I took my son in there this evening and got asked to leave whilst we were playing pool, as they found cocaine in there toilet and I was apparently the only Person in the pub it could of been Baring in mimd was a few women in there A couple did use the Toilets before me before they left which was after I used the toilet. I assured them I Had not used any drugs on The premises there was no evidence of it being me I then witnessed the owners both grab my son who did point in the owners face but did not touch them police were called as they both put there hands on a minor. This behaviour was disgusting and bullying because I’m not A regular like the others I was wrongly blamed the police searched me all clean And swabbed me also negative for cocaine. Absolutely disgusted by there language to a minor and threats and How I was made to feel when I had done no wrong. There reason being it must be you there is no one else here that would Forgetting the ones just left off there heads. I can’t believe there judgment on people and behaviour towards children. Police also have confirmed we were in no Wrong doing thank you the owners should be ashamed.! Watch your kids in there as he is very aggressive towards them and very rude and arrogant I wouldn’t be happy With my children being there especially when he assaulted my son grabbing his finger and bending it making theeats and pushing him about my son didn’t touch Him he pointed at him then his Wife grabbed his shirt too without myself An adult being there can you imagine How that makes a young lad feel especially just defending his mum as he knew i wasn’t in the wrong we were just playing pool. Absolutely gutted we have been treated this way.

Food on lunchtimes during week. Sunday dinner booking advised. Good seating. Open fires. Beer garden. Books and games in abundance. Friday meat raffle.

Lovely evening sat in the pub garden, lovely space and nice people around, good service.

Went as a family with the dog and did not know what to expect and what a surprise we had. Sunday lunch was lovely and hot. Could tell it was homemade. We all enjoyed our dinner even the dog with his doggy dinner. Lovely relaxing and friendly atmosphere. Highly recommended and we will be going back. Thank you Sophie and Dave 😁 x

Great staff, live music every Friday, meat raffle, bingo, darts and pool table. Landlord and landlady are great and extremely welcoming. Definitely recommend

Lovely little pub. Almost didn't want to write a review, as I want to keep it to myself! Nice 'old pub' feel. Best thing about it, is the beer garden. Great little sun trap and good for children too, with it being enclosed.

Been a few times recently and have got to know the landlord and landlady Dave & Sophie. Lovely couple and have made us feel very welcome. It's a lovely community pub. We enjoyed a lovely Evening Friday watching Jack Kendrick and Saturday afternoon at the BBQ with singer Charlie Rose.

The new team taking on this place are trying very hard and my guess is they'll do well. Lovely selection of Bateman's ales to complement the warm welcome in a cosy gem of a pub. Not exactly on pole position of the grid but easy to get to. For us today it was a pleasant stroll along the canal. ITS DOG FRIENDLY TOO! Thanks for all the heads up Lincoln info. Nice side street pub just out from Lincoln centre, Very friendly staff and locals, batemans beer on tap which was very well kept! Visited on a Friday night and was very quiet But made to feel very welcome

They lost their licence because of breaking multiple Covid-19 Rules!! So nope, nothing anymore!!

Why review it as been closed down due to lack of restrictions of corona virus. We did have a get together for our grandsons 21st birthday on the evening of 21 sept and I must say they didnt take details but do know us but didnt take details off anyone. They did tell us that they are going to take as much money as possible before new restrictions take place. They must of taken a lot of money that night as there was at least 50 people attend the 21st. Really enjoyed it and people did seem to keep to their tables but not cos they were told to as no-one was told to do anything. Shame landlady and landlord weren't more strict as a nice couple. They are a fool to themselves as no job for them now just for staying open when the rules were doors closed at 10pm. Hope the pub doesn't stay closed for long for all the locals who visit there.

Great hostess and host, very good selectionbof ales and lagers on tap, I enjoyed a few Sagers an the Punk IPA was also good. I would highly recommend this pub and as the name may suggest, Dogs are very well recieved 😊 I will be returning in the very near future

The new owners are terrible. They forgot I booked a room and when I turned up to use it, it was piled high with old furniture. They've also raised the prices. A pint that used to be £2.50 is now £4.50.

This is a great pub, with a wonderful selection of beers ales and cider. It also has a fantastic and secluded beer garden with plenty of cover from the rain. A very pleasant place to have an afternoon drink.

This is by far the best community spirited pub in LINCOLN. Great choice of ales plus 3 or 4 ciders. Clientele are friendly and conversation is never difficult. A 3 course Su day lunch is served once a month but there are many and varied good theme nights. The quiz night is well attended. There are various food competition nights which are fun. The beer garden is beautiful. There is an outside room called the Kennel which is available for functions. Guess what? The dog and Bone is dog friendly, you will meet Dexter, Benji, Cooper, Charlie and Lister among many more. Simply a gem of a pub.

It's a good friendly Pub but doesn't open til 4.30pm...when I ran it I opened at 11a.m and it was better. THEY run lots of really good food & different meetings & Venues to try & cater for most people...highly commendable since my last report a while back !!

Racist staff spat in my food and told me that I was sat on the white side of tye eating area I thought that is so not on and finished my burger which was quite nice in the blacks area

Really homely little pub. Huge, pretty beer garden. Dogs are allowed in the bar and garden. Large range of real ales. Fireplace and comfy chairs, also has quite a few games and a bookcase full of all types of book.
