The best restaurants in Erewash East Midlands

I have visited this venue twice in May & July.Lovely spacious dining hall but can be noisy if very busy as it's high ceilings. Super fresh food & Cakes etc . Friendly staff , reasonable price Mushroom risotto (watch out hard stalks) Lovely views, parking free. A lovely spot.

visited today Tuesday 7th May2024 and not been here for a very long time. Was very quiet so getting a table was easy. Drinks were good, staff friendly, clean toilets

Its nice to have a business that cares about quality of product and service. I eat here at least once a week. Product is consistent each and every time Prices haven't shot up like everywhere else. Its nice to have the personal feel you get being a customer.

Really nice delivery person food really fresh and hit always adjust menu as I have mushroom allergy. Very grateful and enjoy the tofu dishes thank you.

Staying at local hotel for week...and thought try TC Express...instead of full TC restaurant as used in past. Situated in The Hub not far from cark park 3 entrance to Hub. Parking fees during day...but visited after 6pm and did not have to pay! Not full and given choice to sit anywhere - good start!. Friendly staff from manager all the way to chef....cooking area in main restaurant. Drinks first - red wine large glass....good quality and not bad price. Starter shared was Ali De Pollo - breaded wings with garlic mayo. Wings really crispy and chicken moist succulent. These are not the small wings that you normally get but plenty of meat!. Main courses were Carbonara and Pollo al Funghi - breaded chicken covered with mushroom sauce. Food excellent. Service Excellent. Manager friendly and spent time being interested in finding out who we were and how we found the meal! We def visit again next time up in area.

Fantastic place. Fresh as can be and taste amazing. Fantastic prices for fish and kebabs. Only downside is they don't deliver and no menu online.

We bought a Groupon offer based on the picture on the advert on Groupon. All we got was 3 tiny finger sandwiches with minimal filling. A cheese straw which was half the size shown in the picture. No pork pie. No sausage rolls etc. A packet of crisps shared between us. Scones were nice but our cakes were cherry slice which was topped with a very runny icing & a tiny child size fairy cake topped with hundreds & thousands. Don't let the pictures fool you!!!

Impressed - spotlessly clean, food good quality and wonderful presentation, friendly , helpful staff, good prices and unhurried, chilled out catch up with friends. Only one small niggle - paper towels in cleanest bathroom I have ever visited would be better than the towel and it would be perfect. Lovely surroundings, relaxed and chilled and good quality well presented food. This establishment deserves to do well for the 100% effort they make - well done Nenes.

Model has always been my favourite place as I love the kebab wraps! I ordered fish today and fish cake and a large chips. The chips only served 2 people, most of the chips was hard, the fish cake had a texture like it had been microwaved, the fish was mostly batter and had a microwaved like texture. I will definitely be getting kebab again but nothing else. Really disappointed as it’s usually amazing. Also had to wait 2 hours.

After spending an hour or so visiting the Ilkeston Heritage and Classic Vehicle Show which was held on the Market Place it was time for a spot of refreshment. Warm and friendly greeting from the person behind the bar, tables well laid out with good decoration, I love these kind of places, no gimmicks, people talking to each other and a a very good pint of beer.

I went here to try a new cafe for breakfast with my family and my parents on a Saturday morning. The price was fair if the food had of been edible. £25 for 2 adult and 2 kids breakfasts. My parents paid for theirs. I actually ended up throwing up outside, my children (who eat everything) didn't eat it. The beans were salty, the bacon was cremated, the eggs were well over done, and my partner said her mushrooms were disgusting 🤢 and the brown sauce was like they had just tipped vinger in it to make it last, so watery. When I bought this to the attention of someone that was serving and ask for some of the money back (£15) I was confronted by an idiot (whom i can only assume was the fella to the owner) who wanted to fight me (which wouldn't have ended well, for him or anybody) needless to say I did eventually get my £15 back, but after we left he stood pointing, taunting and laughing at me through the window.

Been before and again today Thursday 19th december 2024. Wasnt too busy so got a table ok. menu is ok and prices ok. Only comment is that the lattee coffees need a bigger size

Buen servicio, buena cerveza, sidra y cerveza. El lenguaje es un poco maduro si te molesta pero muy limpio y cómodo para tomar unas copas después de un largo día de trabajo.

Just popped to this little gem of a takeaway cafe. Had the mighty all in breakfast. I literally cannot eat another bite. The portion was huge and the cooked to perfection. Top breakfast and highly recommended. Thank you
