The Bridge Sandiacre in Erewash

Avoid ! As previously stated had ups & downs over the years and it’s rock bottom now ! Inside grubby / dirty and outside area very very neglected too-don’t go !

Gone downhill massively. Underage drinkers, pub is falling to pieces, the people that go there were loud and disruptive. We used to enjoy coming as a family but won’t bring my kids again. My friend had wine served to her in a half pint glass. Such a shame as it was a lovely pub!

We have lived very close to the Bridge Inn for over 20 years. We seen its highest highs and lowest lows over the years. Right now it’s at the lowest low. Recently visited after walking the dogs for a drink in the garden. No beer! All the craft ale pumps were off! The pub is tired and tatty. A real shame because it could be a gold mine, it has been! Not now. It needs some investment and attention.

Cheap and simplistic, group of family went, pub was not too busy and while the staff are friendly enough, choice of drinks on tap were pretty poor choice of lager and strongbow and the doom bar was off. Most of the choice was in bottles and a few spirits. The food is very disappointing however, burgers were a bit dry and flavourless, the salad on the burger hadn't been rinsed, still tasted like weedkiller. The pie looked pretty good at first but the filling looked like it had been scooped out of the toilet from Trainspotting. Chips were lukewarm, only 2 onion rings. Almost everything has been kept in the freezer. I had to ask for ice with a rum and coke however. Ok for a drink, but I don't think I will be going back for food again.

This place is absolutely awful, the food was disgusting and had not taste to it very bland to say the least and took ages to come out even though we were first in when it opened. The place was really dirty and if we didn’t order food virtually straight away we would have left and gone elsewhere. The glasses our drinks come in were dirty, the bar area was filthy and stunk of stale ale and you could see the bar mats were wet and dirty. My 4 year old even said he didn’t like the toilets as they are ( really dirty) his words not mine and cold. The cutlery wasn’t even clean and felt dirty to touch. Very disappointed and will definitely not be returning.

Don’t waste you’re time coming here. No acknowledgement or service from any of the staff for over 50 minutes. Finally had to go over to the door to ask to be served only to wait a further 15mins for orders to be taken. Had to...

My parents went today with a "new and improved Sunday dinner" and with a new head chef nikki. They arrived about 1.30pm and ordered Sunday lunch and was asking for their money back 2 hours later as they was still waiting. Another table had ordered a Sunday lunch for their son with mash potato for them also to wait 1 hours and be told that no mash potato would be done, even though children's menu states roasts or mash. No explanation as to why or no apology. Put comments on their Facebook page for them to be removed and blocked by them so no bad publicity. And the comments were not rude. So if you're willing so wait for 2 hours for a Sunday dinner then please try here but they will hide everything that is bad without actually giving customers the chance to give feedback. AVOID!!!
