Unacceptable Delivery Experience – Cold and Inedible Food I ordered from this Pizza Hut for delivery at 4:44 PM, and the staff confirmed that the food was ready by 5:10 PM. However, the Uber Eats service that they are using didn’t deliver it until 6:10 PM. By the time it arrived, the entire order was stone cold and completely inedible. The pizza was cold, and the cheese bites had turned solid—definitely not what I expected from a Pizza Hut order. We had no choice but to bin the meal, fearing it might lead to food poisoning. I reached out to customer service, and despite explaining that the food was unfit to eat, they only offered a £10 voucher. This didn’t remotely cover the cost of the meal or the inconvenience of not having dinner. This was an incredibly disappointing experience, and the customer service response was equally unsatisfactory. I would have expected a full refund for such a poor-quality delivery, but that wasn’t offered. I will not be ordering from Pizza Hut again unless they take proper responsibility for the quality of their service. If you're looking to order pizza for delivery, just go to Dominoes. You'll never have these issues. Update: As you can see from the reply to this complaint, still no refund. Absolute disgrace.

Basic pizza, colouring for children. Ok value for money

Placed a order online turned up at the correct time had to wait an additional 22 minutes when asking how long is this going to take the manager at the time explained that.... (i should go and tell hq as he didnt give a & #£@) saying this in front of customers and delivery drivers this clearly is not exceptable so have taken managers advice. Update.... After having emailed 5 times explaining the same thing absolutly nothing was done. I notoce others commenting and saying that they too have to contact customer service i dont think pizza hut cares anymore when they allow there employees to swear at customers and waste peoples time. Hey at least 130 stores are closing lets hope this is one of them

Me and my partner placed an order for two pizzas and a drink. 15 minutes after the ETA, we called to find out where our food was, only to be told that they “didn’t have any large pans” (why do you sell large pan pizzas then?) and therefore our pizzas couldn’t be made. They claimed they had no contact details to call us about the mix up, despite our order confirmation email showing my partner’s phone number, and agreed to make them as “handcrafted” based instead. Almost two hours after we placed our order, we called back only to be told that there was “no driver assigned”, and they couldn’t deliver our order at all. Again, no attempt was made to contact us to tell us this. We were told to go to customer service for a refund, and as the last baffling twist, this Pizza Hut doesn’t appear on the list of huts on the customer service, and the form will not let you proceed if the address or restaurant name doesn’t match one of the auto-options. So we are without our money, without our food, and utterly unimpressed with the level of service.

Pizza's from pizza hut are just made the way we like them, we prefer to eat in, but if it's a takeaway night, I will aways collect as we don't like them once they have been in the delivery bag, we find this just makes them soggy and not nice and crisp.

Not busy when we went, it was good

We had buffet pizza. What we had was good. Needed replenishing a little quicker. We had 3 children with us, who enjoyed themselves. Would go again, but not sit in a booth, seats too low fir table.

Unfortunately for me I go at least once a year for my eldests birthday (I’m dairy intolerant so pizza isn’t great) but the buffet is great for all ages with drink refills dessert and plenty of pizza, salad and pasta.

this is the 2nd time we've ordered from pizza hut and yet again the food was Luke warm and the delivery time kept getting later. in the first instance we let it go as a one off. this time we ordered at 17.45 with an initial delivery of 18.30 but twice it was delayed. still not sure why it was only luke warm when they claim to deliver hot. did the driver make several stops? we were able to eat but needed to reheat the food ourselves which defeats the point of delivery. please investigate

Took my nephew here for dinner as a post swim treat. Service was great and quick, staff were so friendly and attentive. We didn’t eat from the salad bar so cannot comment on that but the pizzas were classic Pizza Hut style which my nephew loves 👍🏼

Everything was just okay. Not bad and not amazing. The only downside was the buffet and them not restocking pizzas

Sally Assistance Hound and I have just had an unplanned visit to Pizza Hut, after deciding to leave a cinema screening due to a sick and apparently selfish patron who was constantly violently coughing and sneezing WITHOUT covering his mouth in any way... I didn't want to get ill, and nor did I want to listen to this man's bodily noises all throughout the movie screening; therefore I packed up, stood up and l then left the auditorium; before I organised to then exchange my current tickets for another screening. So after finding unexpected time on my hands, I visited Pizza Hut instead, where I found good food, good service, and with a pleasant welcoming atmosphere. There were also great unlimited options, bottomless drinks, never-ending salads, and the like... The bearded man that greeted and seated me was excellent, as I wasn't made to feel awkward for needing a hound's help, which I can assure you is not always the way unfortunately; thank you sir! Previously: one of my sons, my assistance dog and I had a very pleasant meal here recently prior to a cinema visit. Good service, good food and good prices. The salad bar certainly adds to the value. My son discovered however that the bottomless drink is not such a good idea prior to a cinema visit! Still lovely food, wonderful service and Sally Assistance Hound very welcome. It's got ample free parking and is also very handy to the Odeon Cinema...

We love coming here for the buffet. The staff are always so welcoming and friendly, the food is always spot on and it's great value for money

Ordered pizza through the app around 14:00 with the specific request to be delivered at 15:30. Pizza came 16:10, was cold and didnt even get an apology from that restaurant not to mention refund. Never again ordering pizza from there.

Standard food from Pizza Hut, which is nice, but all pizza retail chains are on the pricey side of things. Staff were great, and the place was clean but wished they delivered (not via Uber eats, etc)

Food arrived cold. New dough is tough. Hardly any cheese in the stuffed crust! No sauces delivered or even an option to buy sauce?

Lovely pizza and fresh salad bar

I brought my family here for my sons 18th birthday. The staff, especially Will, made us feel very welcome, and cared for. Food was good Would defo recommend

Me and my family came here tonight to eat, for my brother’s birthday. It was a fab evening, we did the “Feed four” deal for £55 which was a bargain. The staff was lovely and attentive especially Will who was so helpful and went out of his way to arrange a birthday sing song! Great evening overall!

We had booked a table for 7pm and were running late so we rang and the gentleman on the phone told us not to worry. Once we arrived our waiter Joe, at the Kettering branch provided excellent service from start to finish. Food was delicious and timing was spot on. Much appreciated to Joe and all the staff at the Kettering branch. Excellent Service would highly recommend.

We love pizza hut but lately the toppings are very sparse ..Ordered the goat but hardly any on it. Prices are so expensive so cone on hut make it more worth while.

Emma and William were absolutely fantastic - despite it being incredibly busy they could not do enough. Checking that we had everything we needed - engaging with the children and getting them crayons etc. Both are a credit to Pizza Hut

Awful service. Estimated delivery went up an hour. Called Pizza Hut who told us they didn’t have Just Eat drivers. Waited another 20 mins . No driver! Picked up the pizza ourselves. Very unhelpful, unapologetic staff handed over cold pizzas . Disgusting service all around. Shame on you Just Eat and Pizza Hut

The food was amazing and the server in particular was what made this trip as awesome as it was. Full knowledge of the menu and deals! He seems to work there most of the time and definitely excells in his job. Well done!

Tried the lunch buffet for the first time in years. Food was fab, enough choice of pizzas, salad was fresh. The restaurant was quiet and the staff were great.

Pizza is pizza right? No! But Pizza Hut deliver as always you know what your getting as you’d expect from a world famous brand. Service ok but nothing to shout about but felt the atmosphere could have been better.

We went for a birthday buffet treat for our 8 year old. As soon as the pizza came out it was gone, it tasted mediocre and there wasn't enough, the salad was okay nothing to shout home about and the pasta was rank. We were sat near the drinks machine. There were so many children unsupervised - one of my children refused to eat after her first slice of pizza as a child nibbled a piece of pizza and put it back on the buffet, there was a mountain of crushed ice on the machine spilling out onto the floor and there was a huge que for the ice-cream station as children and adults were eating their pudding at the station to then instantly refill. The staff were nice enough, we were seated quickly and they attempted to make a little bit of small talk with our three children. It's a shame they weren't assertive enough to either monitor the amount of children there or tell their guardians to. The whole place is a little dirty, grubby and run down. We went to pizza hut in Wellingborough last autumn in the evening which was completely different - clean, delicious and nice atmosphere, (hence why my child wanted to celebrate his birthday at pizza hut) I'm not sure if the difference was the time of day, being half term, the place, the customers or a combination of all but I won't be returning to Kettering Pizza Hut to dine in.

Pizza was standard quality, but slow to replenish once empty and not much choice if not a vegetable lover!

⚠️ CONGRATULATIONS ⚠️ Warning this is a 5 star review that your not expecting, we came into the restaurant unannounced to give a full review on Google over 2 weeks, on the buffet days, Week one, we were so surprised at how quickly the fresh pizzas were coming out, even fresh cheesey garlic bread slices, the pizzas not only were freshly made, the buffet area was clean and lived upto our expectations, we quizzed the staff on certain topics and they knew all the answers!!! The shop floor was clean as well as the toilets, they asked us straight away if we had any allergies. Week 2 .... we went on Week 2 to see if it was any different and yes without any mistakes it was just as good as Week 1 !!! The staff are very friendly and go that extra little way !!! We noticed a family of Indian vegetarians that wanted the buffet and within 10-20 minutes they were fully catered for and the waitress explained what was on each pizza and the Indian family also were very happy with the good service which made us happy too as we got to try pizza that we wouldn't normally have.. I highly rate you come to this Pizza hut as not only do you get served with over polite staff you get hot fresh pizza which is not standard in all Pizza Hut restaurants. So give yourself a huge pat on the back as you all deserve it.

Pizzas are very good but was not impressed with the order at table and pay by phone only .. being asked for a tip before any food or service ? We should not be forced into a cashless society so i wont be returning ..

Lovely meal out with the family. We had the all you can eat buffet and it was definitely great value for money. Lots of variety to choose from & food was hot too. Cannot fault it.

I rarely review the fast food chain restaurants however thought I would give this one mainly due to the service. We visited at 12pm on Wednesday 13th December and were quickly seated by a very helpful female staff member. This staff member is the reason I am leaving this review because of how good she actually was. Now, pizza is pizza, and the pizza was good but the lady serving was excellent at her work.... There was a young lad who was also very happy.... A good team they make too.. We normally visit Nandos next door which I admit I do prefer but this was a nice visit, the salad was really fresh but I did miss my onions! The buffet was about 15 pounds which included refillable drinks too. Very impressed by all.

We picked up a takeaway on Saturday evening and were really impressed. We ordered the friends and family deal and we had two pizzas. New York cheese and meatfeast pizza. Two sides: chips and loaded cheese bites and a drink of pepsi max. The food was all super hot and fresh to eat. The food had lots of flavour. We ordered on line which was super easy to do and collection was also easy.

Nice original deep dish pizza. Supreme pizza is awesome. Salad bar gone down hill tho, from the good all days. Very very basic

Food was awful, service was awful, the girls behind the counter did not care for anyone and were just sat on their phones or talking, boyfriend tried to speak to them repeatedly and ignored him a few times. We thought it would be busy but it was just us and a family in there.

Still awaiting a delivery. Having passed our delivery slot by 40 minutes. This would have been acceptable if it was communicated. Three attempts to call to figure out the status of our order. Yet to receive any call backs or updates. Terrible service, lack of professionalism. Food arrived barely warm, as predicted, no offer of compensation. When asked they said we can offer you money off your next order. Which is irrelevant because who would order again based on the service provided. Borderline a scam.

I liked mobile ordering. Ordering was so easy. The pizza is always lovely here. It's a shame prices have increased but it's no surprise. The staff are always fantastic in Kettering too. Thank you. Xxx

Arrived upon opening staff where friendly and helpful at the moment is no cash there is a QR code to scan to place your order we selected the buffet plenty of variety of pizza and salad toilets were to a good standard parking is limited to 3 hours but there is a computer tablet to enter your vehicle registration to extend this time

Had to go and ask for glasses for our drinks maybe we were supposed to drink from the bottles 😅😅. Food far to expensive for what you get , the lasagne was outrageous. Pepsi bottle cost £3.59 it does have gold dust in it. Service is not existent if you want something you need to go and find someone...Never again Pizza Hut very disappointed visit

First time I've been back to pizza hut in a while only to find service in know none existant . Not only do you want people to not use cash .you also want people to serve themselves using the almost compulsory ordering app . I came out to be spoilt on my birthday only to endup feeling like i work for you . We ended up walking around looking for staff to ask for things . Conclusion i will never come back .im adding this its now the next day and on top of all that my wife and i have belly ache . I was going to name and shame the particular restaurant but now I feel it's necessary. it was the merry hill restaurant in the West Midlands

The whole experience was so nice and relaxed and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience of eating in. We have got take out from the restaurant on numerous occasions and have always been pleased however eating in was really good. And our server Daniel was really nice and friendly, thank you.

Love the unlimited buffet as you can make your own salad and choose any type of pizza.

Family birthday Monday night at Pizza Hut. No phones at the dinner table so had waitress service. It was really busy and our host Holly was superb. This place is a guaranteed crowd pleaser! Thanks Holly and your team.

Lovely food but understaffed. We arrived and there were lots of dirty tables. It was relatively busy. We had arrived just as the buffet had finished. So it was clearly after a busy rush. When looking around there seemed to only be 2 staff members running around to do the best they could. We waited a while to place our order. The two staff that were working were really helpful and very polite. They did not seem flustered by the fact they were running around trying to cater for everyone. Our food came out quickly and was really delicious. The ice cream station had been well used with there being no available sauces and lots of toppings all over the sides and all over the floor. It needed a wipe down. We also happen led to notice a heavily bearded man preparing all of the food at the serving window without any PPE to protect the food from any loose beard hair. With also a female in the kitchen with hair not tied back or with a hair net on. The food was decent but felt the staff needed more support and perhaps ‘managing a bit better with higher hygiene standards’. Kettering Pizza Hut needs a little freshen up.

Absolutely love eating here with my family. They always go above and beyond with a smile on their faces.
