downstairs in bar area.

Bit dissapointed as I'd booked online, top floor @ 615-815. Got there 630, the top floor was closed and our table had been given away as they didn't think we were coming! Got another table given. Put us on the backfoot as I don't like eating downstairs. Ordered the food and it was as good as it usually is. Good, friendly service as well.

We visited on a Friday night and were very well looked after by George and Carla, who were helpful and polite. The food was OK, being served on red hot plates, however the actual food was not as hot as the plates suggested it should be and being a slow eater mine was cold before I got to the end. That said the portions were adequate. We were, however, disappointed in the mushrooms which were tiny and shrivelled up! The bottle of red wine was decent at £24.

Me and my mum went to the park house Kettering we had to wait an hour for our meal and when the meal came the food was poor the cheese burger was burnt and hard the fries were hard as well and my sausages were burnt and they had no mash.its not cheap to eat here and I won't be going back to eat there.

We went for lunch with friends,we were all impressed with the menu selection. Our choices were sent out swiftly starters and main meals all was hot and tasty. We were all very happy and impressed with the service, prices and our meals.

Good food and excellent service. Unfortunately just as we finished eating and we’re starting our second drink my daughter phoned to say she’d been in a car accident. The girl who served us couldn’t have been more helpful and caring as we rushed to pay the bill. I didn’t get her name but she was serving upstairs at around 5pm on Sunday 21st April. I’d just like to say a massive thank you to her.

Been here a few times now and always had a nice meal. The food is lovely nice selection on the menu. Service and staff are always helpful and friendly. Definitely recommend a visit.

We were not advised of an extended delay (45 minutes+) on food orders. Food eventually arrived - all other tables were similarly delayed. One meal was distinctly luke warm, the other was fine. The advertised wine was not available. We had a voucher for 30% off. Unlikely to return.

Very dog friendly, with a section of the bar available for visitors with dogs. Bowls, water & dog treats provided. Great selection on the menu plus specials. The 4 of us all enjoyed our meals which arrived promptly, hot & nicely presented. Staff very friendly. Great selection of drinks

Overall a disappointing visit. Went with a party of 12 for a Birthday meal and was sadly underwhelmed. Prices seem high v food quality and two of our party had Steak which one was not edible. When complaining no resolve was offered and we were still charged for the meal. This place used to be cheap and cheery and now it’s not cheap but the quality has not improved. I live on the same estate and all this visit reminded me was why we don’t use the pub and standards are low.

Very accommodating! A big thank you to Rob who was very accommodating, when adapting my meal for me! The mixed grill was lovely, the steak was cooked perfectly and the side salad was huge not to mention delicious. Thank you chef.

We love coming here to eat and have never had a bad experience. We choose upstairs dining and always feel like we have space around us. It’s nicely busy. My husband is coeliac and The Park House has its own NGCI menu with lots of choice including desserts that aren’t just ice cream. Leigha and Atlanta added to the dining experience with their smiles making us feel welcome and able to answer any questions.

Family meal on Easter Sunday. Three lovely roasts and a lasagne .all very good. Service with a smile from leigha as always . Food very tastey and service excellent.

Really enjoyed our Saturday evening meal, loved the new menu with plenty to choose from. We booked an upstairs table as it is vey comfortable with great table service, all of the waiting staff were excellent and attentive. Considering it was a Saturday evening the service time was very good. Our starters, cheese melts were lovely, for main we enjoyed the fish and chips (fish was particularly good) and chicken kebab and fries, all delicious! Two starters, two mains and two drinks was £52 which we thought was very reasonable. I booked again when we arrived home and very much looking forward to our next meal.

generally it was very good value BUT the coupon we had been given valued at £30 towards the cost - so we went a little extra on the menu had £30 before we started - WELL - it didn"t work despite being tried on 2 tills and 2 different people - the supervisor said that the issue had happened before this week and if happened again to ring "head office" - BUT not after 5pm or weekends - we were there 6.30 on a Wednesday - we gave our number and name to the very helpful server - but so far no one has been in touch - pretty poor ............... the meal was good but hadn"t planned to spend an extra £30 - guess they are "sorry" but some sort of compensation or a phone call would have been nice - I guess they had the £30 weeks before - rant over !
