KFC Derby - Somercotes in Amber Valley

Don’t order Uber if you eat in this order. We ordered mini fillets and got sent popcorn chicken. We ordered gravy and got sent corn on the cob and rice. When I called to complain they simply said there is nothing that they could do and that I could go and collect the other items… kind of defeats the point in an Uber. Especially having waited an hour for the delivery

Cold food items missing cost nearly £80 for five meals half potions of cold chips far too expensive for the quality and quantity you receive

I am a former employee that worked there for 2 months at first it was good and everything was going well, and then since spraining my ankle everything went down hill from their and was a cut in hours. In addition, I also tried to get back on my feet and show up the best way I can so that I could have my hours back but never received them that affected me massively as I also live on my own. Got an unfair dismissal today through the manager and higher ups due to my punctuality and attendance for me that wasn’t a good enough excuse to get rid of me because I had good work ethic and you didn’t have to tell me how to do my job probably as I always gave it 100%. It’s a shame because the people I actually worked with were nice and very communicative

I ordered a tower burger with 2 hot wings and instead they put a drumstick in which is disgraceful by the way

Food was cold, dried out chicken and ridiculously overpriced.

They also don’t care and laugh at you on the phone

When you are craving a hot, salty, crispy chicken treat... This is the perfect meal to satisfy it.

When order arrived it was cold the only thing that warmed it up was the beans I put in the microwave and they was my beans!!!!!!!

It's freezing cold in there. We ask if there can turn it off, but nothing. Make sure you got a jacket with you.

Staff are never polite and always told to wait to take my order. 8 minutes later, no opportunity. Chicken fillets are always chewy , fries are still terrible. Over priced and probably be missing something, that’s happened a few times. Kfc’s not what it used to be and it’s hard to find a decent restaurant. 🙁

Takeaway Zinger Supercharger Tower Box Meal. Managed to get my drink without ice, which is good. Fast service. Tasty food. Obviously it's not fine dining but got a quick and satisfying meal for £11 and sometimes that's exactly what I want.

The incompetency is staggering. I eat here probably once a week and Id say 75% of my orders are missing items, wrong items and most certainly a long wait. Went to the drive through Tonight and despite only being THREE cars total, took 30 mins to get a meal and a krushem. Prio seemed to be JustEat/Uber as food was flying to the front but not to the drive through window. There were zero customers in the restaurant itself. 30.....minutes.

They had issues finding the house as normal

Absolutely awful food was cold to touch to say it’s 20 minutes down the road missed 1 of my drink the delivery guy had a terrible attitude also blasting music down my street with all this windows down not professional at all,asked for 4 packets of salt gave me 20 what a waste do not recommend at all ! Food said delivered on the app, when infact it hadn’t been delivered. The food did eventually arrive , stone cold and with the drinks and some sides missing. I tried to talk to the driver , but he walked off and said no English ! Absolutely disgusting behaviour and service and will not be using this company again.

Chips have improved so much, brought a zinger tower meal with iced tea as no normal coke only (max) liked it so much added 2 snack boxes and a kids meal, looks better than Mac Donalds inside like western BBQ smokey feel inside, the women on the till didn't listen

We ordered a share bucket with 2 large sides. Got home and ALL 4 portions of fries missing, and the wrong sides. Not the first time it's happened here either😔

Was disappointed that several options we wanted were out of stock. Ended up buying something we didn't want as we were already committed to the drive through. Quality wasn't great, burger was overcooked and chicken was tough. No wonder it's always dead despite being on a very busy retail park.

Service was soooo slow. The staff were more concerned with serving Uber eats/JustEat drivers than actually serving real paying customers, i.e., me and two other manual workers. Look at my other reviews to see where I've been!

Food is nice but it's VASTLY OVER PRICED hence foot fall about 10 percent of macdonalds. Some have doubled in cost boneless banquet 10 quid from 5 in know time it's hardly worth 5 never mind 10 quarter of size to photos use. Would go more and use more than macs but end of day we in cost of living crisis. It's all about the MONEY

This order was placed at 16.30 today and arrived at 18.15. One meal not multiple items. Food was stone cold upon arrival and has had to be reheated. Not happy at all. Extremely poor and unsatisfactory.

Driver went to the wrong address, we booked food to be delivered for 5.45pm, it arrived 6.10pm.

Wrong sauce, the sides were mixed up and the chicken tasted horrible today, weird texture.

I ordered the biggest boneless bucket but the large popcorn chicken was missing. I phoned them twice - no answer. The other food in the order was nice. However, it’s not great customer service when some of the order is missing.

Firstly the food was fine it's what you'd expect. Secondly the reason behind the low rating is this, I'm not entirely sure when it became acceptable to have staff swearing in their conversation with each other in front of customers. A young lad (well they're all young so that doesn't narrow it down but anyhow) was chatting rather loudly behind the serving area about his daily goings on and must have dropped the f bomb about 4-5 times. Now I'm not offended at all by this but surely this is unprofessional and what about children being present. Surely there should be an expectation that you don't use this language whilst on shift in front of customers.

Same as other KFC's. Ate in for lunch as not been for a while. It wasn't the cleanest at that time and there was a long wait for food. But it was hot and cooked freshly, so I can't complain

Arrived 30 mins late and they had written on the bag that one of the sides wasn’t available so they put in one we didn’t want. Could have just called to see what we wanted instead, but no.

Absolutely dreadful place. Never got my order as it was given to someone else. Never even got an apology from the manager who issued the refund. In fact, he never even looked up or spoke to me. Shocking place that needs some customer service training.
