Me and my husband had an evening meal out at the park house, the service was stunning from start to finish very attentive and polite. The food was amazing, very tasty, I had a mixed grill and it was one of the best steaks I’d had, it was tender and perfectly cooked with zero fat! Will definitely be returning

This was mine and my wife's 3rd time eating at the park house she is a nervous eater and never eats out but now after having and evening meal and 2 Sunday lunches its now her go to we look forward to coming back the food is lovely and very filling and the staff are always polite

Was busy for a Monday night and we were well looked after party of 10 people and everyone was happy with the entire evening and food was great

Starter portions really small main meals not many chips but better portions of other ok as long as you don't go when they got poker player come in they take over where you are eating and then you have to squeeze past them to get out

Visited on Easter Sunday. 5 of us. The service was excellent, very friendly and helpful. The meal was hot came quickly and was really good. We ordered drinks, 2 sunday roast, 2 Hunters chicken, 1 lasagne. 2 cheese cake, 3 chocolate Sundays all were lovely. A most pleasant experience. Will definitely be going again. The service made it enjoyable, being served with a smile. Made all the difference.Thank you to all the staff who made it so nice.

Made a booking for a big family gathering for Easter Sunday 28 in all. Service and food was wonderful. All meals came out really close together even with 16 steaks all requested cooked various ways! We had a lovely time and shouting out and thanks to Cobie, Alex C, Adrian and Ethan. And Alex B organising the booking and the pre orders.

We went here for Easter, there was 20+ of us and they were superb! All of the food was amazing and the service even better!

Had not been to the Park House for a few years, but have to say I was very happy upon recently returning. The staff went out of their way to be helpful and polite and the food was also very good. We’d definitely go back again.

Staff looked miserable, especially the young chap bringing the food. We had no further interaction until the table was cleared for dessert. Then we were not asked if the food was to our satisfaction. We then had to go and ask for our desserts to be brought, the restaurant was virtually empty by now. I thought the bill was good value however as the food was hot and everyone seemed to enjoy theirs. A brief thanks and goodbye was given by the young lady stopping below the bar as we left. The restaurant was clean and tidy but the men's toilet was claustrophobic and the cubicle took some manoeuvring by myself to shut the door once inside it was so small. Perhaps the staff were having an offer say, but the whole almostphere was like a chapel of rest. 9/10 for food quality and portion size, however.

We went on a Wednesday evening to take advantage of the curry and a drink offer for £12.95. It was quite busy but our order was taken quickly by Ethan who was very friendly. Our drinks arrived and were quickly followed by our Curry. The food was piping hot and very tasty, I had the Chicken Tikka Masala and my hubby had the Chicken Korma, both served with pilau rice, naan bread and poppadom, we thoroughly enjoyed it! We decided to have a pudding, I had the Chocolate Brownie Sunday and my hubby had the Mint Chocolate Tart, both arrived swiftly and were delicious. All in all a very enjoyable evening, the food and service was great.

Went with my boyfriend on a Wednesday night tip to self do not take the dog on quiz night. Ended up taking the dog home and sitting upstairs, steak and pizza was amazing. Boyfriend disappointed they ran out of guiness. Overall lovely pub will definitely will go again

Nice Pub great service and a good atmosphere, came down from Leeds to visit relatives called in about 5 months ago, good food on that occasion and happy this time, been critical the Steaks were a little tough, the drinks were fine, but the wine glasses need changing like something from the 60s, apart from that overall happy.

1 of the meals was a bit bland, over cooked. southern fried burger. Also the deserts chocolate brownie sundae had loads of ice cream but hardly any marshmallow and 1 measly half a cube of brownie at the bottom. the description says marshmallow bits with choc brownie bites. Well i think somebody forgot to tell the chef to put them in. Very disappointed as we always used to visit but hence why we not been back within a year and probably wont be back anytime soon. its a shame as was always our go to restaurant.

Atlanta was Suberb she looked after us so well. She was so friendly, advised us on our meal choices and as a result we had the most fantastic evening. This rekindled our desire to come back to the Park House. You should employ more people like Atlanta who actually care about the customer!

Atmosphere was nice. Service was a bit slow (wasn’t busy) server was lovely though and friendly with smiles. Food was ok.

This place constantly brings the same ok/acceptable same pub food quality that you will not disappoint you. Again the 3 star for the food doesn't mean it's bad, but it would be unfair with any local restaurants that serves food to give 4 or 5 Stars to this place. All the options are ok, price wise it's also ok the staff is always amazing they do the extra miles for the customer. You can clearly see that they are under staffed but still they do their absolute best to keep you happy. If you don't crave anything dance just to pop down to Pub/Restaurant for a quick meal then I can highly recommend this place to anyone.

We took our dog into the bar/lounge for Valentine's day lunch. My husband really enjoyed his fish and chips. Lovely atmosphere. Lovely welcome. There was a little mistake withu order, but it wasn't a problem, for them to speedily to change and return my meal (with apologies),which was delicious.

The atmosphere as soon as you walk in is amazing. The servers are all very accommodating, our servers Alex B and Atlanta were especially lovely and made us feel prioritised and appreciated :) thank you Alex B and Atlanta!!

The only decent thing about this visit was the food when we eventually got it ! It wasn't overly busy when we went in, had trouble with the q code ordering so went to the bar which the lady seemed irritated at When we went to get more drinks my dad waited over 10 mins as there was no staff member at the bar, I ended up going to find someone !! I asked if they could close a curtain across the restaurant as the sun was shining straight into my face and I was met with a huff as he went to do it It was my first ever time at this place and I think it will be the last

Food and drink came very quick even tho they was busy . Most of the tables had reserved on them but we found a table in the corner . Food was perfect.

This was our first visit, and it was on Saturday lunchtime before Christmas. I was a little apprehensive beforehand, but once we arrived, we found that the service, speed, and food were excellent. In particular, the staff was very polite, cheerful, and friendly.

Very enjoyable festive lunch to break our journey south. Food was delicious. Have only given it 4* though as the main could have been a tad bit hotter. The service from the moment we walked in was warm and friendly and overall we enjoyed our meal very much. We have travelled the M1/A14 between Derbyshire and Essex to visit family for some years now. We have used Kettering services both ways and we were disappointed at the loss of both little chefs. Replacement businesses only provided sandwiches or microwaved bacon rolls! So we then started using Frankie and Bennys and guess what? Yep it closed down. Down the road from there we discovered Park House and we have thoroughly enjoyed each visit. So hopefully they've no intention of closing down any time soon and we can continue enjoying their food and hospitality. Leave at junction 9 and follow signs for Town Centre. You will cross the first roundabout and Park House can been seen on your right as you approach the second, busier roundabout.

We went to an event called “Santa Paws” and it was absolutely brilliant! Such good value for money, the staff were amazing and the food was great! Highly recommend!

The food was nice. But everything at the tables and menus all seemed sticky and dirty. We reserved the table so you would think it would be cleaner and ready for guests. Some cutlery was dirty, which is gross. And the staff was nice and helpful when spoken to but they didn't glass collect very often so our table got full quickly as a group booking.

No room, went in no tables walked out, it's alway like that, or we get a table and the kitchen is closed, around about 8.00 evening

The booking table reservation system was very easy to use and add any special requirements which for my party was essential to have downstairs and quiet area selected. The welcome from staff was good and our drinks brought to our table whilst browsing the menu , we didn't have a starter as our appetites preferred just a 2 course meal....and drinks . All our chosen main courses were excellent and timely presented , my own Roast beef was a delight with the large portion of meat cooked to my liking and a melt in the mouth moment . The choice of desserts was good although 3 of us opted for the Rock a Choc Sundae , there was no similar choice for a Sundae without Chocolate , but on request a fruit style Sundae ( strawberry /raspberry and syrups with vanilla ice cream was made available for the 4th person . (Maybe add this option to the dessert menu ?) With the very high temperature in the weather 30`+ (followed by a thunderstorm ) during our stay the ambience was cool and comfortable , we were not hurried from our table even though it became busier , we indulged in another few drinks , before departure and a very welcome total (Value for Money ) bill of around £78.00 for all 4 of us . One item of note which perhaps could be improved is the table seemed sticky to touch in places although it was clean and functional. An enjoyable occasion .

It is rare nowadays to find a good place for traditional Sunday Roast. For me, the Park House ticked all the boxes in terms of quality of food, portion size (no skimping on the beef) and variety of vegetables, value, and efficiency and friendliness of staff.

Nice staff but very dirty walls, skirting boards, windows ,etc. In serious need of a deep clean, the food was nice but I couldn't eat it due to how dirty the place was, it makes me think the kitchen must be the same 🤢

I only stopped in for a quick drink and never been here before, seems like a nice pub so will definitely revisit and maybe have some food too.
