The best restaurants in Amber Valley East Midlands

Ordered 6 Dippers 4 pepperoni and 2 taco beef, only got 4 dippers and all of them had the dipping sauce in the wrap, how the hell is it a dipper if the sauce is inside, absolutely ridiculous, it's the only subway I've been to that puts the sauce inside, ill never go here again, absolutely appalling never again

Great food and service food was delicious and arrvired quicker than expected definitely recommend

I feel very angry ordered 2 special fu young. We recieved it and there was hardly thing in it. No prawns no pork hardly any chicken 2 pieces of beef more onion felt robbed

I ordered sweet and sour chicken. Egg fried rice .the sweet and sour chicken was dried up batter no chicken un edible sweet and sour sauce watered down .egg fried rice must have been sitting for days waste of money would not recommend

This is the worst takeaway meal ever, what was supposed to be beef was full on gristle that was totally impossible to to get teeth into let alone chew, no sign of any beef just something that could have been hard plastic, seriously considering taking it to Trading Standards,

The food and drink were great so it was a shame it wasn't quite hit enough. Despite the waitress offering to warm our dinners up we chose to continue eating as we were hungry. Great service as usual! Thank you 😊

Great pub, went on a Saturday, disco and karaoke. Drinks are very reasonably priced and everyone is friendly.

Don't be fooled by the dog friendly tag on the board at the front. With the minimum of at least water for a dog unfortunately there is no sign of. Coupled with sharp flint on the floor means any dog not comfortable. Call me picky but Bank Holiday would see most of the pumps available. Sadly the opposite applies here. Most pumps have a sad glass covering them indicating "that ones off". Could be really nice with a little thought. Better pubs closer that are actually dog friendly & you stand a chance of actually drinking a beer that you want.

So we were stopping here after visiting family in the area and we were on the way home. It was a very quiet afternoon. Some might not like that it's quiet but for us it was perfect. It's a bit strange inside as it's half-pub, half Travelodge but despite hesitations we found it t be perfect for what we wanted (i.e. a snack and rest after a long journey). We had the 3 plates deal (I think it was for £14-£15) and it was plentiful for the two of us. I can see why this is rated the no. 1 spot in the area.

Poor food. Complained about one dish but nothing done or offered. However it was only £8 so I suppose you get what you pay for.

We ordered a munch box and there was hardly any chicken , only two tubs and a lot of chips. This is very unfair as it cost £21 for the box. We have had these before and had much better from the same place so we know this one was very poor. I have asked for a refund for this item.

Can't comment on food as not tried it, but the drinks and entertainment are good

Absolutely lovely staff, great curries & amazing naan bread! Staff are so polite, I've asked for extras (extra chilli, cheese, garlic) which they've happily given me with no extra charge, delivery is quicker than the time they give you. My go to curry house. Definitely recommend!
