For a northerner to say this it is serious. This has to be the best bacon, sausage and egg but I’ve ever had! Go for the large so you can enjoy it for longer.

Popped in to get some lovely bread and pain au chocolate after a morning's walking. Really delicious.

They offer great freshly prepared takeaway sandwiches - huge choice of hot and cold fillings. Takeaway drinks in compostable cups. There were some yummy looking cakes for sale too. They also have a refill-bottles area if you take your empties. What an interesting place!

great choice of made as you order sandwiches. bacon sarnies to die for. A bit tucked away from Main Street but worth that little walk around the corner on station road to get some good quality food for your onward travel or hike

We discovered this place as the sandwich shops in the main road had big queues. So glad we did, as I don't think I've ever been to such a nice sandwich shop. It is nothing fancy; just normal sandwiches, but somehow amazingly tasty. They are made to order, incredibly quickly. We were so taken with it, we bought lunch there 6 days out of our 7 day stay a few miles away. Nice sausage rolls too. Very good value prices.

We booked a last minute bank holiday Sunday lunch when staying at nearby Bakewell. Despite being very busy we were squeezed in and did not feel at all rushed. The service was friendly and welcoming, the sunday lunch excellent, and the pudding (bakewell pudding) even better. Fantastic rose wine. Just great, you made our day. Thank you!

Starter of creamed mushrooms on brioche toast with added pink peppercorns - lovely and tasty, second starter a selection of breaded and filo prawns with salad. Roast beef dinner with homemade cauliflower cheese, dauphinoise potatoes and a selection of greens and carrots, generous portions and presented very nice. A lovely environment Service excellent
