Jade Garden in Amber Valley

We ordered a munch box and there was hardly any chicken , only two tubs and a lot of chips. This is very unfair as it cost £21 for the box. We have had these before and had much better from the same place so we know this one was very poor. I have asked for a refund for this item.

Used this takeaway for many years, But used it for the last time a few months back after I was spoken to rudely on the phone by what sounded like a chinese male . Poor service!

Always within time of estimated delivery if not sooner. Food is always excellent and hot. The Duck pancake rolls and satay sauce combo 👌🏼👌🏼

It was a little on the soggy side, likely due to the late delivery.

Do not recommend,got told I couldn’t wait inside whilst I was waiting for my food to be prepared then when I finally got my food after 25 minute wait it was cold and stale.overall not happy

manager gets very angrily easily at customers, slammed door on me and my friends, not recommended as i was also told to wait outside while food was being prepared, only asked for salt and pepper chips, took 35 minutes and was super cold. not recommended and definitely not coming back.

Disgusted! Rung up, 2, 3 phone calls = 2 hours late, and food hadn’t even started being cooked! Lied on first call said, it was out for delivery, clearly wasn’t!!! Blaggers!!!! Ruined an evening!!! Do not recommend!!! Avoid find somewhere that deserves your money!!!

I'll never order dry ribs again however. The things we order after a few should be banned. who on earth orders dry ribs. 😕

We went in to order and collect after seeing a lot of negative reviews about delivery. We arrived at 7.30-8pm on a Friday night. Quick, friendly, and polite service. Food was outstanding. Not too greasy. Very well cooked and very tasty. I can imagine that delivery would be awful considering Kilburn is quite small with probably no other companies that offer delivery so a total lack of drivers willing to go out and collect. If you live in Kilburn then walk there and order. If you don't, I would advise you give it a miss as it sounds like you'll be waiting a good while for delivery. But I would personally recommend.

Food arrived 2 hours late from order. We rang the restaurant three times for an update and the driver was “round the corner” every time. Food was cold as you would expect, quality was average at best, very disappointing! Will definitely avoid next time!!

we drove to the store at 20.30 and collected it, no way would it have arrived at any other quoted times..1hr late and never delivered...poor

Delivered me the wrong dish and then rang them on Just Eat no answer four times and I googled the restaurant and an angry woman was shouting at me down the phone telling me to phone the Home Number when i found the restaurant number on Google. I’m on rang me from the restaurant refusing to give me the correct dish and said that it was right and I was wrong.

Absolutely outstanding! Great food

Couldn’t even take time to take the mushrooms out which I’m allergic too, plus the egg fried rice tasted burnt

Upon arrival we were greeted by a 13 year old child who was working behind the counter who then picked our order up off the floor. When we got the food home it was under and over cooked and cold. I took the food back and asked for a refund, and was met with hostility. We will not be ordering from here again, under age workers, inedible food and incompetent manager.

Having used this place many times, they seem to have a high staff turnover. But the last two occasions have hit a low. Today, when making a call to order food, it seemed chaotic. Upon collection there were three very young girls behind the counter who were not competent to be there. Plus with three more mates on the customer side, it was a totally unprofessional situation, and probably illegal for those serving. As for the previous experience, a two hour wait for delivery of a large order was unacceptable, and food was received virtually cold. Such shame, as food quality is usually decent. Management needs to get their act together. It's unlikely I'll return!

The food was really nice and really warm when it finally arrived. We live 0.9 miles away from the restaurant and unfortunately it took 1 hour 50 minutes to deliver the food from placing the order which is poor by anyone’s standards. It was 40 minutes late from the time we were advised it would arrive. Food wise really nice, service wise quite poor. Will collect next time.

Do NOT use this takeaway. There is no telephone number to contact them. They failed to deliver order. There was not even an apology for the inconvenience they caused.

First time ordering and really impressed! Food was hot and the Singapore noodles amazing, driver rang when he couldn’t find us but was lovely and only a few mins away! Definitely ordering again 😀

Been using for years but recently it has gone downhill fast. Food is just very average. The service is terrible. I ordered online and after waiting 1.5hours I called to be told not sure where my order is and to call back in 15mins. Called back to be told they can’t find it in the kitchen so it might be out for delivery. After 2 hours 15mins I called back to cancel order and girl said she would have to ask manager. I was still on phone 10mins later and she hadn’t come back to me when we got a knock on the door. Food was here 2.5 hrs after ordering it. It was cold and to be honest not that good. After using for nearly 20 years we won’t be ordering from them again.

It came 20 mins late, but the restaurant did get back to me about it. Order was part wrong and what did come was greasy and tough. Can’t comment on Just Eat dealing with the situation because they haven’t got back to me.

The ribs were incredible the meat fell off the bone the stir fried broccoli was cooked perfectly as well overall the food was amazing would definitely recommend

Ordered food and it never came, rang them up again 2 hours later to be told that we were too busy. Not very good service at all and never had this issue before.

Our food arrived late. It was completely inedible. I’ve never complained about food before however this was so salty we couldn’t eat it and therefore we binned it and I have requested a full refund which we are yet to receive. I never want to leave a negative review so I called the company directly and advised them how we couldn’t eat the food due to the salt in the food and I suggested they should try eating the food. I have asked them to process a full refund.

Appalling service. DO NOT ORDER! Food never arrived and the restaurant marked it as delivered on time. Requested an update through just eat, which they ignored, so I called the restaurant. The woman on the phone was extremely rude and hung up. The worst service I've ever received, all I asked was when the food will be delivered. Can't comment on whether the food is any good as we didn't receive any.

ordered from here many of times but last time the food was awful. the sauce for the duck and pancakes wasn't like usual and tasted like a spoon of salt that it wasnt even edible, the chicken balls were also not cooked properly and couldn't eat them. Ordered through Just Eat and they don't want to know, which has now led to a review

very disappointing. arrived late ( but it was hot) we had a mixed grill and a special curry with egg fried rice. all the meat was over cooked and tasteless, not to mention lacking substance. the rice was over done. the curry was like water even the crackers were stale. won't be using them again.

Arrived 20 mins late making it a total of an hour and 40 minutes. Ordered the munch box. Poor value for money. Mostly consisted of chips. 5 small pieces of chicken to split amongst 3 people. Rice and chow mein came in the same box so hard to separate as some like chow mein and others don’t. Pink meat, presumably chicken or pork in the meat spring rolls which I ordered separately. Food was nice but let down by a few small issues.

Onky had takeaway. Bit it was amazing

substandard this time. chips were not fresh and they were dry and cold. and various other items just seemed pre heated but still not hot on arrival. dissatisfied this time especially after a great first experience on our first order which was only about a month ago. no idea why the food slacked so much in such a short space of time.

Delivered very quickly. Quality food and plenty of it! Don't pass them by as they really are a little gem. Curry is very nice. This is now our go to for Chinese food !!

Never had a bad takeaway from Jade Garden, their food is beautiful, chow meins are delicious, salt and pepper anything is always so good. Great takeaway, delivery time is always before expected and the delivery guys are always lovely.

Completely impossible to order online. Cannot access the menu. 'My' basket contains a can of 7Up even though I haven't ordered it, and I cannot delete it. I have never used the website before but it tells me there is an account associated with my emsil address. Of course I don't have a password as I don't have an account, but played along and tried to reset it. Impossible. AND there is no phone number to contact the premises Totally unacceptable.

Online system takes money and cancelled the order ... No food and no money returned .. SCAMMERS

Usually really good but tonight.we were told 45 minutes to 1 hour phoned 1hour 20 minutes later to be told it would another hour not good enough

Great food, good service, quick delivery

Ordered chicken fried rice with chips and carton of curry sauce. Made the big mistake of pouring the sauce over the rice. I could only eat a couple of mouthfulls. I think they thickened the sauce with salt by mistake. Not good.

The best receptionist on the desk - so chatty and friendly. Food good.

Been going here for over ten years, this last year our orders have been terrible, either mixed up, bits missing or really, really salty (all of these happened tonight). I keep hoping that they will get it right but so far haven’t managed it. Finally decided that we won’t be going back - tonight was the last straw, do yourselves a favour and go to golden gate in Belper...

We order one about every other Friday for delivery and it’s alway delicious! The salt and pepper wings are something else and if you like ribs try the honey ones! Can’t knock this place. Tasty and always hot. Friendly deliver drivers too but be prepared to wait a bit (it’s worth it though)!!!

You pay a little more than other Chinese but you can taste the difference. Also delivery drivers are always friendly and chatty

My daughter ordered a takeaway at 7.30, nothing for 1 hour rang twice and told 5 min each time. Another 20 min later turned up completely wrong. Would not recommend

Used Jade Garden for several years - with new owners there is always an error in the order - something missing every time. Today one of the meals was 1/4 tub consisting of a few pieces of beef in a drop of gravy - no mushrooms, no other veg. Appalling - totally sick of this place - we will not be using again. When you call them all they can say is ' we will speak to the chef'.

Great Chinese Takeaway, always very tasty and our preferred place. Have food from here most months.

Since it's been taken over its gone down hill in my eyes I get told my food will be 20 mins when I order and it's never been any quucker then 2 hours!! And everytime you ring to see howuch longer they always say the same "o he's just left the shop he's on his way to you now about 10 mins" and it never is...

Im a regular here food spot on, although delivery times have known to be slightly delayed dependent on time/day Gonna give this a 5* for food and service. Delivery times needs more work!! So brings it down to 4*.
