I would visit Seasons more often with friends if a cup of coffee (latte) was nicer. We like to have a sit down and catch up as well as a look round. We all think that if they invested in proper coffee making facilities it would benefit them. We know quite a few people who say the same.

We have just started our festive celebrations with a Christmas Lunch at Seasons Garden Centre, as we did last year. We had a three course meal, crackers, coffee and mints for £22. A brilliant way to start the seasonal cheer. The meal was excellent, the service was wonderful, an all round happy experience. A BIG THANK YOU to the manager ,Dawn, and all her staff. David King

This is the last time I will be eating here. The service is terrible and the food awful. There’s a short, middle aged woman with tanned skin and tattoos who is one of the rudest servers I have ever met and I can say this having been served by her three times now. Very abrupt and service certainly not with a smile. Ordered the broccoli and cauliflower bake, which came with salad and two slices of garlic bread. Asked for vege instead of the salad and garlic bread and was given two spoonfuls of anaemic looking peas and carrots. One tiny, tiny bit of cauliflower in the bake and shavings of broccoli. How it could be called a broccoli and cauliflower bake i do not know. Lacking taste.

Went to Seasons for lunch with a friend today, hadn't been there for ages. Both had cottage pie with veg. Well, the pie was ok but portion size is so small now to what it used to be. What was on the plate was mostly mash, very little mince and at £10 per meal I feel a little ripped off. Both of us commented later that we were hungry again, hadn't filled us up at all. Used to be a belly buster meal, now kiddies portions. Won't be visiting again in the near future!

Good food, jacket potato was exactly what was required and it's nice that you can walk here from hanwood park. Do be careful where you sit in the cafe if you have a dog. We sat on an empty table, ordered food and it wasn't until after we had paid that they said we couldn't sit in the area the side of the food. They did let us sit there though in the end as there wasn't any alternative, but it was very awkward at the time.

Ordered cheese ploughman’s for lunch for both myself and my father. Jacket potato was ordered for mum. Upon arrival we were shocked to see the ploughman’s salad. It looked like a handful of side salad was put on the plate with a small pork pie, 2 slices of cheese , 3 small silver skin onions and coleslaw . No crisps as stated on description on menu. I asked for the crisps and these were slammed down on to the table by a very rude waitress. She then proceeded to tell us that these were not brought out originally as we had coleslaw which was not on the menu. Her customer service skills were zero. My mum had more salad on her plate as a side salad. It was my dad’s birthday and we wanted a nice lunch. Spoilt by the quality of the food and the very rude server. Not value for money.

I've been here many times and was hoping it had improved, but sadly it hasn't infact it has got worse if you just want flowers then fine but nothing here has changed for years the cafe is extortionate prices £12.05 for a muffin cake (very dry)and a small slice of lemon cake and two small/regular cups of coffee, well I'm not being awkward but these are airport prices for essentially bog standard cafe food. The stock here for your garden is sooo old it's not been updated for years how on earth the owners are still in business beggars belief?? I won't mention the competition that are around but there are now garden centers that are within a twenty mile radius that you can go to and they have become a whole day experience.. It's a real shame as this garden centre is in a great position and has the space to expand but has failed to grow with the times.

While the fish section of the garden centre which I visit often is great - what is not is the parrots and their care. Sure, while African Grays and Amazons can be very prone to plucking, their tank has nowhere near enough natural perches, toys and things to keep them stimulated. The signs say they have tried everything, but clearly they havent tried investing in either cages for a while - the perches that are there are heavily worn. Both parrots are also fed entirely seed diets from what I can see - this will lead to eventual fatty liver disease - even at a minimum they should be on pellets, but veg / chop is preferred. It would not take a store employee very long to keep up with their fresh food intake. The water bowl is left to fester, when it should be washed everytime they poo in there. Really dissapointing to see that these reviews of poor parrot care go back 5-6 years, clearly they havent tried to put any effort in.

Well I have been reading some of the other reviews and find they are far from the truth...especially when it comes to the cafe/restaurant. It's terrible. They might just have been having a bad day but the food was diabolical. .. We ordered several jacket potatoes. ..with filling...They were terrible. This is a very simple basic thing to cook along with fillings. .. Very small potatoes which were cooked OK. . But the fillings were terrible I have never seen such poor fillings..and the amount which was actually on the potatoe dish was minuscule to say the least..Poor quality terrible. Was supposed to be Chilli con carne??? A sniff of meat couple of kidney beans. ..terrible. ..Who ever is cooking this hasn't got a clue...It's not a chef for sure or anyone who knows about cooking...The presentation was awful. ..How the waitress must feel putting this in front of customers I do not know embarrassing. ...The whole restaurant needs a kick up the arse along with whom is ever in charge..The other fillings were just as shocking. ALSO what do you do with the salad....Chopping it up into tiny little pieces as a side is ridiculous. ..it looks awful, becomes watery and looks about as appetising as a wet squid run over by a steam roller.... Such a shame you have an opportunity to make a nice restaurant, but your food is poor...

Excellent service friendly and helpful staff. The food was excellent and nicely served particularly as the restaurant was full with a couple of large groups. Would highly recommend.

Good place for a reasonably priced lunch/early dinner and the Meal Deal is especially good value for money. The choices on this menu are not as wide as when we first started visiting but the meals that are left are sufficiently varied so I'm sure there would be something to suit everyone. We do occasionally order from the main menu depending on when we visit but our favourite time is during 12-6 Monday to Friday when the Meal Deal operates. Our server yesterday was Louise who makes you feel 'special' even when rushed off her feet and cannot do enough for you. When time allows she will always stay and have a chat which is quite refreshing these days and much appreciated. We'll be back shortly so looking forward to another reasonably priced meal and with any luck we'll be met by the friendly face of Louise once again. Can't wait.

Been before, had a takeaway. Was quite nice. Decided to take my partner and 6 month old baby for lunch. Got there at 1pm on a Saturday, the place is open serving people. For us to be turned around and told us the kitchen is closed but coffee is still being served. Turned down another customer behind us with the same answer. I would have thought a little coffee shop would have open arm invited us for food too if we wanted. 2x customers with a possibility of spending what £20 each? So because they couldn’t be arsed to cook some food they lost £40 of business! Yet they sit there with outdated decor and quite a dull appearance. Get some effort put in jeez!
