Popped in again for refreshments briefly whilst out cycling. Every time I go in I’m met with a smile from the friendly staff and owners. Love this place and its position in the village is great for people watching. Today I had an oat flat white and a piece of amazing tortilla. Thanks again.

Unfortunately we didn't enjoy our lunch at Bloom. The menu looked nice but the pork, lamb and prawns were not available, apparently because the menu was shortly going to be changed. It would have been helpful to have been informed of that before we arrived (they had my phone number and had texted the day before to confirm the booking) as very likely we would have cancelled the booking and tried elsewhere had we known. The food we ordered was not great. The burger and steak sandwich were OK but the fish pie was a bit tough and difficult to cut into and the supergreen salad was basically just a large pile of slightly lukewarm, undercooked vegetables plonked onto a plate, very poorly presented and unappetising. So, all in all, rather a disappointment.

Went for lunch here after having walked around the village when it was rainy and wet - we were greeted and given a table in the tearoom where there is a stand full of that day's homemade cakes - which all looked very tempting! We were looked after very well and the food was lovely - we had the vegetable soup and a toastie which really hit the spot! The lady running it (apologies for not asking) said she runs it how she would like to experience going to a tea room, and you can tell she takes pride in this. My only regret is not having enough space in my stomach to try the cakes!

In the sleepy village of Eyam this was a godsend! Bocconceli is set in the courtyard of Eyam House, and is complimented by the bar at Coolstone, and the hot drinks and yummy dessert slices at The Nook. The atmosphere was buzzing in the courtyard, the food choices were great (amazing pizzas, loaded fries…beyond the norm….etc), and dogs were welcome! Will definitely be back.

Lovely meal, decided to visit, despite reading some recent negative reviews, looked in window, there was quite a few people in, so went for it. Didn’t regret it, had popadoms and pickle tray, and a great Rajasthani railway lamb curry! Service was great, with the bonus of a gluten free lager for the hubby.

We bought sandwiches from Cintra to take away for our walk. Just a cheese and tuna baguette and a cheese and cole slaw baguette - nothing fancy - but they were £8 each! Neither sandwich had any seasoning and were completely underwhelming. If you’re going to charge that much for a sandwich, make it memorable and delicious. We won’t be going back.

visited today after a long, tiring bike ride just to be greeted by unfriendly and impatient gentleman with a beard who barely let me finish my sentence. Despite this interaction all the other members of staff were friendly and helpful. Great food and even better coffee, made by a lovely blonde girl.
