The best restaurants in East Midlands

Has to be one of the most unappealing meal I have ever had the misfortune to have.Poor production used .

Pleasant micropub selling a good variety of cask, keg, cans and bottles plus spirits, cider and wine. Lovely atmosphere, nice landlord and decent prices.

Absolutely delicious food, the service was great, staff were very welcoming. Such a nice and cosy place. Absolutely recommend it.

Had our first takeaway on Friday and it was first class just as ordered, we’ve been trying to get something specific for our taste for a long time locally and have finally succeeded ,we will definitely be back to eat in and have more takeaway.Thanks again.

Well this is beginning to look repetitive but again we found a lovely place, along with cheerful staff and very attentive, we only had a snack of toasted teacakes, along with a pot of real tea ,and China cups, but really enjoyed it.

Brilliant fish and chips, and the kebabs are great too..always busy ,which is a good sign..

I would definitely not recommend this place for anyone. I bought Tawa for 4 but when we got home we were surprised, it looked like meal for 2. The meat tested like it was reheated from last night as it was soft like cheese.

Went yesterday afternoon and had a beautiful dinner for 2. I had fish and chips. Big portion and cheaper than the chippy. My husband had steak and ale pie which was lovely. Staff were great. I had a question about a cheese which the lady couldn't answer so the chef came out to see me which I thought was lovely. Good value especially if your a family. Were not but I would go back once a week. You couldn't cook what we had for the price we paid at home. Well done to the chef. See you next Wednesday for my cheese and onion pie.

First time here last night. Incredible! Small place so make sure you book! Service was amazing, knowledgeable staff for pizzas and beers. Best pizzas in Leicester imo 🙌
