A really tasty meal I highly recommend you order the food you want in advance of your visit to make sure they have what you want.

This place is very hit and miss, tonight was a miss. It was extremely cold, don’t think there was any heating on and the food was ok’ish. Understand new management is taking over shortly, hope it improves.

The Bottlekiln is a rare find - homemade quality food, good staff, a nice environment and you can buy lovely things in the two shops there. I love the afternoon tea, I think it’s great value. The lemon meringue pie is really deep and lovely, a ‘must have’ there. We always have the quiche and salad and I must say this time there was no coleslaw with it which we were disappointed about.

Great Service, Meals served up piping hot, Sizzling Piri Piri Fajitas, 1 Chicken and 1 Vegetarian Halloumi no complaints, simple consistently good on all our visits, thank you.

Went tonight for a little drink & came away with out tea chilli & chips & garlic bread 🥖 Was absolutely amazing I🤩 100% going to do this again 👏👏👏👏

Steve and jacko cooked our meals to perfection, we had tandoori skewers and a mixed grill, the meat was nice and juicy! The service was also excellent!

Brilliant potential with new owner. Willing to challenge what beers they should sell. We look forward to what they do in the future

Avoid ! As previously stated had ups & downs over the years and it’s rock bottom now ! Inside grubby / dirty and outside area very very neglected too-don’t go !

Beautiful fish and chips lunch cooked by carrie would definitely eat there again. Nice relaxed atmosphere and quickly brought out.

Once a month the Curves ladies gym in Ilkeston meet at Millies and have a great time. They look after us well, even though they have to rearrange the seating to accommodate us all, usually 20 or so. Thanks to all the staff who looked after us today.x

Had a wonderful afternoon tea to celebrate my birthday. Delicious food and huge pot of tea. They went above and beyond to make it a special occasion.

Loved it tonight. Sat with a friend, amazing staff and amazing beer! Had a great night with no issues at all. Plenty more nights to come!

I gave this place a chance. Really dissatisfied. There was water in the bottom of the tray, I assume from the tomatoes as it was red, but couldn’t eat as visually off putting. Meat was overcooked and burnt in places. Chips rock hard. Sweaty generally. Paid about double what I’d usually pay as couldn’t leave the house. Wasn’t worth a quarter of that.
