We have eaten here before but have only ever sat outside for drinks/snacks. On this occasion we sat indoors for a full cooked meal at lunchtime. The internal decor was pleasant and the ambiance excellent. Despite being almost full there was a very quiet and refined atmosphere. The menu was varied, interesting and most mains were around £15. Everything we had was delicious and well cooked. The shepherds pie was exceptionally good - the best I’ve ever had. Our only criticism would be the rather too ’al dente’ veg. The service was exemplary and we will definitely return.

First and possibly my last visit to Zucci. We arrived at opening time the place was cold The Initial shock for four pensioners was the prices! Starters around £8. Mains between £18 & £20 and Deserts from £8. Drinks as well with the usual ramped up prices. We all had a main course which took about 45 minutes to arrive. When it did arrive it was very nice, hot & plentiful. two of us induled in a sweet but it was not worth the £8.50 charged per person. The young staff were helpful and attentive. I know why now when bill was presented! Considering only one person in our party had alcohol in the form of a glass of wine the bill was a shock around £110 plus £19.80 service charge for the staff. No sign of a Head Waiter/Manager though! Would i visit again? Very unlikely.

Took my father and stepmother for lunch on the 23rd. Welcomed by friendly staff and sat next to a small but roaring fire. Not too close to burn, but enough to take the chill off. Small menu to choose from but with a variety of dishes. I had the pulled beef pie (so did my dad) with mash potatoes and peas, stepmum had a chicken korma. The pie was definitely homemade with a hot water crust pastry made by Max. It was packed full to the top with tender beef in a rich gravy. The mash was creamy and the gravy thick with a beefy flavour. The korma looked creamy and was accompanied with poppadoms and rice. We topped it off with a creamy creme brulee and coffee. Well worth the visit.

We stumbled across this gorgeous little cafe when our intended cafe was too full to accommodate us. It’s lovely, I liked the interiors and the staff were friendly. My coffee was lovely (although a little hotter than I’m used to). I had the Cherry Bakewell cake and that was lovely, full of flavour and very sweet, gluten free too if I remember rightly. Cute little find.

Friends said if you ever visit Woodall Spa look out for the cake shop. So glad I went looking for the cake shop as the cake display looked gorgeous and very tempting. I could resist buying a couple of cakes for later. And I wasn’t surprised I had to join a queue, which gave me time to look around. The cakes were delicious and of course if I’m ever in the area again I’ll definitely stock up on more food.

Brilliant food and a great authentic Italian restaurant. Excellent attentive service. Wish we had the same at home in Shropshire.

We visited the cafe this morning and had an outstanding breakfast, freshly cooked and so reasonably priced. Served by very pleasant young lady too. So much better than the buffet breakfast we had yesterday at a 4 Star hotel 🤷♀️up north yesterday. We took a cakes home too - delicious! Keep up the good work 👍👍

What a fabulous place to eat! Myself and 2 of my children had a walk along the old Railway track and wanted a place to eat. We saw this as we parked up, I was aware of the premises in its previous guise as The Railway Tavern but they've done a wonderful job of the transformation. Food was tasty Service was excellent Staff were friendly Cost was very reasonable I've told everyone I've seen today that they should try it if they're in the Woodhall Spa area

I had expected some decent service but on arrival of the food it wad announced that we had to go around the corner to retrieve cutlery from an old wooden cupboard ourselves along with other items. Never asked if we enjoyed the food which was surprising considering the amount of food which was uneaten. Staff clearly not professional people and it shows. The dining area was draughty and cold. Lots of standing around at the bar area chatting amongst themselves. I had rump steak with chips, slaw and onion rings. The steak wasn't medium as asked but medium rare. The chips had clearly been around for a while and were frozen chips for sure, nothing crispy about them. The slaw had a weird taste like a very greasy creamy mustard flavour which did nothing to enhance the meal.

We called in to Little Dorrits for a snack and a brew. The menu is your usual cafe fare all day breakfasts, breakfast baps, omelettes, burgers etc which is just what we were after. Our family group had bacon baps, eggs on toast, coffee & tea which were all good and reasonably priced. The service was also good and the young lady serving was very helpful and our food turned up quickly. All in all a nice little traditional style cafe serving nice comfort food which hit the mark on a cold day.
