Enjoyed my full English breakfast here. I've just sold my cafe/bar and relocated from Kent and decided to check out Louth. I'd definitely return and have more refreshments at Tina's cafe. Real butter ( on the side of toast) just as it should be. Friendly service, good value grub...... Thank you Joe x

This is a nice cafe which is popular with the locals. It looked like a well run establishment and service levels were very good. We were unlucky with the food choice. The salad was really fresh and very nice and so was the jacket potato. Unfortunately the chilli was awful and looked and tasted like it was out of a tin. The prices were fair for the menu and from what we saw arriving at people's tables it looked fine.

Been coming to Louth for many years about once a month. Tina's was always the go to cafe, sadly of late standards have slipped badly, quality of food has really dropped off, now very bland, with little thought to presentation. Ladies toilets used by my wife were disgusting today, one WC blocked and lack of toilet paper in the other cubicle, sadly the whole experience was poor and we shall find somewhere else

Just had a large breakfast and added black pudding and mushrooms as an extra to the meal as they weren't included. Mushrooms consisted of half a mushroom cut into 4 thin slices and charged £1.25. Total cost of a large breakfast with the two extra ingredients £8.45. There's no drink with that. There's better value cafes in Louth.

Just stopped in Louth looking for lunch, saw lots of coffee places but went for Tina's and I think that was the best choice. Lovely pot of tea and I really enjoyed my steak pie, felt home made, full of steak and the pastry felt like it was home made too delicious and flaky shortcrust. Choices of chips or mash and peas. We felt it was great value and properly cooked food too. Staff were friendly as were the clientele. Would go again when next in the area and wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Had a stopover in Louth and wanted a prelunch cuppa and snack This place is so understated. A simple shop front and interior gives way to very friendly staff and cheap but wholesome food. Tea and scones with cream for 2 for under a tenner. We enjoyed it so much we went back for lunch. Home made steak pie was delicious as was the omelette. Don’t be sucked into the more swanky eateries just opened near by, this place gets my vote and if we stop over again we will be back - thanks.

My wife and I visited the cafe for a full English. Although it was very crowded, the staff were excellent and we were shown to a table upstairs with a great view of the town centre below. Good value and excellent service, but food was only OK. If you are not familiar with the creature known as the "Lincolnshire sausage", or are familiar with it, but not a fan: beware! We are not fans of them, but tend to persevere when given one. The ones offered here though are in a whole different league of flavour strength. Neither of us could take more than one mouthful of the "weapons grade" product. Tasted like strong cheese that had been festering for a while. Might make more business sense to offer ones that taste like actual sausage?!

I reviewed Tina's 9 months ago (just after we moved to Lincolnshire )with 5 stars, but unfortunately over the last 4 months things seemed to have changed there, the service was never speedy but acceptable for a busy cafe... Now it's painfully slow, my husband and his friend frequent Tina's more than myself and each time he complains about the wait, today he believed that the waitress had forgotten about their order, he's not an impatient man but he actually asked where their drinks had got to. It wasn't busy and with 4 staff working they shouldn't have had to wait so long. It's a shame because the food is excellent but we will be trying other eateries in future

Fab staff, great welcome and lovely freshly made food. i had the breakfast and it was 1st class, my wifes sandwich and coffee also excellent. very reasonable prices and some reviewers need to take that in mind, it is not and does not pretend to be one of these new trendy cafe/bar places. Have been visiting this cafe for a few years now and have noticed how much it is declining recently. Although the staff are pleasant and the food is ok I’m afraid the surroundings are in a time warp. In winter there is no heating and in summer no aircon (it’s there but been told needs fixing for years). PLEASE invest in a wipeable floor covering as the floor tiles are filthy and need replacing. The whole place needs a facelift/freshen up or customers will not be returning.

Upon seeing previous good reviews, we decided to try Tina's cafe. I was very dissapointed. Considering it wasn't very busy (9.30am) we had a long wait for food, the eggs was a little under cooked and the sausage was over cooked, I also thought the mini breakfast was expensive for what you got considering you also had to pay for coffee.

Having been regular customers at Tina's for over three years, it is disappointing that it is going very downhill. We went in shortly after Christmas and I had to ask the same waitress 3 times to wipe the sticky table. Eventually our order was taken from the most miserable staff member, and when delivered my toast was missing and the tomatoes were missing from my husband's breakfast. The woman cooking came out and told two waitresses to stop talking and do some work. We paid and left, then had to go back as we had been undercharged. No word of thanks or apology. Just a very unpleasant experience.

We visited here for breakfast after a very busy morning packing up our tent to go home after a stay at a nearby campsite (extra points for being dog friendly!). All very hungry there were plenty of options to choose from and even the option to build your own breakfast which was great for my daughter who wouldn’t eat a full breakfast but would still like certain items! The staff were lovely, the service was quick and the food was delicious! Extra shoutout to the iced latte and the big buts breakfast. It was amazing! We will definitely be returning when we are back in Anderby. Thank you!

After having had a fantastic experience here midweek during the summer, we promised ourselves we would be back for Sunday dinner. We booked by email, which was confirmed within minutes, Howe when we arrived there was no record of the booking. I was able to find the confirmation email. We were told that we could be accommodated but it would have to be in the bar area as there were 3 other bookings which already had restaurant tables reserved. We were advised to pick a table and they would set it up for us. We showed them where we would like to sit and waited for someone to bring some seating to the table. After 10 minutes we were still standing so found a different table which had seats in place. (We had already informed them that my husband was recovering from a broken ankle) Eventually the waitress came and gave us cutlery and placemats but no salt and pepper. She took our meat orders and I asked whether the veg would include cauliflower cheese, as I would like to not have it, as I have an allergy/intolerance. We waited a further half an hour for our meals, which came with the vegetables served on a tray, including the cauliflower cheese. There was only one spoon which was resting in the cheese sauce so I had to request another one. I then dished myself up a spoonful of swede/carrot mash and one broccoli floret. I did try to dish up some cabbage but found that when lifted from the plate, the cabbage came out from under the cauliflower cheese and covered in the sauce, so I had to not have cabbage. After the meal, the waitress came to clear the table. She dropped some vegetables on the tablecloth and asked if we wanted puddings to which I responded yes. After waiting for 38 minutes with no sign of the waitress to clean the table or take our pudding order, we decided to leave. On taking our payment the bar staff asked if everything had been ok, so I mentioned the above. He simply said, ‘sorry about that ‘but the mains were ok?’ I chose not to continue with the conversation, as my husband had overheard the barman say that he was going to rip someone’s head off. We are really disappointed as we had been telling everyone about how good our experience in the summer was. To top it all, there was a very large dog in the area which smelled strongly and a group of young children also came and used the pool table right next to us, despite there being a notice advising that nobody under 16 was allowed to use it. Another customer did point it out but was ignored. One or two little things we could have overlooked/forgiven but unfortunately there were too many today and we won’t be back

An unassuming little place that offers a friendly welcome and excellent, attentive service. It's got a cosy, slightly bio/eco feeling with very interesting plants and an insect hotel outside the door. Menu is limited but more than adequate for a light lunch or afternoon tea. Nice music playing unobtrusively in the background too. A really great touch is their bottomless cup for tea or coffee. Blink and you'll miss this place as you drive along the busy and fast A52 between Boston and Skegness. It's on a cross-roads just after the main Friskney village turn-off travelling NE. But DON'T miss it because it really is a worthwhile pit-stop. Opposite, down the lane towards the Wash, there is some brilliant wild walking.
