The best restaurants in Litton and Longstone Derbyshire Dales East Midlands

This is an incredible historic pub! We Rode out there last night for the warmest welcome I've had in a long time. Drank the black Lurcher and away again into the darkest of nights! Will return.

Came here twice, once for dinner and then for Sunday afternoon drinks. Outstanding hearty food and a lovely community atmosphere for a beer. Thanks to Vicky and her team. Quite possibly the best pub ever.

The food was amazing, the pie was the best

Loved our meal here. Steak was delicious! Best one we have had for a very long time. Very accommodating for us & our 9 month old daughter & collie. Great place for a bit of grub and a pint after a long days walking in the peaks. Manager was lovely too! Thank you! We will be back when we’re in the area again :)

We stopped by with two dogs having walked 8 miles. The dogs weren't allowed inside but there was covered seating outside with heating. Annabel was very friendly and kindly gave the dogs treats. the humans both had soup and coffee. All was lovely tasty and hot. The service was brilliant thank you Annabel

It has a very good atmosphere, but Yorkshire puddings were burnt.It was very tasty, and filling.The service was quite slow.

Super friendly place with great coffee, cakes and sit down food, right where you need it for the trail to ride your bike or walk the dog. All in a beautiful location. Love it!

Had a super lunch and beer. Pie was fantastic, the pork Sunday lunch was quite a size, and very tasty. Kids had starters, mushrooms and olives. All very very nice. Highly recommended!! Thank you.

Lovely traditional Pub, fab atmosphere and cosy fire Quick Service and food was good, all looked home cooked. Lots of options on the menu and a specials board. Minimal options for vegetarians. Some parking out the front, was no issues for us to get parked and on street parking nearby. Would recommend and would return.

Welcome drink and sit next to the open fire after a rather cold walk on Burton Moor. Didn't want to leave, would make an ideal local xx

This pub was really good the food was beautiful, and the staff especially shaz was perfect really helpful and polite, my wife and I took some American fiends with us and they loved the food and the hospitality , Can’t wait for our next visit / Paul & Dawn

It was so annoying that they didn’t cross ❌ out the items they didn’t have from their menu !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The fish and chips was a highlight.
