The Atmosphere: Cosy, Welcoming & Perfectly British 🍺🔥 From the moment we walked in, The Wayfarers felt like home—but with better food and fewer washing-up duties. The staff are fantastic, the decor is charming without trying too hard, and there’s a proper, old-school pub warmth that makes you want to settle in for the long haul. The kind of place where you arrive for lunch and suddenly it’s dinner time, and you’re mysteriously still there. The Food: Sunday Roast Perfection 🥩🍗 Let’s get to the main event—the roast dinner. We’re talking about plates so beautifully stacked with meat, roast potatoes, and Yorkshire puddings that you consider taking a photo but are too hungry to wait. The portions are generous, the gravy is rich and plentiful (as it should be), and the veg is cooked just right—none of that sad, over-boiled nonsense here. • The beef? Cooked to perfection—not so tough you need power tools to cut it, not so rare that it’s still mooing. • The chicken? Juicy, well-seasoned, and absolutely not just an excuse to eat more stuffing (but let’s be honest, the stuffing was incredible). • The roast potatoes? Crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and so good you’d happily eat a whole plate of just them. • Yorkshire puddings? 10/10 beautiful lamb and chicken dinner. Chips very nice, chilli sauce full of flavour. Very friendly lady serving. Highly recommend

Staff are so lovely here, i went for one last time before it shuts down forever. Sad times

Their bar lounge is very comfortable. We took our dog into the bar/lounge for Valentine's day lunch. My husband really enjoyed his fish and chips. Lovely atmosphere/ambience. We' definitely go again.

Useless Costa app lost my logging details 😤

Shocking got burnt pizza. Ordered 2 pizzas 1 was perfect 2nd was burned. How a human felt it was ok to box and send it. It was cold on arrival too but that was uber. So I got a burnt cold pizza. Spoke to a manager who said if I take it back he will get it replaced. I have used this place loads to sit in and eat. Young chat called (N****) always helpful polite and keeps on top. But the home delivery tonight was shocking. Spoke to manager (A*****) told me to ask uber for refund or bring it in. Told him to have words and show pictures to the staff member who cooked and boxed my pizza. It's 2c not driving 4 miles to replace something I ordered as too cold to go out.

Food was good and served quickly. Staff friendly.

Ordered today food arrived piping hot and was really nice dropped off by a polite delivery driver.

Just had a nice meal here, being a Monday evening it was quiet but the service was good and the food also good.

And again I haven’t received everything in my order ; missing a Maltese Flurry

Very happy with the service i had with the manager Glenn and Lucy . Very polite and made me feel comfortable and welcome. Very professional customer services enjoyed visiting Tescos Costa Kettering .
