Woodlands Cafe in East Lindsey

It’s not obvious from the menu but this cafe has lots of gluten free options for paninis etc and a couple of “cakes”. I had a very nice bacon, Brie and cranberry panini and a trillionaire tart. My husband had a blt and a biscoff cake. Despite being busy the service was pretty quick and friendly. The food was enjoyable. If I had to be picky I gluten free cakey cake would have been nice to have.

Great cafe!! Had the Biscoff and fudge cake, with a scoop of caramel ice cream on the side it was all delicious. Coffee was good, all the food looks lovely. Quick service and the whole cafe inside and out is dog friendly. Great find!

Sadly service and quality of food not as good as would have expected, also would state that staff are closing everything up ahead of advertised closing time including toilets even though you have bought and paid for food and drink Disappointing

A busy cafe but this shows it's very popular as the food is excellent. The staff friendly and always helpful. There is indoor and outdoor seating, so as it was a sunny day we sat outside for our lunch. There is a good choice of meals and the ice cream is delicious. Highly recommend that you give it a try.

Been here a couple of times for brunch/lunch and the food never disappoints. A nice selection and an average price for what you’d expect to pay at most places. Have always had a little wait for a table inside but that’s just testament to the good food that you’re waiting for. Excellent selection of cakes and ice-cream!! Only little gripe would be due to how busy the place gets, sometimes the staff can be a bit abrupt and can come across as slightly rude. Never enough to not want to come back but I think it would be great if they had some more staff as the women working always seem stressed and run off their feet!!

Very busy at lunch time ,there are tabled outside so if weather is nice saves time.This place is not cheap.but good food.My friend had ploughmans it was as excellent there was lovely ham pork pie ,3 cheeses and much more.I had quiche and salad with wedges which was very tasty. They have cakes which are overpriced and there is super cake shop close by.

Had my first experience at Woodlands cafe this morning after spending a night in Woodland Spa and oh my goodness, I knew I was in for a treat when there was a queue before opening time and I was not disappointed! What a local treasure this cafe is, I’m envious of the locals that have this on their doorstep. Everything from the quaint decor, to the amazing customer service and not to mention the fantastic options the menu has to offer. I went for the Woodland Breakfast and I could not fault it any way whatsoever. The coffee served was exquisite so much so I couldn’t help take away a bag of coffee beans that is available to buy in the cafe. The cafe offers an array of fresh cakes and plenty other options to enjoy after your breakfast or lunch or simply just pop in for a wee afternoon tea / coffee and sweet treat! With indoor or outdoor seating to choose from you’ll never be disappointed and it’s an absolute must to visit if you’re in the area or just passing through and also being dog friendly is a huge bonus! Five stars from me ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ Kate & Leanne and all the staff made us feel super welcome and creat such a friendly and happy atmosphere, nothing is too much trouble at Woodlands Cafe!

We had just walked the spa trail and called in on Saturday at 3:50 despite they were closing at 4 and us having a dog they still made us very welcome and served us the coffee was lovely and warm and the tea cake I had was one of the best despite the ladies all cleaning up to get finished they never made us feel rushed or unwelcome great service highly recommend and a huge collection of fabulous looking cakes

The Valentine's afternoon tea takeaway made a really nice change. A fairly priced, beautifully presented box, packed with a whopping afternoon tea for two with two mini bottles of prosecco - Perfect! It was absolutely delicious and we even have left overs! Thank you so much 😊

We stopped at Woodlands Cafe for a quick bite to eat after a walk in the woods. The food was excellent, as was the service. Well worth a visit if in Woodhall Spa.

We have had breakfast here on several occasions. Whether it’s a toasted teacake, full English, or anything in between, the food is consistently good. Everyone is very friendly and dogs are welcome too and often receive a treat from the staff. Woodlands serves good coffee and a wide selection of cakes, the banoffee cheesecake is to die for.

They were busy but very accommodating, waited for a table as we knew the food is worth it. Lovely meal as ever. Would recommend to anyone visiting Woodhall Spa

This is the best cafe in Woodhall Spa, the staff are so friendly and helpful and the food especially the home made quiche is delicious. My cousin and I travel from Leicester every 6 weeks to visit our Auntie and this place to go ,I would thoroughly recommend anyone visiting Woodhall Spa to visit here. We only wish we lived nearer we would definitely be regular customers.

So went to woodlands for lunch , baked potato was not too hot , the cheese had no chance to melt, meagre portion of side salad on the plate , £8 for a potato,woman who took the order wasn’t friendly or welcoming in fact all staff were good at ignoring us , the place was busy inside and out , not nice to have to share the place with so many dogs . Woodhall has lots of places to eat so won’t be going there next time

On holiday in tree area walked in to sit down and was abruptly shouted at by a lady I think she was Irish to wait to be seated! There was no sigh for this and people had just walked in before us, so we waited like naughty children while another lady very grumpily got us another chair so the 4 of us could sit down! We nearly left at this point but our friend needed a drink as after illnesses he needs to rest…anyway we decided just to have a drink then instead of cake as well and again had very abrupt service from the shorter lady and then sat and waited for a very long time for the drink, a young girl brought them out and I don’t think she could crack a smile! ….all in all the drinks were very nice the place itself felt toxic and quite uncomfortable I would avoid it and go to the lovely people in the deli down the road lovely cakes and wonderful service there …2 stars are for the drinks.

Fantastic lunch, good varied menu, friendly helpful staff would highly recommend. Eat in or outside.

Group of us popped in for a quick bite before going to the Kinema . Staff were really friendly and helpful. Knowing we only had limited time they made sure we were served quickly. The home made quiches are delicious. Will definitely visit again next time we are in Woodhall Spa.

Called in here whilst in the area after a night away and wow! It was absolutely packed on arrival but after a little wait they found us a table for 8 inside. Had a bit of a wait which is understandable for how busy they are inside and out. But the food was delicious! Will be returning when we are in the area at the new year. The staff work very hard, and the place is constantly busy, which for me is a sign of a place that provides great food, and it certainly was! Would recommend to anyone

Went in restaurant sat down and was told to move as the table was reserved, there was no reserve sign on the table. Found the staff abrupt and unhelpful and I am not the only one to find this, would not visit again

Was worried that we wouldn't get a table being a bigger group but they had a bigger table for us all. The food is maybe higher than average but it was good, drinks were good and the service was OK.....felt a little bit rushed, but they were very busy.

Great cafe and amazing service and food but on this occasion massively let down by one member of the team, who was exceptionally rude to myself and my partner, which resulted in us actually leaving even after we had purchased drinks, such a shame that one member of staff is so rude , the others can't do enough for you and are always so friendly, we were regular customers but we definitely won't be returning.

The service was friendly and helpful throughout our visit, starting with a sincere welcome as we came through the door. The food and drinks were also of a very high standard and very reasonably priced. The one point that overshadowed our visit was the presence of dogs inside the premises. We have no issue with the dogs themselves, but we do mind the ****ing moronic owners who - lacking any self-awareness - make no effort to control their pets and end up spoiling the experience of others. We will most probably visit Woodlands Cafe again, but we would be grateful if the management took steps to ensure dogs are only permitted in the outdoor sitting area.

All tables full when we arrived (a good sign!) Staff very polite, kept us updated, we were happy to wait. 5 mins later we were seated, menus handed to us. We ordered at the counter. Drinks were brought promptly. Food didn't take long either. Was all lovely. Cakes and ice creams were great too.

Lovely service and seating area. Homemade ice cream with the option of having it as a milkshake, which we chose to. Delicious flavours with good toppings :)

11 of us turned up 10 minutes before breakfast service was ending. The staff were brilliant found us tables so we could all sit together. All our food was served together (different items were ordered). The food was served on hot plates (cold plates are my pet hate). The food was delicious, the best breakfast for a very long time. Thank you to the staff they worked like a real team, a credit to themselves and who ever is their Boss. Thanks from a very Happy Family.

There for a light lunch on a very hot day. The service was welcoming and helpful, particularly bearing in mind the heat and humidity. We had delicious their broccoli and stilton soup and sandwiches. The soup was the best stilton soup we'd ever tasted. The sandwiches were tasty and hearty. Finished with a trip to the gelateria section offering a great range of locally made icecream. We went for coconut/choc and vanila/caramalised popcorn duo for one cornet and strawberry and pistachio in the other: each flavour was equally delicious and even the cornet wafers were better than average. We felt the prices of the food were fair bearing in mind the good quality ingredients. Hope to return someday soon.

I have eaten here on a number of occasions and have never been disappointed. The food and service is always good. The seating area outside is great, and they even did sausages for the dog :)

Is all I can say, how I have never come across this little gem is beyond belief, staff were amazingly friendly, produce was fresh and tastes insane, its certainly going to be my go to for outings whilst visiting WoodHall Spa.Social distancing was adhered too and very well implemented.I ordered three take away Afternoon Tea boxes for my mothers birthday, and I have to say there was more than enough for the 6 of us to share. It was tasty, fresh and immaculately presented- coming in cardboard fit for purpose boxes for transportation, little spoons for the fresh cream and jam.Look at these pictures, I'm insanely blown away by all aspects, thank you to the Cafe for making my mothers birthday a lot more memorable whilst we are in current times, you guys are amazing and no doubt I will see you very soon.Cant recommend highly enough.

I visited here with family for lunch and we were welcomed immediately by extremely friendly and efficient staff. A huge selection of food on the menu and the presentation and taste didn’t disappoint. Popped in for lunch as it's been closed for a few weeks...Not much has been changed inside,still great decor..Met and had a chat with the new owner Kate...She is really passionate about giving great customer service..Her mum is here as well,doing food in the kitchen..Although there was just 2 specials on the black board, we was given a clipboard with some breakfast and lunch options on it..As they are newly opened they are seeing what choices are the most popular etc..We had the special of a 'posh' fish finger ciabatta sandwich with mint mushy peas,and it was divine..We also added wedges which again was lovely to have something which wasn't fried...The coffee is lovely,great buzzy atmosphere..Staff absolutely brilliant, friendly and nothing too much trouble..And still making there own icecream..Will definitely be a return too place..

This cafe is now under new management and you can tell. The black boards are empty and there are now printed menus. It looks very bare inside but they have only just reopened.
