The best restaurants in England

We took visiting friends for lunch today. The food was excellent, the service superb and lovely setting. We highly recommend the Barley Mow and will definitely be back again soon!

One word, delayed! We arrived around 7pm and ordered chicken chilli momos, one soy dish with roti, one mutton dish with roti, and a veg thali. They told was 2 of the dishes would be delayed and would take 20-25 minutes. The momos and the soya and the mutton dish without the rotis came around an hour late actually. And the thali and the roti upon constant enquiries came another hour late. And the thali was a bit average, rotis weren’t quite nice, too crispy but also by that time we had lost our appetite as well. It wasn’t as if the restaurant was very busy as well. I wouldn’t say bad about the food, it was actually okay but cannot be enjoyed if you give the roti an hour later you give the curry.

Came with a party of 25 All food was absolutely beautiful service was fantastic and not one complaint. Excited for my next visit half eaten photo as it was too good not to dive straight in!

Sick of the menu delivery guy cutting across my garden to next door. This is not the first time, now my fence is leaning over. I am disabled and can’t fix it my self. Maybe the Asian guy could come fix it?

Peaceful haven with the best tasting food. Loved the jacket potatoes and smoothies. Great value for money….go and eat here!

Great independent coffee shop with really great coffee.can't comment on the food as I didn't have any. Not the cheapest but the quality makes it worthwhile.

Cod was a bit greasy chips had to many scraggy bits been going here for years disappointing the chips was a ripoff because scragg made up to a quarter of the potion

Wet pub. Fantastic local, extremely well run. Always clean, warm, great beer.

This cafe has been closed for months. There doesnt seem any sight of it reopening. I think the owner was having staff problems and suffering from unsympathetic reviews. We enjoyed our visits and good food. Shame
