Missed three items from our order. Rude and no customer service at all

Guys pls avoid this kebabs shop.. There was hair on my food and when I called the shop to ask about this, they were denying it without even listening. Very rude service.

This was the place back in the day but unfortunately it’s succumbed to poor service and greed. Sorry but £4.50 is ridiculous for chips and cheese and there’s much better value and quality elsewhere in town - save your money and go to Bostons. No wander the place always seems empty these days. Long gone are the days where they’d give you a pounds worth of Donner meat on your way home from a night out with a bit of banter and scooter blaring at 2am. Unfortunately they are a symptom of the times we’re living in and they’ve forgotten their core values which used to be good quality food and generous portions served with a smile. (The silver hair guy killed any kind of atmosphere or cheer in there) Wouldn’t feed my dog this overpriced muck. Judging by other reviews and the desperate offers they’re trying to push I don’t think they’ll be around for much longer. Shame as I have good memories of this place.

Half the pita was soggy and mushy, salad just dumped on the top outside of the pita. Would not order from here again.

dry hard no crisp pitta bread, hairs bonus mushy onion rings stay away.

I ordered a lamb shish & cheesy chips - it arrived quickly and was nice and hot. The lamb shish was the best I’ve ever had!! It was succulent & tender. The chips were good quality with plenty of cheese!! I will most certainly be ordering from Mystic Diners again!!

Ordered food via just eats, justeats managed to lose my pizza in transit 🙄 Quick phonecall and these guys cooked and delivered another pizza with their own driver. Absolute legendary service, thanks again

Called st 23:35 plenty of time for an order to be placed and to be sent out now if a buisness is closed the phones wouldnt be manned just called 11:33 and asked to place an order and was told sorry mo we closed ?? Rude

What a sham placed a order confirmed 19.01 ...1 hour delivery..fine...no delivery.. phoned told food was on its way....hour later phoned again to be told they just seen the order......avoid at all costs

Just had a delivery from here at it was literally the worst kebab ive ever had. Ordered a large mixed kebab meat tray for £19. It was full of soggy chips, which it should have any chips in it, hardly any kebab meat and inedible lamb shish meat, so tough none of us could chew it. Oh and rock hard naan bread. Do not order from here.

Rude, unprofessional and unsympathetic to vegetarian needs. Asked for a combination kebab, as we're expecting 2 kebabs we're surprised to receive a non vegetarian and vegetarian dish mixed. When questioned on why this was we're met with aggression and an unprofessional attitude. To me, it makes zero sense to mix a non vegetarian and vegetarian dish together? The restaurant should of called to confirm and made it clear to the recipient what they would receive. Clearly need to update their deals and be abit more upfront what recipients will receive! Server was rude and shouting over us like a Gen z spoilt brat. Merry Christmas, I won't be ordering again. Toodle pip.

do NOT order from mystic diners! The food is not only unprepared but the customer service is horrible. Me and the missus ordered some cheeky shish kebabs and the mermaid pizza and I now know why it’s called the mermaid pizza! There was fish scales in the sauce and there were multiple of strands of hair in not only in the crust but also in the cheese. And as for the kebab, it tasted as thought it was made with lemur meat and smelled as if it was made in rat infested, decomposing alleyway. If you value your life, DO NOT EVER COME TO MYSTIC DINER. There is nothing mystic about this diner, only ballistic!

Ordered food on just eat and after 2 hours wait and time pushed back 3 times phoned and they said still would take 20 mins. Don't think they even had started. Why take the order if you can't deliver. And this on top of last time ordered steak think was sirloin and gave me processed meat you get from a box in tescos for 20 notes. Didn't take pic so just eat would not follow up. Don't know why gave them another try was just hungry after a few beers. Won't do again... so sad local business is letting their standards drop. This place used to be so good...

If I could 0 stars I would. Customer service is absolutely appalling. Ordered 2 small pizzas at 20:05 was meant to be here at 20:35-20:55 didn’t turn up. Rang them at 21:20 told me it wouldn’t be much longer. Why it took that long to make small two pizzas anyway I don’t know. Got to 22:00 and I was getting annoyed so my partner rang back and was told it was delivered, opened my front door and it was sat outside freezing cold because no one had knocked. We have a dog who barks at anyone walking past let alone knocking. The staff member or owner (I’d hope it wasn’t the owner with his awful attitude) told us we were lying and he wasn’t going to do anything to correct his mistake. Will be disputing the charges with Uber eats and then my bank if they can’t help. Avoid at all costs!!!

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS RESTAURANT. RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. I ordered my food yesterday only to get a wrong order sent through and it was burnt. I rang to raise the issue only to be shouted at by the chef who I recorded the whole time. He promised that I will get my money back next day when I threatened to report them to just eat and also come over to the take away shop. I rang the shop again and only told be told by the manager I won’t get my money back or other food and I needed to basically go away. He started shouting at me and only to tell me to go and enjoy my burnt food and he put the phone down. Worst service ever and waste of money.

Ordered a takeaway using Just Eat app. Food arrived pretty fast. Chicken kebab and salad with sauce x 2. Salad was pretty poor. Half a tomato and very sparse salad in both. Come on now, how cheap is salad! The sauce should be in a pot and not put over the dish. Once bitten so will definitely not be using these guys again.

First time ordering delivery have an awkward address to find driver wasn't to late although cudnt find my address food was banging tho well worth the wait will deffo be ordering again

A few years ago I enjoyed Mystic Diners' lamb shish kebab. In recent years the quality has plumeted and the price has increased. The lamb is of poor quality and almost tasteless. I cannot recommend this establishment.

Ordered meals on just eat! Chicken kebab and a chicken wrap with chips. Delivered when they promised. Very tasty , little expensive but everything is going up in cost!

Don't know who's took over but has drastically gone downhill. Chips are too chunky and not cooked properly, chilli sauce is like water and the whole taste has gone out of the kebab. This needs sorting quickly as you've lost my orders now.

Best chicken shish kebab I've had in a while I've tried all the kebab places in kettering and this is as good as my other favourite ones definitely recommend

OVERPRICED! A wrap on its own is £7, for a few chunks of meat, other kebab shops do a meal deal for £7.50, talk about ripping people off. No surprise as it’s Kettering.

Just ordered a large lamb shish and a large chicken shish with separate salads and sauces and chips. Quite possibly the best kebab we’ve EVER had. The meat was juicy, bread perfectly chargrilled, super fresh salad, sauces in separate tubs, amazingly chunky chips that were crispy to the out and fluffy to the middle. Couldn’t have asked for better. ❤️

Food took a very long time yet again, very expensive for the little we received but more importantly was absolutely freezing , ended up having to dispose of it .

Please don’t order from this restaurant It toke them 3 hours for them to deliver just a steak. When delivered the food was cold and not cooked properly. The driver was rude . When called and complained the manager was totally rude too . So so disappointed

Absolutely SHOCKING!! STILL WAITING FOR OUR DELIVERY 2 HOURS AFTER PLACING IT. SPOKE WITH SOMEONE AT M.D.s AT 8.25pm who said " its on its way." Ordered via Just Eat but the food arrived 30 mins late. We phoned after 15 mins late to be told it was just around the corner, but not sure which corner as I had to call 15 mins later!!!!!! We were told it was the top man who was delivering our food, so when it did arrive I challenged him on the service, but just kept shrugging his shoulders and indicated he needed to discuss when back at the restaurant, but I had to remind he was the top man and could make decisions!!! He really didn't care, didn't have any customer loyalty and really lacked any care or concern ......bye, bye Mystic Diner as we won't be going back!

Absolutely no service despite being a loyal customer. This is a Just Eat dining experience with no soul or service. The experience is lifeless with food that matches there is absolutely nothing mystical about this eatery.

Mystic Diners is one of the best takeaways in Kettering, with the menu ranging from burgers to pizzas and kebabs. All items on the menu are customisable so of you want to swap certain items, the friendly staff are more than willing to help.

I ordered two different meals from here. both were cold and tasteless. I will definitely not order again

SHOCKING!! took over a hour to come stone cold, overpriced for what it is all food was dry. I rang multiple times and told 20 minutes every half a hour😐

Is it time to give up on Mystic Diners? It seems like they don’t like non-standard customers. I like big pizza slices, just like in NYC, it’s just my personal preference. They seem to struggle to do that (kids pizza is sliced into 6 or 8 pieces yet they can’t figure out how to do the same on large pizza?!). So I’ve asked not to slice mine, I’m happy do it myself. They’ve failed at it as well and I’ve received my pie with bunch of tiny slices. Ffs

Food arrived on time via Uber Eats but it was stone cold and only fit for the bin. Called them to report the issue but they did not want to know.

Excellent Turkish kebabs, Shish is to die for best in town and not a rip off on prices either, I won't go anywhere else in Kettering 👍👌

If you want a cheeky kebab on the way home from a night in the town this is the stop you make. Would comment on the staff/quality of food etc (which is exactly what you'd expect after a skinful) but never had any issues and have been several times after a good night out (or may have had too much to remember). Never have to wait long and everything is reasonably priced! You always run into some characters here too.

me and my partner went there for new years and he had a lamb shish and i had a burger, 45 minutes later he threw up outside my drive way! and he was really sick because the food wasn’t prepared properly! please do not get the lamb shish!

This is long overdue and I have been ordering food here for years. I've never had any problems the food is freshly cooked and the staff are really friendly, you never have to wait long for your food and the prices are very affordable. Of all the years of coming here I can find no faults 😁

Having been loyal customers ordering sometimes twice a week for quite some time, we have noticed the food going downhill. Tonight it took 1hour 45 mins for us NOT to get our food and all we got was terrible customer service and shocking attitudes. We will NEVER order here again.

Waste of 15 pounds. The chips we received looked like they had been fried more than once, the lamb doner was dry and crispy. Used to be my favourite kebab shop, something must have changed and it is definitely a bad thing. I will not be a returning customer.

I'm really disappointed with the service that my friend and I received from this place over the weekend. Ordered food for two and despite tipping the service was really not good. I'm being very honest there was barely enough to feed one person let alone two. Total regret but i nor anyone i know has said not a chance of using this place ever again.

Ordered tonight. Usually order from mystics Disappointing The only thing that was hot was the delivery driver ... My chips was alright but my doner wrap was stone cold I left a note asking them to be quite as I had family in the house asleep The tiptoeing around was a complete waste of time felt so hungry and it was too late to prepare own food so I thought let me order ... And the main part of my meal was completely cold .. What a shame

We ordered at eleven o'clock and were waiting over an hour an half when I called we were told another 20 mins after another half an hour I rang back and was told 20 min yet another 40 mins the food arrived the most shocking delivery order i have ever experienced they could of sent the world's most asthmatic man on a bycyle with flat tires and he still would of been here quicker.

We ordered 1 large pizza, 1 large mixed kebab, chips, side salad, and a chicken burger meal online, 50p was handling charge £2.50 was delivery charge, said 50 minutes too a hour delivery it was 1 hour 45 minutes the food was stone cold when it arrived, pizza tasteless the kebab was more salad than meat chips went in the bin and the chicken burger if warm would just be ok, this was first and last time I will order from them what a waste of £41.50p.

The best takeaway place in Kettering. It's run by a great owner who really cares about his place and the food he serves. Thank you !

Good meals at a reasonable price

Ordered the mermaid pizza thru just eat, left a note saying no prawns. Pizza arrives after an hour, hardly warm but looks good. First slice I eat I find a prawn, call the restaurant to be told he made it himself and there are no prawns, only tuna!! While I’m stood here LOOKING at the prawn. Customer service is as bad as their ability to identify sea creatures, and worse than their pizzas.

The quality of the preparation of the food is inconstistant, as is the customer service, but both are generally good.

Quite possibly the worse kebab I've ever had. Ordered a lamb shish, the meat was under cooked and most of it was fat- Disgusting. Avoid!

I have been a regular here for a long time I've given chance after chance but they cannot ever get it right every single time theres a problem and I order here alot after now waiting nearly over an hour for my food I have yet again been given the wrong food I've had it I will never ever go here again absolutely disgusting service you hould be ashamed off yourself for your custom will definitely not recommend

We were always a Sultans fan but no more, Mystic kebabs are absolutely tasty, pizza was ordered tonight by our son and we have all agreed definately the best pizza in town, mixed kebab was beautiful too, your onto a winner if you want delicious food. 👍👍

Shrimp kebab it's a over dated cold and discusting shrimp cocktail with few bits of cabbage and pita bun and chick burgers well you can get better in farmfoods on 50p sale

First time in this place- takeaway with possibility to sit down which we did. The meat and salad were fresh. We ordered mixed kebab and donner, no chips. Will go again.

Got food poisoning from ordering a bacon egg burger from this place, almost finished the burger when I noticed the egg was a greenish blue colour, it was obviously gone off - and also the buns don’t always taste as fresh as they could be either!!

We made order online and collected it on time , but the food was cold, wasn’t happy . It doesn’t look like freshly made

Just not nice. Over 2 hours for delivery. When the food arrived the pizza was cold, the burger was really salty, the chips were disgusting as they were soggy and cold. The lamb shish was ok apart from some big bits of gristle.

I’d give less than one star if I could, quite simply don’t offer a delivery service if you can’t get the food in a reasonable time frame. Food was cold, we hd the same problem last week but appreciated they were probably busy. Ordered 2 x medium kebabs, a real lack of meat and no more chicken than what we’d had in the small kebabs. Sorry Mystics, you’ve lost our customers for good after we have you a second chance.

We had a donner kebab and chicken shish both medium, we waited about 15 or 20 min. This is the first time that came to this place, the food had a really nice flavor, very good size portions and we love the chilli sauce, it was worth it the wait. We definitely will be back for more

£5.50 for a tiny, and I mean tiny, Kebab wrap. Tasted good but so not worth the price. Needless to say I'll be going somewhere else next time :-(

My partner ordered two chicken shish at 19.10,he was told they'd be here within the hour. At 20.28 they had not arrived..he rang and was told they were just leaving the shop and would be here within 10 minutes. At 20.36 they arrived,the driver said it wasn't his fault. We opened the trays and both kebabs were cold. My partner rang again to inform that they were cold and would like a refund...he was told they would make them again,well that would mean possibly not receiving them until after 10 p.m so he said no he wanted a refund. He was then told the manager would call,he is still waiting..time now 21.05!!!! Will not be using this company again.

Ordered two shish kebabs one chicken on lamb, rang order through at 5.48 we were told food would be here within the hour, one hour later and after a phone call inquiring where it was, they said it was on its way.. fifteen minutes later it arrived It looked nice, but cold kebabs are for Sunday morning after a night out! NOT when you are looking forward to a nice hot tasty kebab. We were not impressed in how long it took or how cold it was.

Chips are really nice. If I'm really fussy, there was too much sauce but I'd prefer that to too little

Had a take away from here chicken and lamb kebab was nice hot and delivered quick to our hotel can recommend as a takeaway whilst in Kettering staying at Kettering park hotel and spa spot on

Group Size: 1 Time of Day: Early evening Meal: Shish Kebab We had planned to have pasta with ragu from the freezer, but having watched a match time had got away from us and so we decided on takeaway. My wife wanted rogan josh but I fancied a kebab, so I popped into one takeaway and she popped into another. I wanted to try to keep it as healthy as possible so went for lamb shish kebab and salad. The kebab meat was cooked fresh to order while I waited and was cooked to perfection, served with a really fresh selection of salad items. The meat tasted fantastic, some of the best shish I have ever had and I really enjoyed my unexpected takeaway.

Disappointing, ordered online and then 1/2 of the kebabs was wrong and pretty small. Rang to get the kebab replaced (really nicenchap on the phone), then this was delivered wrong. By this time I was fed up and the sides were cold, I didn't need to worry as I couldn't eat the kebab as the first bite was pure gristle so gave up!

I have ordered from here quite a few times before and on multiple occasions have had items missing (I always ring and they deliver the missing items). Unfortunately this time round they missed the salad from my chicken shish and by the time they had delivered it the food had already gone as I did not want to wait for it to go cold. I had also ordered a large but only received a regular.

Conveniently located in town centre, you get the tastiest and best prepared kebabs at this joint. A couple of tables to eat in as well. The hygiene rules are observed. The customer service would be improved if the staff had better language and communication skills.
